Luxury service for a luxury Move.

Luxury service for a luxury move. I was moving high-end furniture and delicate antiques from Dubai to Monaco, so I needed a company that truly understood how to handle valuable items. They crated everything perfectly, used top-quality wrapping materials, and provided a good white-glove delivery service. Every single item arrived flawless. A premium service worth every cent!

Our corporate relocation was made easy. My company relocated me from Antwerp to Houston, and this moving service exceeded expectations. The team was polite and incredibly detail-oriented, taking special care with our numerous electronics. The unpacking was done efficiently. There was one small mix-up with a missing box, but they tracked it down quickly. Overall, an excellent experience!

Empty promises STAY CLEAR

Added Note ----Today November 27! I received reaction promptly from Amoov after posting wrote them an Email back as to explain the situation once again, got notified that I had a debt after they agreed on giving me a ridiculous ammount back compared to what was dammaged. Nothing since back to mails being ignored!!!
Again nothing good to say about this company besides the sales team!!!
---------------Nothing went right, I could write a whole book about this move. All the slogans used to sell you the move on their site is exactly the opposite of the experience we had. From the beginning wrong assessment of volume to delivery and broken items with dismissal of insurance. Litle to no support and comms during the transit and extra fees. Worse moving experience ever!

Attention to detail Is unmatched

This was a tough move from Ottawa to Tours, and I had some fragile crystal items that needed extra care. Not only did they wrap everything securely, but they also ensured that my fragile glassware was placed in the best spots. I could tell that they genuinely cared about preserving these items. Very professional.

Amoov Group promise many things

Amoov Group promise many things - and deliver none. This fiasco was booked with Amoov in DEC 2024. As of Feb 16, the container has still not left the port! Repeated requests for communication with management have been ignored. Absolutely the worst logistics company we have ever experienced in 25 years of doing international trade.

A Move Across the Globe—No Problems at All!

Our family recently relocated from Cape Town to Washington DC, and we are so grateful we chose AMOOV. From the moment we made our first inquiry, they took the time to understand our needs and provided a detailed breakdown of the moving process. When it came time to pack, the team showed up on time and got to work right away. They were so meticulous with our items, including some rare collectibles. We didn’t have to worry about anything! The unloading was just as smooth, and they even set up our kitchen items so that we were able to cook our first meal in our new home that evening in between the two unpacking days. I couldn’t have asked for a more hassle-free international move.

Great Sales Promises, Awful Experience

I would strongly advise against using AMOOV for your international move due to extensive delays, additional charges/fees and extremely poor customer support. Do your research and pay attention to the poor reviews, you will see that our experience is in no way an isolated incident.

We moved from San Francisco to Dublin, Ireland and it took 7.5 months to finally receive our goods despite an initial estimate in the contract of 4-6 weeks door to door.

The sales representative was excellent but things started to go downhill after we were passed to the operations team. The team were often unresponsive and took days or weeks to respond to emails, they were unable to provide basic documentation or answer simple questions (eg. where are our goods now). We were charged additional fees twice (total worked out as an additional ~50% on top of the initial quote) for storage of goods both in the US and then Europe that was in no way our fault or responsibility. Note that the billing team are also extremely proactive and responsive, which is not surprising!

Important Note: I contacted the 'amoov cares' alias on multiple occasions throughout the process but never got a response - that seems to purely be a PR exercise to show some level of care on bad reviews.

When we finally received our items, they were in good condition and the 3rd party ground teams in both the US and Ireland were great but, overall, dealing with the delays and the lack of communication from AMOOV for over 7 months was extremely stressful. Avoid if at all possible.

Service déplorable, coûts cachés, à éviter à tout prix

Nous avons eu une expérience horrible avec AMOOV. Le déménagement en tant que tel s'est passé correctement, mais les coûts cachés et le service pour indemniser les dégâts causés ont tout ruiné.
Pour les coûts, nous avons dû passer d'un container de 20 pieds à 40 pieds... du coup, la facture a triplé! Évidemment quand tous vos meubles sont déjà entreposés, dur de faire appel à une autre entreprise... Volume estimé par appel vidéo, du coup largement sous-estimé.
Pour les dégâts: 3 mois pour obtenir une réponse du service concerné qui promet une solution dans les 7 jours... nous sommes 4 mois plus tard, plus aucune réponse à mes mails et bien sûr pas de numéro de téléphone.

Évitez AMOOV à tout prix! Ils écriront peut-être une belle réponse, mais par contre aucune à la dizaine de mails que je leur ai envoyés.

They built custom crates for secure transport and checked import regulations for me. Incredible service and meticulous attention to detail! The remainder of my 20ft container arrived safe and sound.
