Strong training management software with a deep understanding of how training businesses work.

I reviewed the market and selected Arlo over other options in 2022. We've been really happy with the decision. As with any system, there are areas that aren't quite how we'd want but have been able to work around effectively.

The main limitation is email marketing. I solved this with a custom Mailchimp integration that replicates key Arlo data as tags enabling effective segmentation.

Arlo is essential to our training business and has allowed us to scale effectively and efficiently. We use it for all aspects and would be lost without it.
The new e-learning platform included has also been a real bonus and while still in development is streets ahead of what we were using before.

Some aspects of Arlo are a little clunky but it’s in constant development and evolution. The only thing that could be improved (and hence 4/5 stars) is the email system that we’ve been asking and waiting for improvements to since we signed up years ago. It’s functional but limiting in some basic features that would really help us.

Product does not work. Customer service is lacking knowledge of product. Waste of money

Spam senders. Investigated options a few years ago. Never used them and now just won't leave us alone. Bothering us via emails constantly despite not wishing to hear from them.

Great product. Worked really well and did what we needed it too. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that some functionality could be improved. Great value for money though and exceptional customer service. Would recommend.

Absolute headache to work with, despite having more degrees than a protractor in our offices and designing control systems and being able to design websites we have had a nightmare implementing this software, spent hours and still had to revert to old software, it allows anyone to book training as an account customer on credit, it doesn't allow organizations to access their own certs where multiple people book training, it works with Stripe which is a rip off, No phone number to talk to for customer support.

Great Training Management Software platform! I used it for 3 years(2013 - 2016) at Engineering NZ to manage our training and events.
