Too scratchy/itchy for me, won't be able to wear this without another thick layer underneath. Washing by hand and air drying it that someone recommended didn't make any difference

I ordered a Medium shirt expecting a soft next-to-skin base layer. Unfortunately, I found the fabric quite itchy, and the Medium fit significantly smaller than expected. The material appears well made and lightweight, but the comfort and sizing did not meet my expectations. I would recommend checking measurements carefully and considering sizing up.

I was very excited to order a shirt from Arms of Andes. upon receiving, the shirt was tried on and found to be very itchy and uncomfortable, so a return was requested. the shirt was never worn beyond the one try on. Arms of Andes denied the return, stating the shirt showed signs of wear. So, now they are shipping it back to me, less the $5 restocking fee charged. For a company the says it values sustainability, this shirt has been shipped 3 times.

Arms of Andes does not stand behind their products. I cannot recommend clothing from this company.

I ordered two pairs of alpaca leggings and neither fit correctly. Sizing runs inconsistent across their styles, which is frustrating on its own. What made it worse is their return and exchange policy offers almost no flexibility.
The process required multiple rounds of photos before a label would even issued. The same conditions, items must be unworn and unstained, were repeated three times throughout the exchange. I received the package the same day I requested the return. The tracking information confirms this. The implication that I had somehow worn and returned them within hours was insulting.
Their quality control team inspects every return anyway. The photo requirements and repeated policy reminders on top of that felt excessive and made the whole experience feel adversarial.
If you are considering ordering, size up and know that returning or exchanging anything will cost you time, a $5 label fee and a fair amount of patience. The product may be good. The process around it needs work

I went out on a limb and bought 2 pocket tee shirts from Arms of Andes. I typically wear Merino wool, but liked some of the properties of alpaca and gave it a try. Upon arrival, one shirt was good, however the 2nd shirt came with a hole in it close to the pocket. I sent in photos immediately and told them this was how it arrived. A of A in essence said we don't believe you, warranty is only for manufacturing defects and the pictures look like you snagged the shirt, which I absolutely did not. They "offered" 20% off another new shirt as a "kind gesture". Pretty sad, Arms of Andes. I paid a lot of money on these shirts, only to have terrible customer service. How on earth will you earn the trust and respect of customers when you refuse to honor my purchase? It's incredibly disappointing. A very bad look for this company. I honestly still can't believe this is the service I received, truly absurd.

I read alpaca should be less itchy, but I bought Marino wool from icebreaker brand at the same time and there’s a huge difference. Maybe it’s the quality of the material of Arms of Andes specifically - I don’t know.

Also not allowed to return once it’s worn? But how would you know, it’s a base layer

I bought several things from them and it ended up being very expensive which I don't mind paying for quality items. However the bra and leggings that I bought wouldn't work. I tried them on of course to see how they would fit and the bra didn't fit and the leggings were super itchy. I wish I had thought to read reviews beforehand. They made me pay to ship the items back and now I'm out more money for them to return them back to me because they are saying the items are "worn" even though I merely tried them on and never washed them. You can literally still see the leg fold crease in the leggings 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ worst purchase ever!!!! Ugh! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I bought four shirts it feels like you are wearing a burlap bag. Very uncomfortable. And once you wear it or wash it you cannot return it for it looks like it goes to the garbage can I will expressed my views on every site on that I can.

Clothing is scratchy on, shrinks considerably. Buyer beware! Definitely wish I purchased a competitor’s brand in lieu of this one.

The material is very scratchy and not true to what the company claims. The products are overpriced

I don’t about clothes cuz I yet to receive it after ordering more than two weeks ago. I had change the hoodie size I request a change within hours of placing the order, response was order already been processed, two weeks yet not even shipped

The quality is terrible. They limit reviews - at least to people that don't return the items (and maybe more). The shirt I bought looked like a child's shirt and was so thin it was see through...like tissue paper. I can't believe anybody keeps these items of clothing for the prices they pay. I had to send multiple emails to get them to authorize my return (and it's a tight window) and they charged me shipping coming and going and had a lot of extra return process hoops (e.g., pictures of the items).

Some of their products are great, I love their bras, tank tops and hoodie but the stitching is absolutely shocking, especially on the leggings, it just gave in and now I have holes on the inside part of the legs after not even a year of use. This is really disappointing considering the price. The clothes also tend to be itchy and give me a rash.

On the plus side, they helped with canceling an order quickly and responded promptly. I returned leggings that were too large on the waist and itchy. I only wore them for about 10 seconds to try them on. They required I send pictures before returning them, which I did. Now they are claiming the leggings show "signs of use." I didn't use these leggings more than just trying them on. They are refusing to accept a return because of like 3 tiny dog hairs which could easily be brushed off. I carefully inspected, shook out, looked at these 10 times, and packed the leggings before returning them but it seems a few slipped hairs through. My dog is white, the leggings are black. I tried my very best. They are black leggings which show any lint or any sign of hair. Beware this company, picky, militant return policy. If you even open a garment to return it, they won't accept it for return. Very unsatisfied.

Extremely poor experience and unprofessional sales tactics - you buy online and then the order is not shipped and you are unable to contact the company. I would not recommend buying from Arms of Andes ever again and do not understand how a company like this are allowed to operate in Europe.

Tried on their socks and really disliked them. They have a seam that runs right along the tips of your toes. And they're not soft. I returned them but they said they wouldn't refund me because I'd worn them. Looks like a scam.

They shipped the package, then it stayed in the same place for a month and never moved. It’s been months and tried to contact them several times and no response. Magically they respond when you dispute on credit card and ask you to remove the dispute to help you. Shady company. Don’t buy from them.

Bad customer service.

So I ordered a pair of Men's Alpaca Wool Boxers for 44 Euros on 22/8/2024. I read on the website that they were not supposed to get in a new supply until sometime in January. Then in September I got an email about my order being shipped, but it never arrived, so I thought hmmm maybe they are just trying to source it. Waiting until beginning of Feb I start to ask myself -Where are those underwear that I ordered, shouldn't they have come yet? So I contact support and they tell me sure we will investigate this which was Feb 7. Time goes and now it is Feb 27 and I ask them if there is any update and they tell me they are still investigating it. More time passes and it is now March 30th and I ask them how it is going, then they come back to me on April 1st (I wish it was a joke) and tell me this:

"Hello Tobias,
We understand your frustration regarding the delay and lack of resolution for your order. We have thoroughly investigated this issue with the carrier. However, due to the age of your order, they are unable to provide further information.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience. To offer a solution, we would like to provide you with a 50% refund of the total value of your order, including shipping costs.

My first thought is, are you for real? After 2 6 months of not being able to deliver the best you can offer me is to refund 50%. This has to be one of the worst costumer service I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. I will never buy from them again and I will never recommend it to anyone, in fact I will tell people to avoid buying from them.

Really scratchy! Not comfortable! I wore it for one day and tried to return it and then was told I can’t return it because I wore it. Waste of money but from a different brand like Paka or something. Arms of Andes is terrible
