After the fire at Oxgate House no tenants have been refunded their deposits. Please do not choose Artistic Spaces as you could lose your business and all of your possessions.

If I could give 0 stars I would have. I signed up for a studio space in their new site in Deptford. The team running the operation are appalling. It is impossible to get hold of any one through emails and telephone calls. A couple days before I was due to move in I still did not have the required information requested a good 3 weeks prior so I pulled out. Now I am having to fight to get my deposit back. Again no one is answering my calls or responding to my emails. Avoid Artistic spaces. I am unsure what establishment they are runny. Incompetent.

We're disappointed by the content of your review, which does not accurately reflect what occurred.
You reserved a studio at our Deptford site and later chose to withdraw just days before your scheduled move-in — despite our team accommodating your request to amend our standard lease, which we undertook at our own cost. Your deposit was clearly stated as non-refundable, with any return being entirely at our discretion.
Nonetheless, we acted in good faith and, as a gesture of goodwill, processed a full refund via Credit Note CN-0158 on 5 May 2023, following director approval. We were under no obligation to return this deposit, especially after incurring legal and administrative costs due to your last-minute withdrawal.
Given these facts, your review is unfair and misleading. We remain committed to supporting genuine tenants professionally, and we’re pleased this matter was resolved properly despite the circumstances.

Absolute nightmare
These buildings are not safe or secure.
The landlords are negligent and rude, and do not care that they risk tenants personal safety and business property by not fulfilling their contractual obligations to provide appropriate security.
Multiple burglaries have happened across the Artistic Spaces sites, which the landlord does not care about nor seek to remedy by making the buildings safer.
“Service charges” are regularly increased despite the service levels being dangerously poor.
There are regular plumbing and electrical issues that the landlord does not take care of despite it being their responsibility.
Do not risk your business/ artistic practice/ personal safety at these locations!
