I passed my driving test on my 1st attempt many thanks to Dean at Astra Driving School! I am so beyond grateful my instructor was Dean as his lessons were invaluable! Dean massively boosted my confidence as a young driver and made me believe in myself. I really appreciate the time and care he put into every lesson, not only supporting me to pass my test he supported me to become a driver who is confident in understanding the road and challenging situations I may encounter. I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor (3rd times the charm they say)! From the very first lesson, Dean made me feel calm, confident, and comfortable behind the wheel. His patience, encouragement, and clear way of teaching helped me improve so much each week, and thanks to his support I passed my driving test with only 1 minor! Every lesson was professional, friendly, and enjoyable. Therefore, I will certainly miss my Tuesday afternoon lessons with Dean. I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dean to anyone who is looking for a fantastic driving instructor — especially if you’re a nervous beginner (he will definitely boost your self belief). Thank you again for helping me achieve such a big milestone in just 5 months 😊

Started my driving lesson last week, for context, I am a very nervous person 😂 my driving instructor Misbah shah was very kind and patient with me, thought me a lot. Today is my day 2 and I have already drove around local areas. Thanks A lot !!

I had a driving lesson today with Umer Aslam, and it was a really good experience. He was patient, easy to talk to, and explained everything in a simple and clear way. I felt more confident as the lesson went on because he gave helpful guidance without making things stressful. Overall, it was a smooth and positive session, and I’d definitely recommend him as an instructor.

I had a lovely experience learning with Abi from Astra driving school. She was incredibly patient, supportive, and taught me so well throughout all my lessons. She made me feel very comfortable and confident behind the wheel, and I genuinely enjoyed every lesson with her.

Abi was a massive help in helping me pass my driving test, and I’m so happy I cleared it successfully. I’m very grateful for all her support, guidance, and encouragement throughout the journey.

Atif is a fantastic instructor, he really explains everything very well and helps you gain confidence on the road, would highly recommend.

Just did my first lesson with Qamar Shah and couldn’t fault it, gives advice where needed and pays attention to the faults you do without putting your confidence down. Many more lessons to come ✔️

Astra Driving School offers excellent learning for new drivers. Shakil, my instructor, provided fantastic and engaging lessons that made the learning process enjoyable and effective. Highly recommended for anyone starting their driving journey!

Started taking my driving lessons around January 2026 i had an instructor called Shakil. Honestly he is one of the best instructors out there. I was very nervous starting off, he was very calm explained everything to me and provided me with alot of encouragment throughout my lessons. Very reliable. Honestly i would 100% recommend him for anyone in the area.

Shak is a very likeable driving instructor. Passed my test 1st time. Would highly recommend

My instructor Ejaz was professional and taught effectively. He was patient and encouraging. He also teaches in a way that truly encourages safe independent driving. Will be recommending him.

I worked and passed my test with Ayesha. After a previous bad experience I started working with Ayesha and she was amazing. She was so supportive and listened to the areas I felt less confident in! I passed after 3 months.

Arslan is a great guy, he was calm and taught me the basics and most important bits about driving in the Uk. All thanks to him I passed in my first Attempt. Thank you Arslan
