Defected devices

I didn't like Samsung anymore and I decided to try Asus fory mobile phone and probably wanted to use this company for laptops and other devices.
Unfortunately it has been incredibly disappointing, my zenfone 10 started having problems with the touch screen I contacted the company and after 1 month of discussions the told me they could give me a new one.
Unfortunately I don't havebanpther device and as they don't have a store on UK I would need to send the phone back and wait like 2 weeks to get a new one and I decided to keep it as it is
Unfortunately problems keep appearing, apps like netflix freeze when I rewind the video and Instagram freeze when going out from the app and going back in without closing it first from the back ground.
The headphones sometimes don't connect and as I said the touchscreen doesn't respond properly sometime
Also the camera keeps taking screenshot without any input from me even though I deactivated any automatic control or it just open by itself without me doing anything.
Thank you Asus 650pounds of rubbish, I will never buy anything else from you, I will buy future devices somewhere else, laptops phones headphones

If i could give a lower review I would - literally screws falling off the computer

If i could give a lower review I would. And I never write reviews. I purchased a laptop from Asus with full extended waranty. Within less than 6m, the screws are falling off. This should be no issue however because i bought extended warranty right? but they then charged me for 50£ to fix a clear manufacturing error, and took 1m to get it back to me. If that were the end of the story however, i'd be happy.... But within less than 2 months (I received the laptop back on May 6th), the same problem repeated itself! And when i sent it back to Asus, they are now trying to charge me 150£ for the repair! And then when i had the never to complain to their customer service by phone, he hung up on me! I had not even elevated my tone, i had merely stated when he refused to help me with my problem until a 48h period had elapsed, that this has been my worst customer experience ever. I am on the verge of buying a new laptop just so i never have to deal with this company again.

I am one of their ginny pigs


I am one of their ginny pigs, unfortunately. I only found out about it when I sent it out as I got the business name in the email and read the trust pilot reviews out of curiosity... I immediately got scared about that, unfortunately, it was too late... and I felt it on my skin last week in June 2024.
They quoted me 1300£ + for a motherboard replacement on a laptop that now it's worth half that money! Asus rog g513qm. Ridiculous amount to be paid ... I have now paid the 45£ towards the charge fee for the "inspection" and they are now impossible to reach after calls and emails!
Do you have any suggestions on how to deal with this problem?

Free return policy was fake!

Laptop was faulty. CS communication was extremely poor. ASUS refused to pay for the return labeled so I had to purchase a new box and bag and pay for the return to get a full refund. The free return policy is fake!

Crap company

Crap company, poor service, don't care about customers, can easily see why online reviews are so bad, regret buying a laptop from them. Wish I had bought a dell - much better, more reliable machines with strong customer service

Asus Noctua 4080 Super - Insanely quiet.

Recently bought a new Asus Noctua 4080 Super.

I was hoping to get a GPU that was quieter as my previous 3080ti 3 fan, sounded like a helicopter when even doing mild gaming. I have been seriously impressed with how quiet and cool this graphics card runs.

Good job Asus/Noctua, I look forward to further graphics card collaborations in the future.

Only negative point is 4 slots is huge and its a very heavy card.

my device is under warranty

my device is under warranty , fedex has failed to collect my device twice in the last 7 days at my inconvenienced at each attempt, I'm not getting any joy from ASUS support except apologises , which doesn't get my unit repaired , I've suggested they send me anew product and they cant do that . so how does a device get picked up for a repair when the company ASUS employ wont pick it up.

RMA Rog Flow Z13 Keyboard

RMA ref GBB4S50902. Asus Rog Flow Z13 keyboard started failing 8th may (common known issue) RMA process started 20th May. Asus wanted whole unit back & initially thought was going to Asus Service Centre but went to a third party company (a lot of negativity for this company on Trustpilot & youtube). Took 6GB of photo’s & videos of laptop & video of device working/screen etc & packing with foam board, air pillow & waterproof bag. Emails received keeping me informed & received device back with new keyboard, expected a Security tote box but was in a air pillow packaged in a cardboard box. No cosmetic damage & screw heads untouched. Although a positive experience if keyboard fails again will not risk sending main unit back & probably purchase keyboard from any other company & take this one apart to look at.

Asus gaming laptop.

Asus gaming laptop.. broke down with in 6 month sent it for repair and needed so much work done. In which they fixed. Then sound went a few months after that. The customer services are dreadful, not helpful at all and often presented with a bad attitude. They won't help at all. No laptop should become faulty under a year.

Worst Customer Service

FiveTech Ltd, the company behind the ASUS brand in the UK, demonstrated their incompetence yet again by cancelling not one, but two of my orders within a single week. Their excuse? Claiming oversold items and a complete lack of inventory. It's astounding how a supposedly large company can operate with such chaos, coupled with abysmal customer service and a profound ignorance about their own products. To add insult to injury, I was left waiting for several days for a refund via PayPal, with no compensation offered for the inconvenience caused. It's nothing short of a frustrating experience dealing with them, as they seem to have no qualms about brushing off their customers' concerns.

Beware

Beware: ASUS Repair Nightmare with Let Me Repair UK Limited
After encountering issues with my laptop, I promptly reached out to ASUS for repair assistance. Little did I know that this decision would lead me into a labyrinth of inefficiency and deceit. ASUS directed me to their outsourced repair partner, Let Me Repair UK Limited, and that's when the nightmare began.
Communication with ASUS regarding the status of my repair was abysmal. Responses were few and far between, leaving me in the dark about the progress of my device. It was apparent that ASUS lacked any semblance of accountability or transparency in handling repair inquiries.
But the horror didn't end there. Upon receiving my laptop back from Let Me Repair UK Limited, I discovered that not only was it still malfunctioning, but crucial components had been tampered with. Numerous reviews online echoed my sentiment, alleging that Let Me Repair UK Limited had a shady track record of illegally removing and replacing components with inferior alternatives.
To add insult to injury, my laptop was returned without its charger, a vital accessory for any user. It's hard not to see this as a deliberate act, especially considering my previous complaints about the lengthy repair process. Charging £45 for delivery only to receive an unrepaired laptop missing its charger is not just unacceptable—it's downright insulting.

In conclusion, ASUS's partnership with Let Me Repair UK Limited has proven to be a disastrous choice for their customers. The lack of communication, subpar repair services, and alleged unethical practices reflect poorly on ASUS's commitment to customer satisfaction. AVOID ASUS CHROMEBOOK


This device has ruined my whole life by automatically setting up stuff that I didn't ask for and now the only way to fix it is hiring a hacker to have access to all my privacy.
That's something else.

This useless laptop only is worth it if you want to use it to watch youtube and netflix, NOTHING ELSE.
Suddenly the system stops working and is opening random pages while I'm trying to work.

AVOID, the cheapest is the most expensive ever at the end.

Customer Services that is non existent

I ordered their Cloud storage but found it so clumsy and difficult to access their site that I cancelled it on the same day as per their conditions of sale. The cancellation procedure was difficult and their web site seems to be designed to frustrate the user and get them to give up in frustration. I eventually manage to find an on line cancellation form that I filled in but since then have had no acknowledgement and it is impossible to navigate their site to get any follow up. It advises links that don't work, pages won't open etc . For a computer company it is the pits!.I have not had my refund and no answer to repeated emails and twitter messages. Steer well clear if you want to preserve your sanity.

Laptop Broken After 13 Months!

I bought my son a laptop in October 2022 and it stopped working, the main board is broken to be precise, in November 2023. Not good value for money to have the thing for 13 months. Sent it to their repair partner company, worst decision ever. I sent the laptop to the repair company and have not had it back. Avoid.

AVOID! Dont get mistaken by laptop ranking in other website, check always the brand website

I really should have watched the reviews before ordering an ASUS laptop! I will always do that from now on.
This 1.5 out of 5 rating is really well deserved.
An absolute catastrophe this ASUS UK, i got distracted by the asus vivobook being on of the best laptops of 2023 but in fact we as customers have to consider the overall environment, customer service, after sales and especially customers genuine experience in short and middle term. To this effect i can see that this brand isnt really reliable, but the worse is the customer service. I didnt get delivered as i was abroad so i asked to cancel the order as they refused to change delivery address to one of my friend. Three times i asked them cancellation and three times they tried to push it through for delivery despite telling them no one home. Its myself who took the task to contact the transporter and tell them to return the item back to ASUS.
I received the refund back only yesterday 3 weeks after cancellation and 2 phone calls, over 10 emails and 3 live chats.
Also there is this intermediate thing, you order from ASUS but its laptop outlet website who manages the order, and they cant process refunds its another team which they cant themselves even internally reach by phone, only emails.
AVOID !!! Horrible experience!

I don't know why I do it to myself - Poor ASUS Technical Support

I don't know why I do it to myself - bought another ASUS motherboard.

Just bought an ASUS PRIME B650 Motherboard on Amazon and having a problem setting it up. Tried to register the board on the ASUS website and then remembered the problems I had the last time I tried to register an ASUS product and the time before that .....etc.

The website wont accept the serial number so I can't register the motherboard for technical support. Their automated telephone number tells you to go to the website. The Email contact details take you to the product page but of course you can't register your product ..... and on it goes.

I cannot believe ASUS still haven't sorted these problems out.

I will have one more attempt at registering the board and trying to contact ASUS and if that fails the motherboard goes back to Amazon and I will never buy an ASUS product again. My previous ASUS motherboard developed a few faults which I was able to work around but now back to an inability to contact ASUS yet again and I see people complaining about ASUS reliability.

If you are thinking of buying ASUS I would say, for motherboards at least, right now the experience may not meet your expectations.

It looks like ASUS don't care about bad reviews. How many people have ticked contact ASUS about the review option and so ASUS should know about the review yet they clearly don't respond. Anyone like to bet if ASUS will respond before the motherboard goes back to Amazon ?

ASUS Vivobook15" OLED.

One year ago I bought Asus Vivobook 15" OLED laptop. Exactly after a year and 2 days my display started flickering, to the point that it was impossible to see anything on it. So I contacted Asus Customer Service to arrange repair. Because my warranty finished 2 days ago they did not agree to repair it under warranty, lack of good gesture. So I decided to send it to Asus Repair Center to get estimate cost of repair. After few days they replied that it will cost me £365 to repair my display. I was shocked cos I bought new laptop for £450.
I hardly used my laptop over a year, maybe 2-3 hours a day just for internet browsing, no gaming at all. And my OLED display died after a year !!! Obviously I didn't agree to pay for repair (had to pay £45 their enormous postage price anyway) and have to buy new laptop now, definitely not Asus. So, to sum up, never more any ASUS product, very bad experience, avoid these crocks !!!

What a unhelpful company ASUS is !!

What a unhelpful company & completely ignorant of UK law !! My new Asus Chromebook has failed after 8 months !!
There's no way I can see to complain , just a technical helpline . They have agreed to repair my Chromebook but won't accept my Amazon order email as proof of purchase !! Just being as awkward as possible ! And their RMA Returns form is very difficult to fill in from a phone .. which of course I'm FORCED to do BECAUSE my ASUS Chromebook is BROKEN !!
I WILL NEVER BUY ASUS AGAIN !! RUBBISH PRODUCTS !!
