The care and service provided by Ade and Katherine at Hidden Hearing Shrewsbury is second to none. My hearing has declined to 25% and I suffer greatly with chronic, constant tinnitus which is increasing hard to manage. As a sufferer of sensory neural hearing loss, I am constantly reminded that there are many fellow sufferers living with this condition and the compromised quality of life it brings. Social situations have left me reclusive and anxious and I had begun to retreat into my own lonely world. However, on contacting Ade, who has also supplied me with inner-ear hearing aids for my outdoor occupation, he was able to book me in for an emergency consultation and recommended the Oticom Intent neural speed over-ear hearing aids. This has been a life saving solution for me! I can hear better than I have been able to in over two decades, especially in a social setting. The smart technology and scientific research behind these aids is phenomenal, and Ade is a true professional and expert audiologist, informing you both on your condition and making you fully aware of the capability of your new hearing aids. Furthermore, realising the seriousness of my condition, Ade has tuned the aids so that they dampen the tinnitus in volume and in the audio trickery it can play. This is groundbreaking, and provides me with the most peace I have had in years, alongside giving me hope and reassurance for the future. I’m forever grateful and urge anyone with similar difficulties to contact the branch.
Katherine on the front desk is swift, efficient, professional and most welcoming. She has never failed to both text and call to remind me of appointments and check up on aftercare and follow up procedures.
Together, these two exemplary individuals will take care of your health and wellbeing above and beyond all expectations. I thoroughly recommend.

Efficient, helpful and clear

Outstanding! Thought I was just having ear wax removal at their Shrewsbury shop. But they found a deeply buried dome cover from a hearing aid that must have been there for some time. I had no clue!. Some expert ferreting and out it came. Top job and many thanks to the team. Definitely recommend.

My husband & I called into the shop in the off chance of making a future appointment. We were met with a extremely friendly and welcoming lady who advised us of a cancellation and could fit my husband in for a consultation within 15mins. Alistair could only be described as professional, knowledgeable, extremely friendly, a real people person who put my husband completely at ease. Within 3 hrs my husband felt like he had got his life back and could hear a more normal sound (and his wife nagging), he felt more confident outdoors. We appreciate this is an ongoing situation but the future is much brighter belonging to our new family at Hidden Hearing. Thank you from us both.
