My sister complained that the herbs growing in small pots on her kitchen window sill didn't do well because of poor lighting. I had seen previous Auk commercials on the internet. When the Auk Mini 2 ads began, I ordered. It is small enough to be slipped into an otherwise inaccessible corner and its built-in lighting system works flawlessly. Plus, it looks great - a classy addition to her kitchen. Probably the most actually useful gift I have ever given her.

It took me quite a while to order my first Auk Mini 2 (currently own 3 units). Read reviews, researched other systems, etc. I have followed the unit's evolution for a couple of years and this model did it fir me.

The design is beautiful and fills me with joy. I have one in the living room, the other two in my home office area.

My experience has been wonderful with the support team, with a 2-day response time average. Thoroughly describing solutions and providing ideas, including recipes.

The application is useful to configure schedules and manually control the lights.

I recently received and planted 2 Auk systems. It was easy & they look so great in my kitchen! Looking forward to bountiful harvests for years to come & I feel really good purchasing such positive product from a great company!

I've been able to completely stop buying basil, cilantro, parsley, and thyme from the store now. All the herbs I grow are super tasty and very plentiful. Love this setup!

Nå har jeg en AUK mini 2, som oppleves å være av god kvalitet. Den fungerer helt som den skal og jeg har flott friske urter til enhver tid.

Very easy to set up. Design is minimalist but looks great. I bought the tomato and chili kit and after 5 weeks bunch of tomato flowers have bloomed. However the info about top soil is quite hard to find. Hopefully they will sell it soon.

Sleek design. Love the green with oak color. Easy to set up. Plants start growing quickly.

So far loving my AUK Mini 2. The process has been so easy to follow. I am considering another one for the ability to expand my growing!! Also excellent customer services answers email questions quickly.

I bought an Auk Mini expecting it to be a convenient way of growing fresh herbs indoors. Unfortunately, I have repeatedly had the same problem: the plants fail to thrive, turn brown/yellow and eventually die. I have followed the instructions and tried growing with the Auk more than once, but the same thing keeps happening.

There has also been an ongoing issue with mould on the growing medium and, more importantly, flies appearing in my home. To be clear, the mould itself isn’t my main complaint — it’s the repeated failure of the plants and the fact that I’m not getting the result this product is designed to provide.

I contacted Auk about the mould previously and have since contacted them again about the repeated plant failures. Their response has been that the plants could be affected by environmental factors such as temperature, humidity or air circulation.

Of course environmental conditions can affect plants, but I find it very disappointing that a product specifically designed for indoor growing can repeatedly fail and the response is essentially to suggest that something in my home may be causing it. They haven’t established that my growing environment is unsuitable; they have simply listed possible explanations.

I’ve also been offered replacement seeds, coco fibre and a top layer. I don’t want more growing materials. I’ve already tried the product repeatedly and have lost confidence in it.

To Auk’s credit, they have acknowledged that their own guarantee period doesn’t remove a customer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. However, despite this, they have so far refused my request to return the unit and are asking me to troubleshoot and try again.

I’m now trying to resolve this formally, but the whole experience has been incredibly frustrating. I bought a product to grow herbs indoors, followed the instructions and repeatedly ended up with dying plants, mould and flies — and I’m still being told to try again.

I would strongly recommend considering the customer service experience alongside the product itself before buying.

I’m quite amazed how fast my herbs are growing. This “garden box” is beautiful on my dining room cabinet…well thought out and high quality. Thinking of getting a second one for more herbs and tomatoes. This was an excellent purchase and the people behind the scenes are wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend.

I purchased our Auk for my husband, a retired landscape gardener. He was sceptical in the beginning, but is now an enthusiastic supporter. We've experimented with a few things, but have settled now on thyme, rosemary, green onions, and lettuce, all of which we started from existing garden plants. Giving thought to a second Auk for cherry tomatoes! Happy customers here!

Great communication and after a brief delay on part of the order, everything arrived and works great. Solid build construction and sleek looking design. Now my only problem is too many herbs to use!

A great product and design!
The only area of the overall experience that could use some work is..the price. My point being that due to the price, I will probably not buy another kit. However, if the cost had been 30% less, I may have purchased 2 originally, or possibly now, after receiving the first AUK. 😉

Great design do pleasing on the eye. Growing basil and parsley currenty . Will decinitely purchase another Auk mini !!!!

I have never been able to grow & sustain an herb garden until Auk!! I’ve grown such an abundance that I have to share some with family & friends. Such a sense of accomplishment!!

Bought this for my girlfriend, she loves it so much. It's well made, looks nice, and is easy to use. I'm also happy with their customer service.

The Auk2 mini is ideal for a worktop, window ledge etc. Ease of assembly and managing the growth makes it easy for anyone to have fresh produce. We choose chilli and tomatoes but will use it, after fruit all goes, for a seed propagator and transfer outside in the spring.
