Unique and beautiful wedding bands
We were browsing for wedding bands and fell in love with the unique designs from Austen & Blake. I wanted something vintage inspired and my partner wanted something understated and we found the perfect bands. Staff in Edinburgh shop were so helpful and we were so happy with the quality and price of our beautiful bands!

Highly recommend!
Dorota was so helpful and really worked with us to meet our design needs. Super friendly and knowledgeable. We looked at so many shops and rings over a few months and kept coming back to Austen and Blake for engagement and wedding bands. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful service from Dorota
Wonderful service from Dorota, Sophia, and all of the team - I came in having no idea about rings or jewellery, but Dorota was extremely welcoming, helpful, and professional in helping me design the perfect engagement ring. We came back to get a wedding band afterwards. Overall a very pleasant experience, and I can highly recommend them.

More than 5 stars!!
More than 5 stars! Dorota was fantastic and knew exactly what I might like for my engagement ring based on my description (even more than I did!) and showed me the perfect ring and it was easy to get within our budget even with a perfect lab grown diamond!! I'm obsessed with it, and very excited to return soon for our wedding bands. Service was amazing from the whole team, even when they were busy on a Saturday, super friendly and helpful and made us feel at ease making our decisions.

Sophia was extremely helpful throughout the engagement ring shopping process, making my decision a lot less stressful.
I also really appreciated the time taken once the ring arrived to talk through the diamond cut with my partner, which made the experience special :).

Perfect Customer Service and Consulting on the Rings
I would like to say that it is the first time in my life when I receive such a great people-based customer experience. Thank you very much Dorota. I am very happy that I made a choice to buy an engagement ring at this shop.
I had a slight delay with the delivery, but Dorota was informing me about the status of delivery all the time, supporting and pushing the Operations team to do it on time. And I received the ring on time in the end. Moreover, we designed the ring together with Dorota and it is really gorgeous and unique.

Substandard experience when trying on rings
Having already been in ROX (twinkle twinkle), we then went to Austen Blake.
If Rox feels Lux, Austen Blake feels bargain basement. Sales staff very busy trying to deal with multiple customers. Total lack of sparkle and fire when looking at the display. I gave very specific details of the high spec diamond and setting I was looking for.
We were seated at a table and asked to wait. There are 5 rings lying on that table with no member of staff present - aren't they worried about theft we thought. Obviously not as it turns out what they give you to try on and look at is glass, not diamond. That information wasn't offered, I had to ask what is wrong with this ring I'm looking at? Where is the fire? I cannot understand why anyone would select a ring without seeing the quality of their diamond offering. At the very least the staff member should be explaining that very clearly before the Customer has to ask. We promptly left. Outcome was a truly fabulous ring ordered from Rox and when we entered the same diamond details on the diamond factory website (who Austen Blake are selling) it came out at the same price, before their sale discounts, but totally different levels of service and quality of the experience.

At Austen and Blake we pride ourselves on offering the highest level of customer service, unfortunately you have mentioned on this occasion we’ve fallen below our usually high standards.
It is common practise to ensure we update all members who visit our showrooms that our items are CZ stones and brass samples as we operate as a made to order business company. This is to ensure the best pricing availablility on the market as our monitory funds are not held up in physical stock. We have received only positive feedback on this business module as it allows us to offer our customers the very best value for money.
We have hundreds of samples to display and show our customers all the varied shapes, designs and qualities we offer. This really gives our customers an idea of what their item will look once purchased by installing confidence that they have viewed as best as possible compared to other showrooms who made not be able to hold stock of every item.
We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with this procedure. We also price match if you do happen to find an item of similarity that is priced less elsewhere.
Our showrooms have been re notified of the importance of transparent information on our business module when customers visit the showroom and how import stock location and presentability is.
