My Austin Kemp Family Law solicitor had many years of experience and was broadly helpful through the process but her experience was outdated and she made some very costly errors including errors in forms submitted which ended up extending the process and costing a LOT more in time, stress and cost. SA did not advise me well of all the latest processes for digital communication with the courts which I believe also extended the process and increased cost. I DO NOT recommend SA or Austin Kemp - total cost result was 2-3 times national average. Recommend to seek a more modern solution such as Amicable, Divorce Surgery or consider the forthcoming separatespace once live

I used Austin Kemp Divorce Solicitors to handle my divorce, which was handled by Keith Wivell. And thinking back sometimes it looked endless, as if it was never going to be completed, but that was not Keith‘s fault. The fault lies with my ex-wife. She made it very hard for things to be sorted out. She fought me every step of the way through from retrieving personal items, selling the house to sorting out my Private Pension, but I finally got things sorted. And that was solely down to Keith, I would recommend Austin Kemp Divorce Solicitors to act for anyone, especially Keith Wivell he has done an excellent job. Now I am looking forward to a new life. i used Austin Kemp for my Divorce , my case was handled by Keith Wivell. Unfortunately i began divorce proceedings during Covid which meant it was longer and felt more complicated . My ex Husband did make things quite difficult too. But Keith was professional at all times and most importantly i felt he was sensitive to my situation . I communicated via email in the main but when things were more complicated i scheduled in a teams call usually taking approx 15- 30 mins . At every step of the journey Keith navigated me through with ease and i want to say a huge thank you to him for all that he did for me.

I would like to thank Jennifer Hollyer for all the hard work, and the effort she put into my case. I was going through a difficult time emotionally and Jennifer showed compassion and empathy for my situation, most importantly she believed me.   

Jennifer would go above and beyond to ensure there was no inaccuracies in my Statements that were submitted to Court, which meant she worked on evenings / weekends to get it right. She was very thorough and transparent throughout the duration of my Court proceedings.  

Jennifer provided an excellent service, where she was easily contactable and if she wasn’t available, she responded as soon as she could. I never had to follow up or chase Jennifer, she responded promptly.   

I had the best solicitor for my Child Contact case. It’s a shame, my engagement with Jennifer wasn’t in the best scenarios for me but I was very happy with my decision of reconnecting with her again after a previous engagement I had with her at a different Law Firm.

I recently used Austin Kemp for my divorce and it was all done efficiently and in a pleasant manner. I always dealt with the same person and that made the whole process easier. It was also all done online which meant no appointments needed to be made and therefore it was all very convenient. The necessary evil of payment was done using their online payment system which was very straightforward to use.
Not planning on getting divorced again but if I did I would happily use Austin Kemp again

I used Austin Kemp having been referred to them through an online service for my divorce and having agreed a financial settlement with my ex wife. Emma at Austin Kemp was very helpful throughout and I was able to pay them for a guidance check on the consent order before submitting it. All went through the courts with no problems and I’m pleased with the end result.

There are additional fees to pay if you rwspond to emails or ask a question which the agreement does state but there were times I didn’t understand why I was charged to reply to a question I was asked but on the whole the service is very good value. My whole divorce and consent order cost just under £2,000 all in which between my ex wife and myself is a bargain.

Kieth Wivell was helpful and professional in getting me through my divorce. He always gave me updates and helpful me understand everything I needed to do. Yes £420 an hour is a lot, but having faith in someone is priceless! You get what you pay for, and he helped me to achieve a great deal.

Used Austin Kemp to complete a Consent Order after divorce as didn’t do this during the divorce process. Case was handled by Emma Clowes who was incredibly helpful throughout, responding to my many questions and concerns. The process was quite long, however court timings played a part in that and Emma kept me up to date. The overall cost to complete the order was very competitive compared to prices I obtained from other solicitors. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
