Fast efficency booking with clear instructions and terms

I am very dissappointed
I booked the car through Skyscanner and your advert said the car was available through the terminal but when the invoice was emailed after booking t it now appears that the car is a shuttle ride away
Please explain?

autoeurope is my broker of choice but they need to make some improvements. for instance if you want to pay by debit card, you cannot as visa verification is not catered for.....it is catered for if you use a credit card. to try and sort it out from ireland, i had to phone to germany ! and it took me around 45 mins in total. secondly, i was tempted to book as a registered user. cost was 156.€ a day later, i checked again and price had come down to 129€. so being a "valued customer" meant nothing, answer was to cancel the first booking and then rebook

Easy booking process great rates and fast response times if you need additional information.

The Deposit required on Credit Card was higher than detailed on Auto Europe voucher.
Luckily on this occassion my credit card had enough available funds to cover the higher deposit requested.
But I had not budgeted for those extra funds to be unavailable, so it was annoying.

Have been using Auto Europe for many years in Europe and US/Canada. Always good prices, good customer service. This time was no different. Good range of cars and good prices. Quick and efficient booking process.

Auto Europe's site is easy to use and very clear with the prices.

No issue with AutoEurope, who are consistently excellent IMO, it’s a warning re Firefly.
I rented in Malaga airport. I noticed that the staff were very assertive in advising other customers that the insurance that they had in place “doesn’t cover the car with Firefly in Spain”, and urged them to buy the Firefly insurance.
On leaving the car back, I got done for a 1 cm black mark above the bumper, not a dent and it was a mark that would easily polish out. I hadn’t taken a photo of that exact spot, which was the “proof” they required to prove that I hadn’t caused this.
Don’t use Firefly unless you have no other option

Reliable site for my rentals for many years. I always go through all possible rental and comparison sites, but 9/10 times I end up booking on autoeurope.

Certain important information about my booking is NOT highlighted on the confirmation of booking email - including notably that there may be issues with providing checkin details to the company with which a booking has been made. IMO this is vital if the booking is for a morning or 48 hour pick up. I am left unnecessarily in doubt whether there will be an issue at the counter - because the landing page for the early checkin only informs me that "There is a problem with the booking. Please try again later".

Had a good experience booking my car. It all worked very well.

I called customer service and didnt even answer with hello. very poor custumer service.

Everything went smooth from the online booking to collecting the car at the airport. Great communication with Auto Europe and great customer service from Thrifty Cars who were the suppliers. Hats off to all for making this such a smooth and hassle-free experience!

It is easy to use and has a good selection of business to choose from.

flight into was delayed by half hour into Bologna Italy, NOLEGGIARE office was closed and number wasn't answered . had to get a taxi , returned to airport the following day to collect car and booking was cancelled no car available, looked for another full rental fee and no refund from original. still no refund despite email to Auto Europe so no car and Taxi bills for my stay in Italy. very poor
