Great car. The staff were helpful and I think I got an upgrade.

Purtroppo devo constatare la poca serietà di qualche addetto ai lavori,ho fatto presente con un video che mi hanno dato un auto che non avesse il pieno, l'ho inviato via mail l'ho inviato a un WhatsApp indicato da loro, niente non solo mi hanno addebitato la benzina che ho consumato (giusto) ma anche quella che non c'era quando mi hanno consegnato l'auto per di più aggiungendo € 15,00 per il "disturbo" per aver fatto loro carburante alla loro auto.
Faccio nuovamente presente che non ho ancora ricevuto la fattura € 259,99 comprensivo dell'assicurazione completa.
NON AVRANNO MAI PIÙ A CHE FARE CON ME.

I rented a car from Autovia at Florence Airport in August 2025. When I collected the vehicle, their own representative pointed out and documented two scratches (rear bumper and rear left door). I also recorded a full 360° video showing the same pre-existing damage.

When I returned the car, a different employee tried to charge me for those exact same scratches, ignoring both the official damage sheet and my photo/video evidence. He was rude, dismissive, and refused even to look at my proof, instead telling me to “send it to head office.” They then charged me €700 and are not replying to my many emails over several weeks.

If that wasn’t enough, Autovia then withdrew €100 from my credit card for a baby seat that was never provided. They even issued an invoice falsely claiming I had rented one for 10 days. I never received a baby seat at any point.

This is not just poor customer service — it is dishonest billing and appears to be a systematic attempt to extract money from customers through false charges.

I strongly advise avoiding Autovia entirely. Never share your credit card information with them. Their business practices are unfair, aggressive, and deeply untrustworthy. I am now disputing the charges through my credit card provider, the European Consumer Centre, and Italian consumer authorities.

Autovia: you cannot charge customers for damages and equipment that were never their responsibility.

Ieri, dopo l'inserimento della recensione negativa, sono finalmente stata contattata da una dipendente di Autovia che mi ha confermato l'errore nell'addebito e il conseguente rimborso previsto nei prossimi giorni.
Mi riservo di aggiornare di nuovo la recensione quando riceverò effettivamente l'accredito.

Una stella perché meno non si può, darei volentieri un punteggio negativo.
Due mesi dopo aver concluso il noleggio (ed aver inserito una recensione positiva), mi sento in dovere di mettere in guardia gli altri clienti. Dopo 10 giorni dalla consegna dell'auto mi è stato addebitato un importo sulla carta di credito, SENZA ALCUNA COMUNICAZIONE DA PARTE DELL'AZIENDA. Ho chiesto spiegazioni in agenzia, dove mi hanno detto che a loro non risultano problemi, e di scrivere al customer care perché probabilmante si trattava di un errore. A oltre un mese dalla prima email, dopo numerosi solleciti, non ho MAI ricevuto una risposta. Mi trovo costretta a coinvolgere un legale per riavere quanto indebitamente sottratto. EVITATE ASSOLUTAMENTE questa compagnia!!!!!!!!!

Renting a car at Peretola airport in Florence tends to be a challenge. But I was pleasantly surprised how friendly and helpful the staff at the pick up were. In particular Sara. And the car was decently clean, most scratches documented(three more were noticed and documented) and the return went easy and fast. Thus I can recommend this station.

Mi impresión es que su lucro no procede de la actividad propia y sí de prácticas que se acercan al delito de estafa.
Contrato vehículo desde España (con seguro TR español). Al recoger el vehículo me ofrecen un seguro que rechazó por duplicidad. Cuando entrego el coche todo ok (me dicen). Diez horas después me hacen un cargo por importe superior a 1000€ alegando desperfectos en una luna que no existen. Difícil demostrar nada (ya en España) y sin haber tomado la precaución de hacer fotografías de la entrega puesto que me habían dicho que todo estaba ok.
Supongo que entre el seguro español y los abogados correspondientes podrán evitar lo que considero una estafa.
En estos momentos, tras tres peticiones, sigo a la espera de que me remitan las fotografías de los presuntos daños que sí me facturan y cobran.

Lugar: Florencia (dicen aeropuerto, pero en los arrabales, a diez minutos en bus).

Edito. El martes (cinco días después del cargo en mi tarjeta, cuatro días después de solicitarlo hasta en cuatro ocasiones) me envían la fotografía de los formidables daños valorados en más de 1.000€. Actuación que, en España está entre los 50-100€, si no tienes seguro.
Es una lástima que no se puedan adjuntar imágenes a estos comentarios para que cada lector de esta opinión juzgase por sí mismo.
Cuestión previa importante: toda la praxis en la recogida del coche (cambio de vehículo una vez que se rechaza el seguro ofrecido por el arrendador por duplicidad) y en la entrega induce a sospechas tal y como indicaba al principio del comentario. Sospechas de artimañas para que el mismo “chinazo” en la luna origine ingresos recurrentes con varios usuarios (principalmente a los “espabilados” que optamos por rechazar el seguro que tan “amablemente” ofrecen en el mostrador).

È la prima volta che ho noleggiato un’auto. Il servizio è stato professionale. Il Signore è stato molto gentile e paziente. Mi ha offerto grande aiuto, spiegato le condizioni di noleggio in modo comprensibile e mi ha proposto la soluzione migliore.

Customer service was friendly, fast and efficient, both when picking up and returning the vehicle: well done!!

Areas for improvement:
1) They insisted too much, in an almost threatening tone, that I should take out their own accident insurance, even though my contract expressly stated that I already had one and that they should not offer me another.
2) The fuel tank was apparently full, but... it ran out in less than 40 km :(
