Avoid Autovia – Totally Dishonest

I rented a car from Autovia at Milan Airport (Autovia had a deal with Ryanair). Unfortunately, the car broke down after just 2 hours - it was only then that I realised it had 85,000 miles on the clock. After trying to restart the car (helped by a friendly lorry driver) I followed Autovia's instructions and called roadside assistance, who needed to jump-start the car. I then returned the car to Autovia immediately for a replacement (this cost me the day and a night in a hotel).

Under their own terms and conditions (Art 3 of the T&Cs you sign at the counter), breakdown assistance is covered, yet six weeks after I returned, they sent me an invoice for €250 plus fuel. They then deducted the money from my credit card without consent (they actually charged me twice).

Their justification for the charge was that THEY could find no issue with it, which is obviously baseless: why would I want to give up a day of my holiday if I could just restart the car (and I know a lot about cars).

This company is totally dishonest, and I am now pursuing legal action against them. Avoid them at all costs - they are the worst car rental company I have ever used.

Not recommended at all. Bad service, disrespectful. We received a very scratched car and broken headlights. We ordered a car with a large trunk and received a car with a small trunk.. Long wait for the shuttle and it was hard to find it. On the way back we waited for the clerks for more than an hour from 8:00 to 9:15 and none of them came. We had to leave a key and in the end we received a fine for fuel, even though we received the car with an empty tank. We sent them emails and they don't respond. I don't recommend doing business with them, run away.

Ottima esperienza con Autovia

Personale gentile ed efficiente auto in perfette condizioni.

Nonostante l'auto prenotata sul sito Autovia (Classe C) non fosse disponibile al momento del ritiro (credo per overbooking) mi è stata fornita comunque un'auto di categoria superiore senza costi aggiuntivi. Compagnia di noleggio seria ed attenta al cliente.

Pessimo servizio: navetta per il deposito attesa 30 minuti al terminal 1, Ci consegnano l'auto con il serbatoio completamente vuoto, e ci dicono che alla riconsegna dovrà essere vuoto. Chiaramente un assurdità, come ci si regola per riconsegnare l'auto con il serbatoio vuoto? Alla riconsegna il serbatoio ha più di mezzo pieno, alla nostra rimostranza l'addetta al banco ci dice che assolutamente non prevedono rimborsi e che la politica della Società è quella e basta. Mentre parlavo con l'impiegata, devo dire disponibile al dialogo e dispiaciuta per le nostre rimostranze, si avvicina un altro addetto, molto giovane e chiaramente non italiano che ci dice letteralmente "cosa si lamenta a fare? è una società Italiana.. cosa vuole? gli italiani sono cosi!"
Controlli scupolosissimi sull'auto alla ricerca maniacale di danni.
Mai più, specialmente per il comportamento del piccolo saputello che considera le società italiane poco affidabili, ma ci lavora dentro.

I would like to confirm that we were satisfied with the service provided by Autovia. It was particularly convenient that the shuttle bus took us from the airport to the Autovia location.

The car we rented, a Lancia Ypsilon, was a budget option, and it met our expectations accordingly. However, I would like to leave one remark regarding the additional insurance offered at the desk. While it is understandable to offer such options, the price of the additional insurance was extremely high. Since we had already purchased insurance during the reservation and did not perceive additional value in the offer, we decided not to purchase it.

Overall, we were pleased with the new condition of the car and the competitive price. Based on this positive experience, we plan to rent from Autovia again in the future.

Nulla è andato per il verso giusto, oltre 3 ore di attesa a Milano Malpensa, servizio pessimo e molto lento oltre che sgarbato.
Non consiglio assolutamente.
Arrivati alle 10:45 e alle 13:15 ci sono ancora 3 persone in fila prima di noi

Spesso a Busto Arsizio..l'unica pecca è che nn e stato giusto visto che avevo richiesto una seat ibiza mi avete consegnato una Opel Corsa con sedili passeggero e lato guida scomodissimo nn si riusciva a salire difficoltà enormi pur alzando il volante e il sedile tutto abbassato indietro...se ci sarà un seguito vi prego di nn assegnarmi Mai più quella macchina

È andato tutto bene. Bisogna solo fare un video dettagliato alla macchina prima di partire e inviarlo su wathsapp ad Autovia. Così al ritorno non si perde tempo inutile per controllare l'auto se ci sono stati danni. Ah, mi hanno dato un auto migliore rispetto a quella noleggiata. Ottimo! L'assicurazione full kasko forse conviene farla con loro perché si hanno più garanzie, costa un po' di più ma almeno si sta tranquilli.

Servizio eccellente, consegna auto veramente rapida. Condizioni veicolo non eccellenti, ma considerando l’importo pagato direi più’ che accettabile. Ritornerò.
