Avery's came to our rescue when we weren't getting the level of service we wanted from another agent (not informing us of visits and repeatedly and quickly suggesting we lowered the price) and we noticed an immediate positive impact. Their automated system emailed us about every visit and they always gave an update after. Jo was very friendly and professional with viewing details and updates. Daran has a wealth of experience, knows Weston like nobody else, was understanding, professional and positive.
Avery's have been we easy to deal with including the ladies in the office who took messages which were always actioned. We sold within 5 months. Thank you all.

Professional service with good marketing

The team at Avery provided a friendly and professional service. Daren talked us through the purchase process while Jo showed us around the property and answered any questions we had, even accommodating additional visits. The building surveyor they recommended provided a comprehensive report, which highlights the high standard that Avery provide.

My property situation was rather unusual - a very old cottage I'd been marketing for sale, prospective tenants from many miles away wanting to relocate and rent it, and myself (owner and landlord) unexpectedly experiencing ongoing health problems. Effective communication, professionalism and understanding were crucial, and that's what I received from Eva and Georgie, who went the extra mile throughout the process for a successful conclusion for everyone, and from the whole Avery team, who liaised whenever neccessary. I couldn't have wished for better service, practically or inter-personally, and I remain truly grateful. Thank you all very much.

Honest accurate advice about current sales market with friendly personal touch from Daren

I would not recommend this agency based on my experience as a tenant in a property my landlords have been trying to sell. The sale process has taken about 2.5 years, and during that time I’ve encountered multiple issues.
First, I found some staff — particularly Darren — to be quite rude in my interactions with them. Secondly, I often felt the agency did not have a clear or suitable strategy for marketing the property. In my view, this house would most likely appeal to a younger couple willing to invest in refurbishment, yet it seemed as though the agency were showing it to anyone without considering whether they were a realistic match. This gave me the impression that the quantity of viewings was prioritised over their quality.
There have also been concerns around communication and organisation. At one point I received an email containing the personal details of someone scheduled to view the property, which made me uneasy about how things were being handled. Earlier this year I was in a difficult personal situation and needed to reschedule a viewing, but I felt pressured to keep the appointment regardless, which did not feel appropriate. More recently, I had a similar experience: I clearly asked for viewings to take place Tuesday–Saturday (not Monday), yet I had to remind them three separate times.
All of this has left me very disappointed. I’ve had enough of the agency’s behaviour and I will be moving out soon. Once I leave, I intend to share my honest conclusions with my landlords and suggest that they consider using a different agency in the future

This estate agent managed the sale of my property in Weston Super Mare (WSM). The property sold on the first viewing, after that there was minimal contact from Avery's. There is nothing that makes Averys stand out from the other estate agents in WSM and with hindsight, I would have spent more time getting other quotes, with a more personal service.

Daren and his team sold my property quickly and always kept me informed of progress in what turned out to be quite a complicated sale and purchase.
