I booked a last minute holiday with a cheap deposit. My dad then had a stroke. So i couldnt go. I spoke to the team at awaze and said i would pay the remaining deposit on a specific date. Which i did and i have evidence of. Awaze then took me to court for the payment even though it had been made. Even with the judge ruling in my favour it has affected my credit rating which is now in the 300s. I habe been treated appaulingly. I have no way to fix this for myself. They did this to me whilst i was navigating everything with my dad. They shouldnt be able to have a company
Smithy House, Stainton, Penrith
My Family and I have just returned from Smithy House in Stainton, Penrith after a wonderful 4 day stay. The cottage was lovely, spotless and so well equipped with everything and more needed for a comfortable and cosy stay. The village was very picturesque and a great base to visit popular tourist spots. Also a big thank you to the owners Colin and Dame Dela Smith for keeping in contact and giving us all the information required. I would definitely recommend staying in this beautiful accommodation.
AWAZE så dårligt for husejere
Jeg har siden 2009 udlejet mit fritidshus igennem NOVASOL, og generelt vÊret rigtig godt tilfreds, i 2017 kÞbte vi endvidere et lille hus også på Langeland også dette med udlejning hos NOVASOL, også her var forlÞbet godt. Nu er NOVASOL så blevet en del af dette AWAZE, nu er alting blevet problematisk, det er komplet umuligt at kommunikere med dette AWAZE, ved e-mail henvendelser bliver der svaret med et autosvar, ingen yderligere besvarelse ved opringning bliver man lovet en tilbagevenden, det sker så heller ikke. Har nu forsÞgt at ophÊve kontrakten, det får jeg så heller ingen reaktion på. En så stor skam at NOVASOL nu er blevet et så ringe som udlejnings virksomhed for feriehusejere.

Avoid this circus they like to call a company! Haven or Park Dean Resorts are far better and you get a decent customer service with both. Even booking.com is better, but as for âawazeâthey are a complete laughable joke as a company, whether itâs hoseasons or cottages.com, honestly avoid them.

Ich habe mein Ferienhaus dieses Jahr Ìber Novasol (Awaze) vermieten lassen. Meine Erfahrungen sind erschreckend. Der ganze Service hat nicht funktioniert. Praktisch alle vertraglichen Zusicherungen wurden von Awaze nicht eingehalten. Weder wurde das Ferienhaus nach Abreise der GÀste gereinigt, noch wurde ÌberprÌft, ob alles im und am Haus in ordnung ist. Die Kommunikation war von Anfang an eine reine Katastrophe. Meine Kontaktversuche wurden fast grundsÀtzlich ignoriert. Von den ZustÀnden habe ich jetzt erst mehrere Monate spÀter erfahren - wieder erst auf zigmalige Nachfragen. Ich kann jedem Feriendomizil-Besitzer nur davon abraten, eine GeschÀftsbeziehung mit Awaze einzugehen.

Another 1-star experience here. Unfortunately, Novasol has 4 stars on Trustpilot and one only realizes how bad they are when searching for Awaze.
Uninhabitable house, but Novasol refuses to refund or help
We arrived to a Novasol holiday home on October 4th and found it completely without electricity due to the storm that occurred the night before â no heating, no lights, no ability to cook â making it uninhabitable. We immediately contacted Novasol. Their replies admitted the outage was due to local weather issues, but they refused to provide any alternative, compensation, or refund. Their emails are attached/screenshotted.
According to Novasolâs own General Terms & Conditions, if a booking cannot be completed due to reasons beyond Novasolâs control, the rent already paid must be refunded immediately. Despite this clear clause, Novasol denied responsibility and withheld our payment.
Because no solution was offered, we were forced to secure alternative accommodation at our own cost. We are also in direct contact with the property owner, who confirms that even after three days, the house remains uninhabitable, still without electricity. However, Novasol still refuses reimbursement.
Our experience shows Novasol does not act in accordance with its own regulations. Practical advice: if you book with Novasol, be aware that in case of utility failure, they may leave you without help, a refund, or a place to stay.
Lack of basic business responsibility
As a property owner, my advice is simple: never do business with Awaze/Novasol. Their customer support is non-existent, and our communications have been repeatedly ignored, leaving us unable to exercise our legal rights. When they finally respondâoften after more than two weeksâthey simply claim that a previous colleague failed to forward the emails. Save yourself the frustration: avoid them, as they will drain both your time and your money.

booked this break through hoseasons, in an autograph junior lodge, these are not lodges these are caravans, the property i was in was a carnaby highgrove, which on carnaby website is sold as a caravan, but is marketed by both hoseasons and percywood as a lodge, dont be fooled into thinking you are getting a lodge, caravan was small and very narrow in the hallway between lounge and bedrooms,couldnt have 4 adults in this van, heating in van broke at 5pm on Saturday night, contacted on site handyman who couldnt repair ,so no heating or hot water till sunday late afternoon, so couldnt use hot tub as we couldnt shower, all dishes and cutlery covered in food, dishwasher in van dont understand why dishes and cutlery cant be put through dishwasher between clients by cleaning staff,van very dusty and very cold on arrival as patio door would not fully close which i feel was a security risk, all these problems given to emergency callout on sat, only heating was been fixed,

I had booked a holiday cottage with this company, it was £800. per week. I paid a £60 deposit. I had to cancel 8months before I was due to go, they charged me nearly £300 to cancel, as I was on the phone to the caller, the price was going up, he said his manager was telling him the price will go up if I didn't hurry up and agree to the price,because they had my card details. I had to pay it. I don't know how they get away with it. After reading the reviews. I'm not the only one affected. I'm pleased for the customers that have had no issues, because there clearly are.
Awaze.com are an awful company
Awaze.com are an awful company. Their customer service is non existent and the staff are rude and most unhelpful. They did nothing to assist with the initial set up of the property and then put it online for reservations before they were instructed to do so. When I informed them to take the property down, they charged me £605 in fees, stating I had breached my contract. Do not use this company, they will only disappoint you and probably charge you astronomical fees for doing nothing!
Don't rent out your house through Awaze
Very poor communication and no flexibility! I waited for a response to my cancellation for 3 months. I definitely cannot recommend their service as a homeowner.

Terrible customer service
We booked a cottage with the daughter company cottages.com. When we arrived at the location we found the place was infested with bees. We asked for help by contacting both the owner and the customer service and got no help and, after our first call, also no response anymore. So basically we spent the holidays cozying up to bees. When we asked for a partial refund, they did not reply and when I called them they kept sending me to a different department and responding very non committaly. Terrible customer service, terrible company. I would really advise you to think twice before booking, feels like a scam to be honest.
