The rep wasn't very helpful as he was new to the job. I really wanted to speak to Dr. Rick since I am a lifer for chiropractic care. I did as much research as I possibly could. I really wanted to know the gauge of the steel springs. My mattress hasn't been shipped as of yet. So I'm praying over it as they build it out for me. I've struggled with mattresses all my adult life. 40 years. At this age I pray I've chosen rightly.

I'm currently in the process of purchasing a back science series 3 mattress and the series 3 flex adjustable base. I had a lot of questions so I emailed the support team a couple of times and they were very responsive and provided in-depth answers to my questions. They also offered to set me up with a call with Rick so he could answer additional questions. I did that and Rick called so quickly that I actually missed the call. I called him back the next day and he explained everything in depth and all of my questions were answered. Thus far this company's customer service cannot be beat. I'm very excited to receive my mattress and base.

My wife loves this mattress (series 3), I'm still undecided. Of course, I'm the one with the back problems, so I'm the picky one. She was having some hip/shoulder pain with our older mattress that is now gone with this one, so there's definitely some benefit. From my point of view, sometimes I feel it's great, other times I feel like I'm hot and it's sunken in too deep and I need to move to another "fresher" part of the mattress to sleep well.

I called to get more information before I decided to order the back science mattress. The customer service was amazing! They were so kind and helped me pick the best mattress for my back pain. Can’t wait to receive the mattress .

My Back Science bed and adjustable base arrived yesterday. The white glove service to set it up wasn't happening, so I emailed to see if I needed to do anything else and they told me they would take care of it, which they did that same day. I feel it would have been better if they had sent a company that would have two people to set it up, but the guy did a good enough job but struggled with the weight of this bed.
I am satisfied with the construction of this bed, it seems to be very well made, it feels good and operates sufficiently, although I'm stilling learning the remote control buttons. I love that it has a lumbar setting. The head and foot adjustments are great. I ordered the mattress cover, sheets, pillows, and pillow cases and they are made superbly and feel great. The noise level of the massage is a little louder than I expected, but tolerable. They advertised the massager as a wave effect, but I was expecting the massage to go from head to foot instead of just a whole body massage at once. I would suggest not advertising it as a wave effect. I would also prefer to be able to pick if I want to massage just the bottom of my body or just the top of my body to feel the massage part at a time. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the company and the way their bed is made and the cooperation I received in answering any of my questions.

Very easy to place order, received very friendly assistance by staff and some personal hand holding due to the complication of the delivery. Dr. Rick is a wonderful professional and has designed a great product.

After many years my wife and I have finally found a comfortable mattress and pillows. We have a split cal-king with adjustable frames. If I had it to do over again I would have gone back to a regular cal-king without the split. I think that would have improved the 'adaptive' feature of the mattress.

The owner, Dr Rick understands back issues and was extremely helpful and patient in picking the right mattress for me, if you are in the market for a new mattress and looking at Tempurpedic or any other memory foam or hybrid, you should not buy those and buy one of the beds from Back Science.
It is hard to find good companies with excellent products and awesome support.
I’d recommend the series 3, but they all felt comfortable, but I like extra firm, but it still lets my body sink into it a bit and can’t wait to go home and eat dinner and then go lay in my bed.

Easy to order experience, but didn’t give me a delivery timeline until I checked out. Other than that minor detail, it was great.

In the early 2000s, I slept on my stomach and began using an air bed from Sleep Something. Back then I pumped it up to over 80 and slept fine. My physician advised me to avoid sleeping on my stomach, so I trained myself to sleep on my side instead. The Sleep Something mattress only had one air bladder on each side so when I let air out so my shoulder would sink a little my hips started sinking causing back pain.
In 2018 I researched and found Air-Pedic air mattress with three air bladders per side. It was perfect supporting my hips while letting my shoulder sink in. Being an air bed it had disadvantages with the changing temps. I had to adjust it every night or it would be too soft hurting my back or too hard hurting my hips and shoulders.
A couple years ago I began a quest to find a non-air bed including memory foam, hybrid foam, and gel grid mattresses. None worked, so I returned to my reliable Air-Pedic.
Fast forward to a couple months ago and I ran across a Back Science internet add and thought “why not give it a try.” When the mattress arrived, I observed it was from the same company as my Air-Pedic shipped seven years ago. When I first slept on the mattress my back started hurting after a few days, so I informed Back Science and Dr Rick called me back to discuss mattress adjustment options. This is when I leaned that he founded both mattress companies. Being short-sighted I began telling him that the only mattress that seem to work for me were air beds. Then he said that if we can get this bed adjusted I wouldn’t have to worry about setting the correct air pressure every night. That would be heaven I thought. He sent some different type of foam that seems to work perfectly well.
Both mattresses that relieve my back pain are from Dr Rick. What are the odds? I highly recommend this mattress because Dr Rick actually tries to adjust the mattress to fit your individual needs.
