A very professional clinic I was dealt with exquisite care and attention got my teeth done in days and my stay was comfortable as well as entertaining! They checked whatever was needed for my anatomy, filled me up with necessary info. Thank you for everyone who helped me for my dental health, hope to come for a second treatment in the future!

Was an amazing experience

I would like to thank Dr. Bahar Doğan and her entire team for their excellent service and care. From the beginning to the end of my treatment, I felt comfortable, safe, and well looked after. The whole process was smooth and professional, and I’m very happy with my experience. Highly recommended!

I want to share my personal experience with Bahar Doğan Dental Clinic in Istanbul because I truly wish I had known about these problems before I chose this clinic.

Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, stressful, and painful.

During my treatment, I had several teeth extracted because I was told that the teeth had infections and could not be saved. I was told that extraction was necessary. I trusted the dental team and agreed to the treatment.

After the extractions, they placed implants for me. Unfortunately, one of the implants failed and fell out. I am still missing the tooth in that area.

Another implant they had placed was later described to me as being loose or shaking. Instead of solving the underlying problem, I was told that I needed another implant, and I paid additional money for it. They placed what I understood to be a replacement/fast implant, but unfortunately, that implant also failed after I returned to the United States.

This has been extremely difficult because I traveled back to America expecting my dental treatment to be completed and stable. Instead, I have had to deal with failed implants and additional dental problems from another country.

I also experienced an injury to the corner of my lip during the surgical treatment. My lip was cut during the procedure, and I still have a visible mark/scar in that area. I have photographs documenting this injury.

I also have photographs of the implant/tooth that failed and fell out. If anyone is considering treatment at this clinic and would like to understand my experience, I am willing to share my photographs and explain exactly what happened to me.

Another issue I experienced was communication after I returned to the United States. When I contacted the clinic about my problems and asked for help and follow-up, I did not receive the support I expected. This was especially upsetting because I had trusted them with extensive dental treatment.

I also noticed reviews from other people describing experiences that appeared similar to mine. When I asked the clinic about some of these reviews, I was told that those people were not their patients and were not in their patient records. I cannot independently verify those other people’s situations, so I can only speak for my own experience. However, this made me even more concerned and is one reason I decided to share my own story publicly.

I am not writing this review because I want to attack anyone. I am writing it because I want other patients to be very careful before making a decision about extensive dental treatment abroad.

Please do your own research. Ask questions about implant failure, bone evaluation, infection treatment, complications, follow-up after returning to your country, additional costs, and exactly what the warranty covers.

My experience was not what I expected, and I would not want another patient to experience the same problems without knowing about my experience first.

I have photographs and documentation of my treatment and complications, and I can provide them to anyone who genuinely wants to understand what happened to me.

Please be careful and do thorough research before choosing any dental clinic

Am Anfang war ich zufrieden, aber danach leider überhaupt nicht mehr.
1. Auf ein Implantat, das nicht richtig eingeheilt bzw. nicht fest war, wurde trotzdem ein Zahn gesetzt. Jetzt wackelt er.
2. Zwei meiner Zirkonkronen sind bereits gebrochen, obwohl noch nicht einmal zwei Jahre vergangen sind.
3. Die Rechnung, die ich erhalten habe, wurde von meiner Versicherung wegen fehlender Angaben nicht akzeptiert. Als ich von Wien aus Kontakt aufgenommen habe, wurde mir gesagt, dass alle meine Daten im System vorhanden seien und man mir eine korrekte Rechnung ausstellen könne, wenn ich vorbeikomme.
4. Bei meinem zweiten Besuch hieß es dann plötzlich, ich sei nicht im System, und ich wurde mit verschiedenen Ausreden abgewimmelt. Offenbar werden die Patientendaten bzw. Patientenakten nicht ordnungsgemäß geführt. Am Ende wurde ich mit meinen Problemen allein gelassen.

3. Sözlerinin arkasinda durmuyolar. Ikinci gidisimde sistemde yoksunuz falan filan degip gecistirdiler. Hasta kaydi tutmuyorlar! Magdur biraktilar.

Kisacasi, hersey parayi alana kadar güzel.

Als Angstpatient gekommen – mit großer Dankbarkeit gegangen!
Ich habe meine Zähne in der Klinik Dr. Bahar Doğan behandeln lassen: Implantate, Beschleifen der Zähne und Zirkoniumkronen. Als Angstpatient war ich vorher wirklich sehr besorgt und angespannt. Wer diese Angst kennt, weiß, wie viel Überwindung allein die Entscheidung für eine solche Behandlung kostet. Heute bin ich unglaublich froh, diesen Schritt gemacht zu haben.
Meine größte Sorge waren die Schmerzen – und genau diese Sorge hat sich bei mir während der Eingriffe nicht bestätigt. Die Betäubung hat sehr gut gewirkt, sodass ich keine Schmerzen hatte. Natürlich nimmt man die Vibrationen im Kiefer wahr, aber das ist etwas völlig anderes als Schmerz. Sobald ich gemerkt habe, dass es tatsächlich nicht wehtut, konnte ich deutlich loslassen und mich entspannen. Für mich als Angstpatient war das eine unglaublich erleichternde Erfahrung.
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die ruhige Art des behandelnden Arztes. Er strahlt eine unfassbare Ruhe aus, die sich auf mich übertragen hat. Gerade wenn man angespannt auf dem Behandlungsstuhl liegt, macht das einen riesigen Unterschied. Ich habe mich bei ihm wirklich in guten Händen gefühlt.
Auch das gesamte Team verdient ein großes Lob: vom herzlichen Empfang bis zum Service vor Ort. Nicht nur die Behandlung selbst, sondern auch der menschliche Umgang haben meinen Aufenthalt sehr positiv geprägt.
Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht an Özden! Deine herzliche Art und dein Engagement bleiben mir in Erinnerung. Du hast mir das Gefühl gegeben, nicht einfach nur ein weiterer Patient zu sein. Diese Wärme und persönliche Zuwendung sind etwas Besonderes – vielen lieben Dank dafür!
Ich war insgesamt fünf Tage in Istanbul und konnte nach den Behandlungen auch die Stadt kennenlernen. Dabei habe ich so viele herzliche Menschen erlebt. Die türkische Gastfreundschaft hat mich wirklich beeindruckt und meinen Aufenthalt zusätzlich zu etwas Besonderem gemacht.
Aus meiner persönlichen Erfahrung kann ich die Klinik von Herzen empfehlen – gerade auch Menschen, die mit großer Angst vor einer Zahnbehandlung stehen. Meine Sorgen wurden hier durch eine schmerzfreie Behandlung, Ruhe und einen herzlichen Umgang deutlich kleiner.

They broke my natural tooth and, instead of properly treating the damage, simply covered it with a crown. As a result, I have been in pain for months and now need to have my dental work completely redone. I went there to treat 1 tooth and ended up with 8 problematic teeth, months of pain, and significant additional expenses. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic. They report negative reviews to have them removed, so don’t trust only the positive reviews. I will be filing formal complaints with the appropriate authorities. In my experience, they take your money but provide poor service. They pressure you for payment from the beginning and then fail to complete the treatment within the timeframe they promised.

🚨🚨La pire clinique que j’ai eu le malheur de fréquenter. Tout est catastrophique : le personnel, les médecins, l’organisation, l’hygiène et même le matériel utilisé. On a vraiment l’impression que la sécurité et la santé des patients sont les dernières de leurs préoccupations.

L’hygiène est tout simplement honteuse. Les rendez-vous sont mal organisés et les conditions dans lesquelles les patients sont pris en charge sont inadmissibles. Franchement, si vous tenez à votre santé, à vos dents et à votre argent, passez votre chemin.

Dans mon cas, ils ont complètement ruiné mes dents. Même les dents qu’ils m’ont posées sont tombées quelques mois plus tard, alors que je n’avais fait aucun effort particulier avec elles. J’ai payé pour des soins qui n’ont même pas tenu quelques mois.

Je considère cette expérience comme l’une des pires de ma vie et je regrette sincèrement d’avoir fait confiance à cette clinique. J’ai vraiment eu de la chance de m’en sortir, mais je ne souhaite à personne de vivre ce que j’ai vécu.

En résumé : une expérience désastreuse du début à la fin. Pour moi, ce sont de véritables escrocs qui profitent de leurs patients pour leur prendre leur argent. À fuir absolument

Es war eine herausragende Entscheidung die ich getroffen habe, super gute Ärzte, sehr geduldig, ich bin eigentlich ein Angst Patient, aber diese Klinik gab mir so viel Sicherheit, das ich vergessen habe das ich bei einer Zahnarzt Klinik, Deutsche Übersetzerin, die mich wirklich rund um die Uhr betreut hat, jeder der sich die Zähnen machen lassen möchte kann ich nur ans Herz legen, geht zu dieser Praxis.
