The worst bank in Romania. They don't respect the customers line and they are rude. The apps are horrible and the customer service is deplorable. Avoid this bank.

Îmi pare rău că nu pot da stele minus. Cea mai proasta banca la care poți fi atât ca și persoana fizica cat si juridica. Groaznic!!!

Cannot even give 1 star. The worst bank ever in Romania. Called call centre and they were not able to help. The only reason I called the call centre because I live abroad in England and I am unable to go into the bank branch personally.
Call centre Cosmin very unprofessional and unhelpful. Not explaining what needed to be done just saying his unable to help.
I am going to close my account and will never bank with this bank again. I am also going to advise all my friends who bank with BT to close their accounts.
Very disappointed with their service, I would rate less then 1 star if it would be possible.

Nu sunt clientul lor, au moștenit contul meu OTP si nu vor să-mi dea banii pentru ca nu am acceptat sa actualizez datele la ei. Vor plăti pentru asta...banca de rahat.

Trăiesc în Budapesta și trebuie să spun că experiența mea cu Banca Transilvania este una extrem de dezamăgitoare. De când ați preluat OTP Bank, totul a devenit un haos total pentru firma mea. Nu pot să gestionez conturile online, cardul nu funcționează pentru plăți de publicitate, iar pe numărul meu de telefon din Ungaria nu primesc niciun fel de notificare – nici măcar când se schimbă IBAN-ul!

Este absolut inacceptabil ca în 2025 să existe un asemenea nivel slab de servicii bancare. Nu există transparență, nu există suport real pentru clienții care locuiesc în afara României, iar sistemele voastre sunt învechite și nefuncționale.

Dacă data viitoare când vin în România nu ați reușit să vă modernizați și să oferiți servicii decente, primul lucru pe care îl voi face va fi să închid toate conturile – personale și ale firmei – și să îmi mut toți banii în altă parte.

Aveți mult de învățat și de recuperat. Serviciile voastre NU sunt demne de anul 2025.

The level of disrespect of this bank is unheard of. Waiting hours on end when calling from abroad and the on one communication is inexistent.
I would conclude my relationship with BT who is not worth either my time of my patience.
Stay away from them.

Worts bank experience ever! I thought that OTP was a bad experience until I had to deal with Banca Transilvania.

1. Timp lung de așteptare 1 h pe ceas
2. Doamna Bianca Denisa de la customer service praf , nu știe nici măcar formulele de politețe !
3. Pentru ca nu trimit notificări acasă în aceea ce privește noul cont , card , etc .
4. Pentru ca nu poți accesa aplicația fără să te duci la ei la sediu .

RUȘINE Banca Transilvania !!!

Sunt mult in urma.Am fost client OTP dar am devenit client BT.Diferenta uriașă.Imi pare rău că nu mai este OTP.Dispret total fata de clienți,personal necalificat,bătaie de joc.TIPIC ROMANESC.NICI O STEA NU MERITATI..SA VA FIE RUSINE,BANCA DE 2 BANI

Horrible experience.I stood for an hour to solve a problem No chairs,the client has to stand up while the clerk is seated.Humiliating.Then,after the transactio,half solved,the bank called me to ask why I was moving my money.

Worst bank ever. 5-6 apps, they work like shit. Call center is a joke. The new AI feature is a bigger joke. Tried to contact them via email… no answer for a week.
If you nees to recover your password you need to go to an office to do that.

Worst Apps ever. Each time you need to reset a password you need to go to the bank. Furthermore they have like 5 different apps which don't really make sense. You log in to one of those, try do to something, it redirects you to a different one and so on. Freaking annoying. If you need to reset your password you need to be logged in. How the hell can I log in if I do not know the password? (forgot password send you straight to the bank) This happens when using BT 24 / BT Go using a company account. Furthermore, the app is so unintuitive. UX did a pretty messy job there. If you need help on creating a user friendly app, just ask for help guys or hire the right people for the job and stop wasting our time.
This will most certainly be my last interaction with them since there are lots of banks with top tier apps that actually work and are user-friendly.

The level of incompetence is matched only by callousness of the customer support. They have so many apps that would make Meta shy whilst it is unbelievable how all of them are shit. They also log you out without notice whilst the customer support can only tell you that there s nothing they can do except notify someone to call you NEXT DAY ...while you dont have acces to money with a to say the least arrogant tone of voice. You would say that is the same for any other bank but this is special. Avoid this bank at any cost.
