We have just come to the end of an amazing 11 day trip of Nepal.
From my initial contact, to arriving and all the way throughout our tour, Shankar has been amazing.

Shankar helped us to plan the most wonderful tour - Kathmandu, Bandipur, Chitwan, Sangorkot, Bandipur, Nagarkot.
At every step of the way, Shankar, the tour guides and our wonderful driver Saroj were available 24/7 to assist us. Basecamp Tours went above and beyond throughout the entire trip.

The areas we visited were truly amazing, we definitely got to see the best of Nepal. Such a beautiful country.

I am Kirthivasan travelled from Bahrain to Nepal from 27th Dec 24 to 2nd Jan 25. The tour package arranged by Base Camp Tours. The hotel accommodation and the logistics facilities provided are in line with the promises made. The entire trip went as scheduled. The team is capable of understanding the visitors needs. The vehicle and the driver provided to us was amazing. In case of any future travels would prefer to Choose Base Camp Tours.

Kumar Palli Varhukkal & family) from Muscat for 4 days trip from 30th July24 to 2nd Aug,24.
These people stick to their budget evenafter unpleasant experience from our client starting from landing at Katmandu till the departure and cost increase due to change of plan, posting of bad reviews

I won’t blame them but I feel my agent should have selected a more professional team , this is my third Nepal visit and this country is amazing with a great scenery and great people

Nepal is a beautiful country with so much to offer. We found the people of Nepal very friendly and welcoming, and the World Heritage sites are spectacular.
We received exceptional service from the team at Basecamp Tours, especially from Shankar and Sandeep, putting together an amazing schedule for us, and guiding us every step of the way. Even after our tour was completed and we ran into trouble with one of our visas for India, they came to our rescue, organising additional flights and hotel for us. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will definitely go through them again for my next visit.

A big thanks to Basecamp Tours on my first visit to Kathmandu. Being a solo lady traveller, I can't ask for anything more. Shankar from the 1st day I started to enquire about the planning for the trip till the day I left kathmandu. His service and respond is excellent! Not only he make sure my trip is enjoyable , he makes sure my safety is his priority. During the trip I decided to make some changes to the itinerary, he was very patient to recommend and efficiently coordinate with the representatives for the changes 🙏 I highly recommend Basecamp Tours. Thank you for the memorable first visit.

Exceptional experience made perfect because of my guide Dan. He was the difference that made the trek tough but enjoyable. I only had five days so Dan had to organise effectively. He delivered brilliantly.

I did the Pikey Peak trek with Basecamp Tours in September 2022. Unfortunately, I had altitude sickness on the way and the agency arranged for a rescue helicopter, which I appreciate.
However, I was very DISAPPOINTED by the way they handled the communication with the insurance company and that they haven't included me in the emails, although I asked them to do so.
Basecamp Tours EXAGGERATED the cost to the insurance company and asked for additional charges for services that they haven't provided.
For example, 350$ for transportation from the teahouse to the helicopter site which was not realistic, since we walked all the way to the helicopter site.
290$ for communication charges which seemed illogical and exceeded more than 1500% of the average rates in Nepal. I have been to Nepal and phone calls cost a lot less.
1999$ for service charge of which I paid 1500$. It seemed quite odd and suspicious that they have requested this amount again from the insurance company.
They claimed the cost of 3.25 hours for the helicopter which also seemed illogical because the flight was around 0.5 hour. Let's assume that the cost included a round trip then maybe, they should have charged 2 hours.
Additionally, Basecamp Tours promised us services that they haven't provided.
For example, they promised us a private jeep from Kathmandu to Dhap but the jeep was public and the driver picked up random people on the way.
It was also very clear that their team didn't not have the right trekking experience and did not provide us with the right guidance during the briefing session.
For example, they said a light jacket was enough which was not the case. We needed to wear several layers and a sleeping bag to feel warm. They underestimated the cold weather in the mountains which was an indication that the person who gave us the briefing did not have enough trekking experience and may have not been to the mountains before.
During the briefing, no one mentioned anything about altitude sickness, what are the symptoms and how to avoid them, and during the trek, the team did not have the right equipment to help someone with altitude sickness. The guide was very helpful and did everything he can to help but unfortunately the agency wasn't supportive enough.
Although, we paid 1500$ for three days trek, the guide didn't have enough budget to get us clean water or more food or internet. We had to pay extra for these services and tip the teahouse owners.
I regret to say that I will not use their services for trekking again and will not recommend them. I was very hesitant to put this feedback online, but I felt it was necessary.🫤

Our first multi-day hike was a real success. With the goal of seeing Namche Bazar and Mount Everest as well as Lhotse, we set off from Kathmandu to Lukla. After first our flight from Kathmandu was cancelled, we were able to fly to Lukla by helicopter the next day for a fair extra charge. The team of Base Camp Tours helped us a lot and organized everything. Once we arrived in Lukla, we met our guide Nima and our Sherpa Sonam. They welcomed us warmly and supported us super on our trek. Through them we could get deeper into the Nepalese culture and local life. Along the way, Nima and Sonam not only supported us during the hike, but also taught us a lot about Nepal, the culture and the people. We enjoyed the trek very much and are very happy to have done our first long trek with the team of Base Camp Tours and Nima and Sonam. We can really recommend the service.

We are incredibly happy with the service and the trek from Base Camp Tours. It was our first multi-day hike, so we were a bit excited about how everything would go and how we would manage the hike. The team of Base Camp Tours helped us a lot. After first our flight from Kathmandu was cancelled, we were able to fly to Lukla by helicopter the next day for a fair extra charge. Here our guide Nima and our Sherpa Sonam welcomed us warmly. Along the way, Nima and Sonam not only helped us with the trek, but also taught us a lot about Nepal, the culture and the people. Language skills were also taught. We enjoyed the hike very much and can highly recommend the team of Base Camp Tours as well as Nima and Sonam. Through the hike, the two have really grown to our hearts, even become friends.

After reaching Kathmandu on 13th we moved to board our Lukla flight on 14th May. Here we met Mr Passang, our guide brother for the whole trek. This was our first long trek which lasted for almost a week. Though we were a little doubtful and tensed, Passang made the journey easy. His smiling face, continuous encouragement and helpfulness provided us enough strength to reach Namche Bazar on our second day crossing the steep mountains. We enjoyed the total tour utmost and wherever we face any problem Base Camp Tours and its staffs were there. We are so overwhelmed that before leaving Kathmandu we are again planning to come here again. Thank you so much Base Camp Tours and a special thanks to our beloved guide Pasang brother. Cheers..

Base camp tours planned for our trip to Pashupatinath and Muktinath Mandirs. In addition Mount flight over Himalayas. Flawlessly executed by Base Camp Tours and support through out the trip was top notch. Me and my brother had a complete package last week to visit MUKTHINATH TEMPLE DARSHAN from Katmendu Airport to Katmendu Airport (via Pokhra to Jomsom to Muktinath & back) thru Air. All the services (including Hotel, Transport etc.,) provided by BASECAMP TOURS & Mr.Shankar Bhatt are really excellent. We really enjoyed a lot in this trip without any issues. We would like to have more trips like this and we strongly recommend THE BASECAMP TOURS. Thank you SIR.

My cousin Payal n myself took the tour to Annapurna Base Camp with Basecamp tours Nepal and all the detailed arrangements were so excellent which made our trip so memorable.
.Our guide Bibek and Sunder were so good and took care of us.
Mr. Shiva did the ground arrangements in Pokhara ,was very helpful.
Mr. Shankar n Mr. Kapil were great help in Kathmandu.
I truly recommend Base Camp tours for Nepal sightseeing.

Mount Everest Tour was not organized
Even tickets are not booked. We keep calling to Basecamp team but Mr.Kapil was saying only 2 words "Wait Wait" &"Wait 2 minutes "

Mr.Deepak from India is very arrogant
He even not share our tickets at the airport & blaming us that why I am so hiper
Tourist will definitely arrngy if we are calling sine 5:15 AM from the airport & no one is telling us that the tickets are booked or not. We keep calling them but Deepak is very rude with us even didn't say sorry after the big mess up done by his team
We took the help of Airport police at the last moment
Mr.Shankar is also blaming us & very wrong way he messaged me "You are smart"
After sometime he says sorry

But the whole Basecamp team unnecessarily blame us
No none have courtesy to inform that the tickets are not booked & we keep calling them since 5 to 6:30 am & 8 to 9 am
Please don't book your tour from this group

I visited nepal with Basecamp tours in Dec 2022, it was great trip planned. The hotels provided were very good. The best part was whole team of basecamp personally takes care of everything if there is any problem faced by client and resolves it asap. The driver " Ram" (Whole trip), "Aravind" and "Chirangivi" (For Muktinath) were very humble and good people. All of then ensured that we have proper time at sightseeing and never rushed us. Surely recommending Basecamp tours for nepal tour. Just one recommendation is that drivers should be well versed with Hindi or english as we face some communication issues sometime because of language barrier.
Finally three cheers for Shankar, Kapil, Shiva (Nepal office) and Deepak (india office) for wonderful planning and executing the trip.
