Shocking AVOID these people

Shocking AVOID these people. In my case website was showerdoorstore
Concerns started when product not delivered on Friday 8 Nov by TNT as promised in a txt. Their own "helpline" is a number with recorded message and no means to leave my own message. I rang TNT on Saturday and they had no record of any consignments to our postcode. Email sent to chase up - blamed supplier and said would get back to me. Not delivered Mon 11 Nov either so I sent another followup, getting angry email asking them to call back. Check on here and a list of complaints as long as your arm with same theme- poor dishonest standards, zero customer care. Fortunately I bank with First Direct and they say they will recover my £209 in a week or so even though paid with debit card not credit card. No excuse for such poor service.

DONT BUY from bathpanelstore.co.uk

I ordered a bath panel with lip.
I received a bath panel with no lip.
It also has a small dent in one corner.
There were no instructions.
I have tried emailing about 6 times, with no reply!!
I have phoned about 15 times but it says they are busy which I do not believe at all and tells you to msg them. It’s just their way of not having to take your call because they know all orders get placed on line.
The msging service classed as “live chat” doesn’t work either.
I am fuming with this company. I wish I had read the reviews first as there are loads of people slating them and their customer services.
So bathpanelstore.co.uk get in touch. You have all my details and I shan’t be going away even if I have to contact watchdog!!
UPDATE...... BATHPANELSTORE.CO.UK HAVE BLOCKED MY EMAILS WITH NO OFFER OF SORTING OUT THEIR MISTAKE. I SHALL NOW GET ONTO CONSUMER RIGHTS TO FILE A COMPLAINT.

Item Problems

charged me premium prices for 4 items. 2 items have not arrived and 1 item is the wrong size to what was ordered. requesting a refund.

Beware!

The ordering process was easy and this was the only company I could find that offered a made to measure service.

The email received when I placed my order (Order Number 30927/100319/40) said that I would be notified when the panel had left the warehouse. I didn't receive a notification and when I called I realised that the phone number was just a link to a recorded message. I emailed and received an instant response to say that the panel was out for delivery.

The panel arrived shortly afterwards and was exactly as I ordered. It seems to be well made - time will tell! However, there was a dent one of the long edges (possibly incurred during transit as the packaging was not particularly strong). I immediately emailed with photo evidence, advising that I would keep the panel (due to timeframes for work being carried out) but that I would like a partial refund.

I have emailed 3 times so far - no response. I then found these reviews describing similar experiences.

Update: After 5 emails I did receive an email confirming a partial refund had been made to my card. The refund has been received.

I was terrified after reading these…

I was terrified after reading these reviews as I had already ordered my bath panel. However I found the service brilliant - great communication beforehand whilst I was choosing what to buy. The bath panel is great quality and was delivered on my chosen day. The only complaint I have is that the panel is not packed enough - just one bit of cardboard protects your panel whilst in transit. This cardboard was damaged and had a hole in It which due to no other protection meant I have a scratch on my brand new panel. Luckily it is small so I can live with it, but it could have been much worse.

Flabbergasted

I agree with many other reviewers I cannot believe how BAD this company is for overall service and communication. How they keep trading beggars belief! I ordered and paid over £330 for a bespoke panel with LED lights on Oct 14th, this payment was withdrawn from my bank the next day. The delivery was promised within 10 days, after 2 weeks no show, so I commenced e mailing as the phone is always redirected to an answering machine. I received a promised delivery date in response to my first e mail which never appeared and no more replies to a plethora of e mails that I sent over the next 6 weeks. I gave up hope and was just about to instruct my bank to start proceeding the refund when I received an e mail to state the goods would arrive Sat am! mid December and would I be able to receive it!!
I finally received my panel 8 weeks later than expected. Please only use this “outfit” if you reside within reasonable travelling distance so you would be able to call in and demand your goods as I would have done, but a 600 mile round trip for me was a bit of a trek and add more expense to this first and definitely last experience with this company.

Avoid!

I'm normally so careful checking on companies before I buy, but I let myself down here.
No bath panel and the company will not respond to phone calls, emails or web chats.
Nothing.
I have no idea if I am going to receive the goods I have paid for or whether I should buy another panel and chase this lot up via Citizens Advice and Trading standards.
Do not buy from them. Dreadful experience.

Ordered a bespoke bath panel on 3…

Ordered a bespoke bath panel on 3 September 08 now 01 November still not delivered all I’ve had is excuses “ factory moved ,show room under refurbishment “ was quoted 5-7 days! fitted a bathroom for my customer all finished except bath panel! I am really embarrassed ,he is now refusing my final payment until bath panel fitted, I have now asked for a refund from Brendan, not holding my breath on that one.

Used this company as had exactly what I needed and limited options elsewhere

Used this company in spite of some negative reviews on this site. Seemed to have a good selection of panel options with good description details. Went ahead and ordered, received an automated email giving me a delivery date that I specified (need at least 5 working days). Received another email a couple of days later saying the panel was now being manufactured. The panel wasn't delivered on the day specified but arrived the next day. Well packaged and panel has an excellent finish . Shame they missed the delivery date, but very happy with panel.

Nice Panel - Non existant communication/customer service

Bath Panel is lovely but as all other reviews communication is non existant. You order your product from a website which states delivery in 5 days and you don't get that. You contact them and Brendan will answer your first email. Then you get nothing. No delivery date, no feedback, the bath panel just turns up one day unannounced and behind schedule massively. They blame their couriers apparently but I spoke with the courier and the collection was actually the day before so it was nothing to do with the courier. Would I use them again? If they responded to emails or actually answered the phone yes but as it stands I wouldn't recommend or use them again. Fix your website to state delivery 14 days after order and then you'd have so much less hassle and unhappy customers.

Zero communication

Zero communication. This may be a good company if you visit to get your goods, but for internet ordering, forget it. I can't get even basic information about the product I want and don't want to order in case something doesn't fit. Buying blind in the hope that they might change it later seems wishful thinking - if they can't be bothered to reply to a query, why would they respond to a returns request? Phone and web-chat just won't elicit any response at all. E-mails might, but I think their own software blocks receipt, so they may not even be receiving these. Life is too short - go somewhere else`!

Terrible Service....

Terrible Service, Ignored all emails - I bought a bespoke made to measure silver gloss panel, £198.00. Delivered on time but when opened it was warped. The contact was very difficult, emails remained unresponded yo and it took over a week to agree a replacement. A TNT pick up was arranged and on the paperwork it happened to have the CEO Alan's number on it.... I called him and we agreed a replacement. It arrived on time damaged !!!! Since then they offered £40.00 back and since ignored my emails. Very unprofessional and not a care in the world that I paid £200 for damaged goods !! You should be ashamed of yourselves .... never use them !!

Bespoke length bath panel - failed within 5 months

I purchased a bespoke length bath panel in Feb 17 along with hidden fixings.
We fitted it without compromising the finish, however in July we noticed that water had ingress had caused the panel to bubble in 3 places.
When I approached them they told me that it hadn’t been fitted properly.
Despite a number of emails they have ignored my request for a refund (clearly I don’t want a replacement). I am now left with an unslightly bath panel which I had to pay a professional to fit.
I wouldn’t recommend this type of bath panel or this company.

Well several weeks ago we read the …

Well several weeks ago we read the reviews on Trust Pilot and thought, as many others have done, does this company really exist? As we wanted to visit friends in Kent anyhow, we decided to go and see for ourselves (we live near Watford about 70 miles away) and we were impressed by the scale of the company, the displays etc. and indeed by the very lovely Brendan who turned into our hero!

My husband measured to the nth degree the size and shape that the panels should be. They were nowhere near standard so had to be made with slightly wonky sides.

Brendan provided us with all sorts of materials including an extra fixing kit and some of the anthracite covering so that my husband could fix it to an shallow inner plinth and one of the uprights which would be slightly exposed. And Brendan also gave us a discount too as we had made the trek over there.

Sadly the screws which were delivered with the panels were for the thicker 15mm panels (we needed 10mm panels) and Keith didn't notice until he turned them over and discovered the screws poking through to the front. Calamity! But Brendan came to the rescue and remade both panels at no cost to ourselves. What a STAR.

All this sounds great but as many have said there were communication issues. They dont answer the phone: dont even try that. But they DO respond to emails when they get them. Because they dont always receive the emails. I found that if you sent emails attached to a thread of emails they didnt always arrive. I sent two emails from Spain and they disappeared completely. If you dont get an automated response which says "Your email has been received" within 5 minutes of sending it, then send another one on a separate thread.

The panels are finally fixed and look GREAT so go for it is my advice! Thank you Brendan for all your help!

Have they gone out of business?

I ordered some samples from the Bath Panel Store, online, and was delighted when they arrived the next day. I thought how lucky I was to find a company who reacted to customer requests so quickly.

However, when I sent an email to them with a couple of queries, they didn't reply. I sent 3 more emails over the course of a couple of weeks. Still no reply. I then tried to telephone them (several times) and they didn't answer the phone. Also, the online chat window doesn't work either.

I am forced to assume they are no longer trading...

A dreadful company

A dreadful company. After requesting an exchange of the bath panels I'd purchased within their stated return period, I heard nothing. I then returned my panels and requested a refund, again well within their stated return period, and again no response. I was only able to get a refund through my credit card company (spent more than £155). I'd recommend avoiding at all costs.

Warped panels and lack of response from company

When the carpenter fixed the panels I ordered (far from cheap at £150 after fixing kit and delivery) it was clear that the MDF was warped. The BathPanelStore (Brendan) responded quickly to my first email but have gone deadly silent in responding to my emails after I confirmed that the carpenter DID follow the instructions. I would stay well clear of this company - I haven't experienced such poor customer service in any of the other dealings I've head in redoing our house.
