I called to place an online purchased for the Lakeview Woodlake 43-Inch Rectangle Wood Burning Fire Pit - Black - SC-946-NST from BBQGuys, as I truly needed support to get a better understanding of the actual size, and proper setup.
Mike Dodd answered my call and OMG! He was absolutely amazing. This has been one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had.

Mike was extremely knowledgeable on the fire pit I purchased, and gave me exact measurements of the inner pit, which allowed me to imagine the flame size; furthermore, he gave examples of different types of firewood and how to research them. Mike also provided an estimated time of delivery and insurance options.

Not a fan. Paid them almost $5000 and got a Coyote grill with a sensor that did not work. They told me to go to make a warranty claim on the manufacturer. This is for a sensor that could be mailed in an envelope. In my world, if you buy something from a seller, and they ship something defective, they should make it right.

Tried to purchase a pellet smoker from BBQ Guys (BBQG). They claimed order was shipped but the tracking number linked to…nothing. Called BBQG customer support numerous times. Polite and courteous and said they would research the issue and follow up with us. Well, after at least THREE different contacts BBQG did NOT follow up. We finally called and cancelled the order after the smoker did not arrive by the alleged delivery window. The entire experience was beyond frustrating. We used BBQG in the past with no problems but never again.

FAULTY DESIGN
The other day my 3 year old Lion grill, I paid $1,800 for blew up in my face. The glass temperature gauge exploded and cut my entire face up. Thank God I had glasses on or it would have blinded me. I clean my grill every few weeks and I understand flare ups can happen, but in my 30+ years of grilling I’ve never had a grill explode. All the internal elements melted and the grill is no longer usable. I called Lion and all they said was it’s not meant to handle flare ups. They did not ask if I was ok or have any concern for their customers safety. I also called BBQ Guys and they said sorry we can't help you. You must call Lion. Even though I spent over 5K on a grill set up. I’ve also asked several people that have been grilling for years and no one has ever had something like this happen. Do not buy this grill the MFR does not stand behind the product or care about their reputation.

Easy to buy and checkout. Rapid delivery of both the Victory Griddle and the accessories! The Victory Griddle is an amazing flattop grill and extremely high quality and value. We love the coating on the griddle top which makes the griddle very easy to clean and maintain. The cart is very solid and stable.

Easy ordering process and order came quickly considering we are across the country.

I was skeptical if the smoker box would work with my electric grill. I followed the directions, prepared my chicken and started grilling. My chicken halves were totally amazing! The hickory smoked flavor was perfect I am so glad I threw caution to the wind and bought the the smoke box.

Terrible service ! They sold me a damage ice maker perlick for $6k and now they are not responding and didn’t want to replace it ! Has been 2 month and I don’t have my ice maker ! They stole my money !

In Dec 2022, I bought a Green Mountain Trek grill for our RV. The electronics failed on July 15, 2023 and support from GMG has been terrible. The warranty states I should work through the point of purchase which was BBQ GUYS. WOW! what a terrible experience. The only person who responds is in the Sales area and when I explained I cannot reach anyone in service / support, she transfers me to the same extension that will not pick up or take messages. They will not return emails as well. I have been very patient with this company and would l have liked to have fixed the problem but now, all I want is my money back. Doubtful that will happen. Legal route is only way remaining I guess.

Not specifically a review of BBQ Guys, but they are obviously pushing Weber Smokefire. Other places on web have scathing reviews on a very flawed grill. Their reviews are all rosy. I wrote of a problem I was having and I noticed it didn’t get published. I don’t think they are completely honest.

The website was easy to navigate. Ordering was simple and deliver was smooth and transparent. Delivery was great!

Their return policy is complicated and inefficient.
Don't buy gifts from this business if there is even a slight chance that it might need to be returned.

I was able to get everything I needed on sale for a good price. Very fast shipping

This was the third time I've ordered from BBQGuys. Every order has gone smoothly. Fast shipping too! This last time was for our old Traeger, which needed a couple of parts to keep it working. Good prices. And we are smoking again!
