Great people and great properties, photos are 2nd to none!

I was buying a home being sold by Bear (Leigh On Sea offices) and want to warn anyone else that their communication is absolutely dire. In the end I contacted the seller directly as Megan never returned my emails or calls. Abysmal.

My first move in nearly 20 years and Sydney was a life saver for me. Always at the end of the phone or email to support me if I had concerns or questions.
With such a friendly, professional manner, Sydney was always extremely helpful to guide me through selling my home.

We instructed Bear to sell our house and the whole process on their side was very smooth. From Joe coming round initially and also taking photos, to Ellie and Sean organising viewings, and especially to Leigh-Anne who was absolutely brilliant in pushing everything through and chasing things for us.

We would definitely recommend Bear Estate Agents, to anyone looking to sell their property.

Wow what can I say!!? I had a great experience with Bear estates from start to finish. I would definitely recommend. The whole team were amazing and always at the end of the phone to help. I would like to say a special thanks to Ricky who took great photos and sold our house. Even on his day off he stayed in touch to get the deal done.
I also would like to say a special thank you to Sydney our sales progressor. She was always there for me at the end of the phone especially when we had a couple of hurdles. Througout the process she was so professional and basically did the job of the solicitors in my opinion… she just doesn’t stop chasing and without her it would have all moved at a much slower pace. She’s very good at explaining all the legalities and put my mind at rest on a number of occasions, all the time staying calm and positive throughout.

We put our home on the market with Bear after trying for several months with a different agent who had brought in a few viewings but no offers at all (even though the house was in a good location and condition).
Bear took new photos including aerial pictures with a drone and wrote a new description highlighting the advantages of the house.
Joe showed the potential buyers around on our open day and we received 2 good offers from the very first day of viewings, one of which we accepted - a huge relief after 3 frustrating months with the first agent. Joe and Leigh-Anne kept us up to date with progress through until completion of our onward purchase, so we were very pleased with the experience overall, even more so as the fees were very competitive.

I was informed constantly with all updates with the purchase & as a team they made things much easier for the purchase of my property.

Everyone in this company tries hard to get the job done. Sydney, especially, worked hard and effectively to help us achieve our goals. She had a difficult job with so many unpredictable obstacles and awkward barriers to negotiate. She persevered and got good results.

We needed a quick sale and contacted 3 different estate agents. I called Bear at the Southend branch and spoke to Ricky Foker and arranged for him to come round and do a valuation. He turned up promptly and exactly when arranged and immediately we felt this was the person we would trust with the sale of our house. He understood our needs and took time to talk with us and we could tell he really appreciated our home and gave us great confidence. I can honesty say the difference between Ricky’s approach and the other 2 agents that attended was like night and day! No comparison. Ricky quickly arranged the photos and particulars and I was able to speak to him about the details and get everything just as we wanted. We had a buyer in just under 6 weeks. Ricky is a fantastic negotiator and really worked hard to get us the sale we wanted. Ricky and his team at the Southend branch were all amazing and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

These estate agents are excellent at thier job and very committed to getting a sale and keep you updated. Any questions or queries I had were answered very quickly. Very professional and very friendly. I will be recommending them to anyone that wants to sell. I had a estate agent previous to using bear that were utterly useless.

Another successful sale through Bear. Really pleased with professional and friendly service and achieving over asking price. Fees aren’t the cheapest but they give value for money. Would definitely use this company again.

This is my second time buying/selling with Bear. All I can say is the team are fantastic! Sydney, Ricky and everyone at Bear are knowledgable, open, honest, fair and have made the process much easier for me. House sold in 4 days, responsive, quick to action what more could you want!
