A huge thank you to Shilpa for coming and talking to 50 women at my women's network 'the Henley Female Network'. Shilpa is so knowledgable and passionate about working with women as individuals to understand and support them with their health needs. She has a holistic and rounded approach that really feels empowering to listen too. I highly recommend her for any speaking engagements and I know that if I am ever in need of support during perimenopause, she would be the first person I'd turn to.

Dr McQuillan hosted a really informative Teams session for us on women's health and menopause.

During the talk Dr McQuillan covered lots of ground and gave very practical advice, all in a very approachable manner.

My GP didn’t have the specialised knowledge of Dr Mcquillan and so recommended I consult her a year ago. I’m so glad I did as my symptoms are now kept under control. She has been an invaluable empathetic support throughout. My treatment is tailored to my body, which has meant I’ve been able to get myself back on track and haven’t felt so well in many years. I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough for her knowledge, approach and enthusiasm to help get it right.

Dr McQuillan at Berkshire Menopause Clinic is excellent! She was thorough and thoughtful in her questions and really took the time to understand the issues I was having. She was knowledgeable and respectful and at all times sought to understand my preferences for management and tailored my treatment combine my preferences with the most up to date clinical guidelines. And best of all, I've seen a huge improvement in my symptoms since starting the treatment she suggested!

I am so pleased that I took the step to arrange an appointment with Dr McQuillan. She was amazing, very kind, understanding and empathetic, I felt heard and that what I was experiencing was very real. She gave me excellent advice around some other aspects which may help me, and also the medication changes that were needed to assist with my symptoms, with a follow up agreed to ensure I am responding well to the medication and any further blood testing that may be necessary once my medication was corrected. I wanted bloods taken but she took the time to talk me through why she would suggest I wait until I am on the correct medication which I fully respect.
Highly recommend Dr McQuillan to anyone reading this!

Dr McQuillan is so knowledgeable about all things menopause, and beyond, and really takes an holistic approach which is so refreshing to experience. She really sees YOU the person, not just the symptoms or the 'medical' side of you as a patient. She takes time to delve deeper and to cover things you may not even have been aware of to mention. It is a very caring, professional and supportive process.

Dr McQuillan has an exceptional knowledge and understanding of women's health but combines this with a genuine passion to help her clients Not only this but she is local which is important to me. At times, you want to get issues sorted ASAP and to get to the source of the problem, and essentially this is what you pay for. It is money well spent in my view because of how she works alongside the GP/surgery - the letter to them was sent within an hour of finishing the appointment. I'm looking forward to seeing how this changes my life. Therefore I can highly recommend Dr McQuillan.

Dr McQuillan was recommended to me and I’ve now recommended her to so many friends! I went to her as it felt so challenging to get an appointment with my doctor and that I needed to speak to someone who specialised in this area and assess what treatment was right for me. The convenience of an online video appointment made it super easy to fit in and treatment plan has significantly improved my health.

It was so nice to speak to someone who really understood what I was going through, the symptoms, the feelings/emotions, so different from speaking to some GPs, some who made me feel like I was making the symptoms up. The different treatment options were discussed and explained clearly. After the appointment I felt that there was hope that I would feel better and light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Would highly recommend the service offered to anyone who feel they could benefit from from extra support, understanding and hope!!

I have attended the Berkshire Menopause Clinic and found Dr McQuillian very thorough and professional.
She explained the medication she prescribed and also answered the many questions I put to her. She is very friendly and made me feel relaxed when I visited her.
She likes to follow one up if she had prescribed any medication and always there for an email if any concerns.
She has changed my life around and I’m so glad I made that appointment.

I would absolutely recommend seeing Dr McQuillan. She was very knowledgeable and kind, I never felt I was pushed into a particular line of treatment. She also explained everything well so I felt well informed in each possible treatment option which was really reassuring. I also felt no pressure at all to get medication/treatments in private care over NHS. Definitely recommend!

Its been a long journey and wasn't until I stopped and sat down to talk to your about my symptoms I really noticed how much it has been effecting me and my family. I think being a busy woman and then complications of an existing medical condition, with similar symptoms has made it hard to identify straight away. My introductory appointment with Dr McQuillian was very useful. We discussed my symptoms at length and it was so good to talk to a doctor who has specialist knowledge of the menopause and all it’s issues.

I wanted the opportunity to sit down properly for a decent amount of time to discuss HRT which isn't possible with my GP hence making a private appointment. I found Berkshire Menopause Clinic amongst others online. I sent Dr McQuillan (a GP as well as a gynaecologist!) an email on a Sunday and she replied straight away and I made an appointment the following week. She's really knowledgeable and we discussed the pros and cons and all the options as well as her asking lots of questions about me, my medical history and my lifestyle. She provided a prescription but encouraged me to contact my GP to see if they would continue (which they did willingly) - there's no pressure for a follow up appointment but the option is there if I want it. It was definitely the best decision to go and see her and have the time to discuss menopause properly without feeling rushed. Dr McQuillan is passionate about this area of women's health and I'd thoroughly recommend going to see her as a starting point to get all your questions answered!
