Extremely Disappointed – Critical Issues Ignored for Days

My experience with this hosting provider has been extremely disappointing.
I reported critical technical issues affecting my WHMCS installation more than three days ago. These were not minor issues — they were business-critical problems:
ionCube Loader not enabled (required for WHMCS to function)
403 Forbidden errors when saving General Settings
Website breaking after configuration changes
No permanent solution provided
These problems directly impact my ability to operate my business and serve customers.
What is most concerning is not just the technical issue itself, but the slow response time and lack of urgency in resolving it. As a hosting provider offering services to businesses, this level of support is unacceptable.
At this point, I cannot confidently recommend this company to anyone who relies on stable hosting for business purposes.
I sincerely hope they improve their technical support and response time, because the current experience has been very frustrating.

However, we would like to clarify a few important points for transparency.

WHMCS is provided free of charge with our reseller hosting plans as a value-added tool. While we ensure the hosting environment supports it, software-level troubleshooting, configuration issues, or internal errors within WHMCS itself are outside the scope of the reseller hosting support package you purchased.

Regarding ionCube, all our shared and reseller hosting servers currently run ionCube Loader v13, which is fully compatible with most stable WHMCS releases. Your request required upgrading the server to ionCube v14. Because this is a shared environment, such changes cannot be implemented immediately for a single account without first evaluating the potential impact on other customers hosted on the same server. Removing or replacing core extensions affects multiple users, so we must carefully assess stability and compatibility before proceeding.

This precaution is part of our responsibility to protect every customer on the server, not to delay your request. If you require full control over server components or custom module versions, a VPS or dedicated server would be the appropriate environment, as it allows isolated configuration changes without risk to others.

Absolutely Terrible & Unethical Hosting Company

I had an extremely bad experience with Beta Host Limited (betahost247.com). My hosting service was suspended without proper resolution, even though I had already renewed and paid for the next month in advance.

After the suspension, I contacted them expecting either a fix or a refund for the unused service I had already paid for. Instead, they refused to refund me, kept my money, and provided no meaningful support or fair explanation.

This is not how a legitimate hosting company should operate. Taking payment for a service you don’t provide and then refusing a refund is unprofessional, unethical, and unacceptable.

Their customer service is poor, communication is bad, and they show zero accountability for their actions. If you value your money, your website, or your peace of mind, do NOT use this hosting provider. There are far better and more trustworthy hosting companies out there.

I strongly regret choosing Beta Host Limited and would never recommend them to anyone.

The suspension was from the domain registrar (where the domain was purchased), and got suspended for phishing report sent directly to them and only they can restrict or reinstate domain names.

Betahost tries to keep you hostage

Betahost tries to keep you hostage. We are a reseller and are trying to move away from Betahost and asked them to create a cpmove file. They refusing this knowing that its basically impossible to backup and move hundreds of individual Cpanel accounts.

We can only recommend you to stay away from Betahost

We would like to clarify that BetaHost does not, in any way, attempt to keep any client "hostage." Your claim is not accurate. As we have explained multiple times via your support ticket, our Terms of Service (Section 17) clearly outline that all clients, including resellers, are responsible for managing and downloading their own backups via the provided cPanel tools.

These tools enable you to generate full account backups, which serve the same purpose as cpmove files when migrating to another hosting provider. This is standard practice in the hosting industry.

Your data has always been accessible to you, and we have never restricted your ability to back up or migrate your accounts. We are happy to assist further by providing guidance on how to create these backups yourself, as is clearly provided within your cPanel.

We regret that you feel this way, but we will continue to operate within the policies that were transparently agreed upon when you became our customer.

Server painfully slow and downtime terrible

Server painfully slow. And downtime is almost everyday and other technical problems like "Blocked due to access forbidden (403)" are normal part of this host. This host has a host of problems I wouldn't recommend them.

I bought a domain with this useless site. The keep increasing the price as each year goes by. I paid no attention to that, not until i made the worst mistake of get a wp-host from them. I will sleep and wake to my dns records change for reason or the other, and my website is down. That fixed, only keep encountering NS change frequently with no reason and kept taking my website down and hurting the rating. Avoid this company at all cost, they don't know what they are doing. No live chat, you must create ticket to get whatever help you want sorted out even when under attack, they won't take you serious and only reply at will.

Apology for such experience, kindly note that we have never encounter such experience of change of dns, this is new We uses one NS on all wp hosting. Our WP Hosting has no such issue as claimed! The last time we did a migration of wp to a cloudlinux server was on 25th march, 2024 and details of server migration mail was sent and all website was restored. In the case of increase in price, we clearly stated in the mail we sent out in February, 2024 and also on our announcement page (https://billing.betahost247.com/announcements/26/Important-Notice-Price-Adjustment-Due-to-Forex-Inflation.html) of increase in price due to exchange rate.

The issue of live chat, I think you are wrong, our live chat, and whatsapp are all active to receive all complain 24/7 which includes online tickets.

If you are still experiencing any issue, kindly indicate a ticket ID and our team will investigate this issue and resolved!
