I had an outstanding experience at BetterMed Urgent Care! The staff was incredibly compassionate, the service was prompt, and the facility was spotless. I felt genuinely cared for from the moment I walked in. It's rare to find such dedication and efficiency. Highly recommend!

I went to Better Med yesterday and Mr. Zavey(sorry if I missed spelled your name) checked me in. He was very thorough and very patient with me! The nurse took me back, held my purse & arm as I was very dizzy(beautiful glasses). NP Bob (? stuffed up head) he was also very thorough and explained what to expect and what I needed to do. The facility was super clean! I had to wait for a ride so I went outside and sat on the corner. Mr. Z came out and chatted with me until my ride came! What a thoughtful & caring thing to do!

They were better than others. I have personally had a very satisfying experience. The person in charge was super helpful and most importantly very patient.

The web checkin is useless. It does not provide accurate selections for physician or pharmacy. It does not good your place in the queue! The text prompts are not clear (“come into the office” does not indicate you need to see someone at the front desk). There is one person at the front desk to process checkin and check out (BetterMed had 2). We have been waiting for OVER an hour and still have not been seen. Someone who was a walk-in (not web checkin) was processed and seen after 5 minutes and we are STILL WAITING. Do better.

UPDATE: We received responsive care once we were seen. The physicians and nurses were pleasant and addressed our issue well.

Went in there to get help but was ignored and the white patients were taken over me even though I was there a good 30 minutes before they even arrived. They didn’t check me in either because the receptionist called her up to register. I left shortly after that act of discrimination stay far away if you’re a person of color they don’t take kind to us their. I also had to force them to speak to me when they greeted the white patients immediately after they came in.

No assistance. I was seen last night. My prescriptions were not sent to the pharmacy by the time I figured it out they were closed. I have called serval times this morning and no one will answer the phone it rings until it disconnects. They have no problem taking the copay but cannot send the prescriptions over or answer the phone.

I got to the clinic at before they opened at 8 am. It was a little disorganized when I got into the clinic but they worked hard to correct. It was a bit concerning that I filled out the paperwork via my phone and the technology was not talking to each other so they asked me the same questions 3 times. We're filling out the registration it asks me what was my pharmacy. I documented Walmart in Petersburg Virginia. I went there after my visit to pick up my medication and was advised that they didn't have any medication there for me. I called BetterMed back twice and was ensured that the medication had been sent in. On the last call to the BetterMed. I was told that the medication was sent to Walgreens and that I needed to call them myself and get them to transfer my medication to the correct pharmacy and by this time it's almost one pm and no medication.

Doctor was nice, not so friendly front desk but that's not the issue. The catch is they will take your credit card/HSA card and WILL just charge that card for any reminding balance after insurance has covered their portion as soon as they can. Isn't that what bills are sent to collects for?

I saw Kelsey Carr Nurse practioner in mechanicsville va who went over and beyond to be courteous and helpful. She deserves to be acknowledged for her outstanding professionalism and I appreciate her. The entire staff was amazing and I Thank you so very much, this is what many more in the medical profession should strive to be like, Thank you so much Kelsey!

I have been to a few different Better Med locations in the Richmond Va tri-cities area most I have had great experiences with. However the Willow Lawn location is by far the worst location in the area. The receptionist is always rude. I’ve had experiences with two different ones. There is clearly a lack of management at this location as well, With astronomical wait times. It took 3 patients lined up for over 30 min for the receptionist to tell us to check in with the iPad today. There is no signage or instructions to do so when you enter the facility. As far as I am concerned I rather drive 20-30 min out of my way to go to another location than come to this one that is closest to my house ever again.

Excellent care from the minute I walked in the till the end of the visit.
They are by far the best urgent care facility in the greater Fredericksburg area.

I have had the very best of care at this Medical facility. I have been to BetterMed on numerous occasions and each time the nurses and other associates have been efficient and kind. On my last visit they quickly diagnosed Sepsis and within the hour had me rushed to a hospital. This probably saved my life! Since then I have told my story to many people and advised them of the outstanding care I received at BetterMed. Thank you for providing this kind of medical care to our communities.

As always BetterMed delivered on top notch care. My family, and myself have been seen for various reason, and have always been very well taken care of. Nothing bad to say about this place.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The worst place ever!!! They've asked to pay $20 copay and kept the card on file to charge me extra $200 a month later. Be aware of the papers you are signing because they can rip off hundreds and thousands of dollars for the most basic visit.

The staff was incredibly friendly and kind. I’ve been to many different urgent care and by far this place at the bus service whether it was over the phone or in person.
