Received my order and was not happy when I opened it. Only 9 items out of the 13 were half decent. Tried to return and it won't allow me to . AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Bought a lot of items in the last 7 years from these guys. Everything I got I still have it, good quality and the prices are always affordable. Strongly recommend

I bought a Lee black denim jacket from Beyond Retro. It arrived promptly but it had an American radio station logo on the back which was sown into the material. I was a bit disappointed with the large logo but I dyed the jacket more black and it's no longer visable. No problem with delivery which was quick and the jacket is nice with my alteration

Absolute scammers. I just tried to make a purchase and when I clicked buy it said my card could not be verified. I tried again and it said the same thing. Yet they have taken the money from my bank TWICE.

Looks like they do this and then dodge any customer service as it looks non existent so who knows how long it will take me to get refunded. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I loved all the clothes I have ordered in the past. However one item arrived damaged, unwearable as seam completely split. I followed the instructions submitting photos online, I also called a few days in. Anyhow, the problem never got resolved. Luckily for me the item was cheap enough not to give me sleepless nights. But it really is a shame that customer service is so bad and therefore I won't be ordering again.

Edit: BR were really helpful on the phone and this has all been resolved. It took longer than I'd have liked, but grateful to Mattie and the team for sorting.

Beyond Retro didn't deliver two items in my order despite charging for them. I have emailed the customer care address five times over the last month without reply, even going into the Oxford Street branch to ask about an update (which wasn't given).

I've been a regular here over the last ten years, but the first sign of trouble has left me feeling scammed.

This review is for the online UK store.
Pros;
- They are quick to respond
- offer good discounts.
- received a refund although a return went missing.
Cons;
- I expect a fusty smell with second hand items but not to receive items covered in snot or who knows what it is.
- Tissues in pockets in many items.
- Measurements are often not accurate.
- Several items from a big order needed the rag bag. They should not be sending things out to customers like that, unless it's like £3 & the flaws are pointed out. (Like other platform do.)
- a refund took 5 weeks!
- Refunds are always off by a fiver, even though you pay for your own returns.

I used to really like beyond retro but recently I've noticed the quality of the items isn't great and the customer service is terrible. It used to be really easy to return items before but now it's really difficult to get a return label sorted and contacting the customer service doesn't achieve much. It's a shame because I used to shop much more with them but I don't really think it's worth it now as I'm finding most items look completely different to the photos they use online and you then have to pay to return stuff.

Always a great experience ordering from BeyondRetro, My go-to for excellent vintage pieces! Ordered a gorgeous beige trench coat and it arrived so quickly! The quality is incredible. Definitely a loyal customer :)

Huge vintage shop, pack to rafters with amazing clothes. Easily my favourite vintage shop.

Went to the Cardiff store with my friend today to explore the stock as we both love vintage clothing. The stuff there was lovely and they were having a 50% off sale there which was fab. We found the labelling there really confusing as a lot of the labels had numbers written on them which looked like they might be prices but I think in hindsight they were re the weeks they’d been there maybe? My friend found a shirt there for her husband, looked like it was £15 on the label. We were distracted at the checkout looking at other clothes and then realised they had charged £30 for the shirt. Told them we didn’t realise it was that much and were confused by the label. Asked if we could get refunded (bearing in line we were still in the shop and misunderstood the pricing) and they basically refused point blank to issue a refund and would only offer store credit then mentioned the sale is only till this Sunday. Really ended our shopping trip on a sour note. They’ve definitely lost themselves 2 customers today. Makes me sad that they couldn’t think outside the box and try to employ decent customer service. Feels a shame cos it was a lovely shop but I wouldn’t go back there on principle after our negative experience there. Think we’ll both stick to charity shops from now on tbh 😡

They were super nice and have cute sweaters and clothes in general

The shipping was slow. What's even worse is that you have to figure out and pay returns on your own if you reside outside the UK. In 2023 this is unacceptable.

I’ve recently started shopping at Beyond Retro online, and I can't help but praise the experience I've had with their deliveries and returns. Their customer service is not just efficient but impressively responsive to emails. It has become my ultimate go-to for clothing. Great service!

I feel like Beyond retro purchases clothes from America and Canada for a few dollars per item then re-sells them to the UK public for much much more. Why is it that a second hand sweater costs 50 pounds? This place is a scam.

It’s hard to describe how disappointed and shocked I am with the delivery from Beyond Retro!! One of the garments I received, a lovely and delicate bolero in velvet, was covered up with duct tape (!!) that was impossible to remove, and was drenched in dust! Seriously?? How is this even possible?
I also received clothes in completely wrong sizes compared to what they informed about online. :-(
NOTHING of what I ordered is usable. And I’m really sad :(
What a waste of money, environment and time, and going from loving their concept and stores to having a really bad taste in my mouth about how they operate and treat their customers..
Their solution to solve the problem was to first promise me my money back, which I gladly accepted, since it’s the only decent offer in a situation like this. But then now they are trying to get away with just giving me an online gift code instead!!

How sneaky and unprofessional do they have to be, why can’t they just clean up their mess. Well, they will not have any choice but to give me my refund.

PS, all the clothes they send are packed in bags that resemble garbage bags. 🙃

I took a chance and ordered a dress which I could not resist on this website. Sooooo. Glad I did as it arrived just as described fit perfectly and was in never worn condition. That said I buy lots of clothing from Beyond Retro now as each purchase has been super. Delivery I find is fast and always contains a receipt.

Amazing company! I have ordered so many times and am always so impressed with the quality of the products, the range of on-trend pieces and of course the super unique bits. Delivery is always extremely fast with updates and clear information and packaged beautifully. Aside from all that, the other reason I continue to return is the fantastic customer service. Queries are answered really quickly and they are so helpful and friendly. Can’t recommend this kind and sustainable company enough.
