The worst experience we were waiting for more than one hour and when the bus came in it was full

Since we're getting older and walking, walking, and walking isn't as easy as it used to be, the Big Bus seemed a great alternative. A three day pass was almost 42 euro, but seemed a good investment. We could take it to the area we wanted to visit and walk from there. Unfortunately, it was a VERY BAD DECISION.

The website says it's 11 minutes between buses. More like 45 or more. When one finally arrived, the line was so long not everyone could get on. When I checked their app it showed only 3 busses running! Meanwhile, there's been one parked next to their pick-up spot at the train terminal for 3 days. Never moved. Granted it's a holiday weekend, and the crowds are larger than normal--but shouldn't they have planned for that!

This morning, when we decided to take a regular Roma bus, the line for the Big Bus was twice as long as when we were there. The local bus (only 7 euros for the day) went quickly to our stop.

We booked our tickets online and everything worked smoothly, however all the attractions are so close to each other in Rome, that there is not a big need for taking a hop on top tour, like would be in a big cites like London.
The company itself is good,nice personal, comfortable buses. Used it lots of times in Paris, Barcelona, etc.

The staff member we dealt with was Shahriar. He was kind, helpful and made sure to give us directions for any questions we asked. It was very comforting to have someone with such experience give us the information we needed and ideas of how to ride the bus and get the most out of our experience. Very grateful to him.

Avoid! Waited an hour for a bus that was advertised to run every 18 minutes while other tours arrived and left. Once the bus arrived we had to wait 30 minutes for the bus to fill before we could leave. By which time it was too late. Customer service also very unhelpful. I should have read the other reviews before hand as it seems to be very common. Hop off this tour!

They promised the 30 min max between each bus but our experience was bad far from 30 min, We wait nonstop much longer as promised others told me that other companies have more busses driving the same route and we see each time when we wait the other bus was already twice coming never again BIG BUS

We had had luck with the big bus tours in different cities So we bought tickets with the company in Rome. However, they failed to mention that a vast number of their stops were closed for a Susan G Kommen fun run. They had known about this event for a couple of months but did not bother to let anyone know before they bought their tickets.

So the day of the tour comes and we have received no emails or information that they have closed several of the stops and part of the route. No bus comes and when I try and figure out what's going on and why nobody comes to pick us up there is no way to contact anyone. We walked around town and tried at a different stop and had the driver pull up after a significant amount of time and tell us that most of the stops were closed and the route had been changed. So we decided not to go.

I sent in requesting a refund on the tickets on the grounds that they had not told us that they were not running most of the route and was told that they did not do any refunds but we're happy to extend our date for 6 months even though we had already flown home to the United States. I am filing agreements with my credit card company to get my money back.

We had a great experience and an excellent audio guide. However, the crew needs to increase mandate law enforcement due to current Covid19 situation. Several passengers weren't wearing a mask after got into the deck floor. The company will be lawfully accountable if we get infected. My trip started around 6:20pm from Termini Station on 09/17/2021.

Awful company to deal with. Take your money and don’t provide the service and then tell you ‘don’t worry you can use it another time’. It was now or never.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!

vendem tickets para datas que estao sem funcionar e quando vc solicita o reembolso eles negam e falam que vc pode usar ate 12 meses.
mas.sou turista..nao vtarei..se nao tava funcionando por que vendeu? Ta facil roubar turista agora? Tem ate site oficial pro roubo? pq esse eh o nome q eu dou para a acao de uma empresa q sabe q n esta funcionando, mas deixa as vendas abertas para pegar turista trouxa!

Konnten online um €116 ohne Probleme ein 3 Tages Deluxe Ticket für Rom buchen. Vor Ort angekommen wurde uns von den Straßenverkäufern mitgeteilt, dass der Bus aufgrund Covid überhaupt nicht fährt. Nach mehreren Mails wurde uns nur mitgeteilt, dass wir das Geld nicht zurückbekommen, da wir das Ticket ja 1 Jahr nutzen können.

Sadly I’ve had a disgusting experience with this company. Myself and my young family were only allowed to travel two stops over the whole day before being thrown off because despite having a valid ticket, which cost over €113 and was bought on the same day (dated), I misplaced the receipt we were given when we first got on the bus. Disgusting. Spoilt our day and special weekend in Rome. Please avoid, there are other companies out there with more compassion.

My experience with Bigbus tours was very sad when i was in Rome purchased a ticket for a tour and was told they will not do a hotel pick however the location was easy to find and only a 20 minute walk from the hotel so i left the hotel at 6:00am to meet them at the loction i was told for a 7:00am pick up i walked around for 55 minutes and could not find the bus at 7:15 i went back to the hotel being sure that they had left by then.I contacted them and they said sorry thats not our problem and refused to give a credit or refund my 139 Euro i then had to buy the same tour from another company the next day that did pick up at my hotel for less money even.So beware of Big Bus tours they care nothing for you as a customer they only want your money.

Eveeything went well. Great way to see London for the first time.

Big Bus worked very well. The crew did a great job. On the night tour they immediately recognized that more people were arriving and quickly added another bus so we could all get upper deck seats! Very thoughtful and professional!

Such a handy way to get around rome snd the app makes it really easy. Also booked the catacombe tour on the bus which was brilliant

No sé si fue porque coincidió con el 1/11/2019 festivo pero tuvimos que esperara 2 horas para poder coger el bus. Y añadir q la compensación de 2 horas más para el dia siguiente no es suficiente. Señalar q en todas las paradas habia buses turísticos de otras compañias y big bus siempre había menos autobuses y a mi parecer tradaban mas en pasar

Super séjour à Rome avec les Big bus, arrêts visibles, facile pour visiter les lieux touristiques. Petit bémol, nous avons voulu reprendre au château saint-Ange vers 18h et là, nous avons dû retourner à pied car le bus ne s'arrête plus qu'au Termini…….Point négatif, nous avons acheté les billets d'entrées pour les catacombes 10€/ par adulte et sur le site même c'est 8€....on pense avoir une réduction avec l'abonnement du bus et finalement on paie + cher !!!!!!!
