I recently had my ebike stolen while on holiday in france and I could not be happier with the service I have received from Tom and the team at Bikmo. The online claims form was a bit clunky but all my evidence was accepted by email and the claim was authorised within a week. So pleased that I will be back on 2 wheels soon and not out of pocket. Thank you team.

The all claim procedure was fairly straightforward. The only downside is that it took a bit more than couple of weeks for the claim to be processed, but overall super satisfied with the overall end of the procedure.

Sehr unzufrieden, versicherung sehr unzuverlässig und meldet sich absolut nicht mehr nachdem man den schaden gemeldet hat und die aufgeforderten Unterlagen eingereicht hat....
Absolut schlimm und werde ich auf keinen fall weiterempfehlen.

BIKMO hat ohne meine Zustimmung Geld von meinem Bankkonto abgebucht und anschließend zwei Wochen lang meine E-Mails ignoriert. Ich habe die Verlängerung meiner Police storniert und eine Bestätigung dafür von BIKMO erhalten. Trotzdem haben sie die Verlängerungsgebühr von meinem Konto abgebucht. Ich habe dem Unternehmen über zwei Wochen hinweg fünf Nachrichten geschickt und um eine Rückerstattung gebeten. Ich habe dort angerufen, konnte aber nie mit jemandem sprechen. Erst nachdem ich meine Bank beauftragt hatte, die Abbuchung rückgängig zu machen (und dafür 15 € zu zahlen), hat BIKMO endlich reagiert.

Schreckliche Kommunikation und schrecklicher Kundenservice. Kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen.

Die Schadensabwicklung nach über 2 Monaten noch immer nicht abgeschlossen, es wird nicht bzw. sehr sporadisch auf Mails geantwortet und es gibt keine Informationen bzgl. eines Status. Die Bearbeitungszeit von 5-7 Tagen ist ein absoluter Witz.
Telefonische erreichbarkeit? Es gibt zwar eine Telefonnummer, man wird aber nach 10min einfach aus der Warteschlange geworfen, ich habe auch nach 15 anrufen niemanden Sprechen können. Bin mal gespannt, ob da überhaupt noch irgendwas passiert

Wie oft beschrieben ist die Erreichbarkeit des deutschen oder österreichischen Zweiges per Telefon überhaupt nicht möglich und Antworten per Mail erhielt ich nur, nachdem ich mich telefonisch im englischen Zweig nach Fortschritt erkundigt hab. Den Kundenservice des englischen Zweiges muss ich hier loben, dort erreichte ich telefonisch innerhalb weniger Minuten hilfsbereite Mitarbeitende, die anscheinend die deutschsprachigen Kollegen erreichen können. Das reicht allerdings nicht, um eine andere Bewertung als 1 Stern anzugeben. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen! Schaden aktuell zugesagt aber noch nicht reguliert.

I’ve been insuring my bikes through BIKMO since 2021. BIKMO is the only insurance company I’ve found that covers bikes during a triathlon—and at their current replacement value.
Unfortunately, my bike was damaged in the very first year. After filing a very straightforward claim, I quickly received assistance and confirmation that the costs would be covered. I highly recommend BIKMO :) Protect your bike from damage! :)

As everyone, im so sceptical when it comes to insurance.
Im so pleased to say bikmo insurance does exactly what it says on the tin!
I had a off, luckily not damaging the bike. It was only a week after i thought id inquire about replacing/claiming for my helmet id split.
I never keep reciepts for anything... i know stupid right.
But bikmo were happy enough that proof of ownership through pics of the helmet new vs split open would suffice for a payout.
Very smooth, nevery tried to wiggle out of it, just sorted it.
That for me is exactly how insurance should be. Honest and simple.
Cant fault them! Well done bikmo 👌👏

Better experience than I was expecting. Claim was processed quite quickly and was given credit to use at a decent bike dealer

What I thought would be a very torturous and drawn out experience, was actually, smooth and very easy. All of the team were super helpful with the claim ad offered a great service

Policenummer nicht auffindbar, anschließend keine Rückmeldung. Kein Rückruf, telefonisch nicht erreichbar, auch keine Antwort auf Mails. Werde den Schaden wohl selber bezahlen und die Versicherung kündigen.

This is something I really didn't want to have to do, theft is a horrible experience to go through, its hard not to feel that its personal. However, the process to make a claim was very simple, and straightforward. The communication was swift and again straightforward and the judgement decision came through very quickly. I'd urge everyone to takeout insurance and be covered.

I've insured my bicycles with Bikmo for a few years now. I'm jolly glad I did, because I recently had a close encounter with a deer on a steep hill in which I was knocked unconscious - helmet smashed to pieces, sunglasses smashed, cycling jersey shredded. Bicycle wasn't as badly damaged as I was, but the repairs still came to a good few hundred pounds.

Despite me not having receipts for all the items I claimed for Bikmo settled my claim in full, using the photographic evidence I supplied as proof of ownership. Thank you to Tom and the claims team, who kept me updated with what was happening, and liaised with my local bike shop who carried out the repairs. Five stars!

I received a renewal email on 30th May and clicked on the button to “Let us know if somethings changed”. I said I no longer had the bikes and requested the policy be cancelled. Today I’ve had an email saying I’m covered for another year so money has been taken from my account without permission.

I never needed to claim while insured but their admin is bad.
