Myself and my fiancé are so grateful for all the help both Sam and Laura put in to creating my amazing engagement ring. They were extremely knowledgeable and we really enjoyed learning more about the process and the gemstones, and they were extremely patient talking us both through it (multiple times) before suggesting the perfect stones for us.

After visiting Hatton Gardens multiples times and feeling very overwhelmed, we were so glad we found Blackacre. Our only regret is not going there first!

Sam really takes you on exciting journey towards a unique piece whether you know exactly what you want or have no clue. Laura and him guide you through every step of design to choosing diamonds to ultimately production and keeping you in the loop every step of the way. I came into the engagement ring process as a complete novice, but was guided through every step from designing through to choosing gemstones. The team at Blackacre are knowledgeable, relatable and extremely professional. I now have a delighted fiancée, an extremely special bespoke engagement ring and have also been extensively educated on ring design and creation. I’ve also been educated on gemstones, which was both invaluable and very interesting.

Sam & I spent more than 3 months from initial meeting to finished product, creating the perfect ring for my fiancee. He was incredibly patient and offered a great deal of guidance based on his undoubted expertise. Everything was completed, on time and under budget and the final product is absolutely beautiful. Could not recommend Blackacre more, perfect experience.

I wanted to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend, but I didn't want to do a Boodles (too bling) or go to Hatton garden (not a nice experience). Blackacre were spot on. They are run by an enthusiastic, young and knowledgeable team. I always felt that Sam and Laura were making sure I got the best ring / diamond for me, rather than just trying to sell me something. The design work was exceptional. Sam designed a highly personalised ring for my girlfriend (now fiancé) which she absolutely loves. It was all the more remarkable for having not met her until after the proposal.

Cannot recommend Sam and the team highly enough. I contacted Blackacre mid-lockdown, having left not a huge amount of time to find an engagement ring ahead of a trip away when I planned to propose.

From the start Sam did an excellent job of outlining the creation process. Amongst other things, this included drawing up a detailed prospectus for design inspiration purposes, as well as a call to go through the various different centre stone options at length. The pro-active and excellent communication throughout meant I was well informed at each step and it never felt in doubt that I’d have the ring in time and in accordance with the design requested.

The finished ring is stunning, and even exceeded my fiancée’s (already high) expectations!

I was recommended Blackacre through a colleague, to design a bespoke engagement ring for my partner and can't express how grateful I am for their outstanding service! Sam was able to explain everything in layman's terms to allow me to fully understand and involve myself in what is an amazing process. Laura was on hand to teach me about, and help me choose a beautiful stone! From concept to final piece, I was given regular updates and consulted on how the process was going and why certain design decisions were being made in order to make sure I was getting the ring I had envisaged. Blackacre really took what was a daunting task and made it not only simple, but thoroughly enjoyable. I can't thank them enough, they managed to take an idea I had and made it into a work of art!

Great service, and choice of rings! I ended up using Blackacre having read some of the reviews - I wanted somewhere which felt more personal. They were super helpful in finding the right ring and diamonds. They involve you as much as possible, explaining how they go about making your ring, and then keep you up to date with the process. Would highly recommend, especially if you’re unsure where to start!
