Sam was excellent and made the process personal, informative and most importantly, reassuring which is very important given it can be quite a daunting experience.

I had complete faith and trust in his knowledge and experience and would happily recommend him and his company to anyone looking for an engagement ring.

He was flexible and accommodating, and took me through the process from initial design to delivery, and allowed me to come to a decision without pressure. The team then created my ring while beating the "due date", and kept me up to date in the process. My fiance loves her ring and I look forward to using Blackacre in the future.

Fantastic service with an outstanding end product - the unique ring that Blackacre created for us is stunning. Sam and the teams process and advice simplifies the complex world of engagement ring shopping into laymen’s terms. From start to finish, the advice was focused on what mattered and the key features that will make a difference, whilst honestly explaining the pros and cons of different stone qualities, designs and settings.

I used Sam and Blackacre when choosing / designing an engagement ring for my now Fiancée and could not be happier with my decision.

Sam helped me through my journey which to be honest, I was quite scared about initially. I had a very vague idea of what my girlfriend would like and no understanding of diamonds or other precious stones what so ever. Sam guided me through this journey, educating me a long the way, without guiding me down a certain path. This was super important for me as there is so much to learn and many options available - Sam's no pressure approach was exactly what I needed and what I imagine most people buying an expensive piece of jewellery need!

Sam produced multiple mood boards for me to help me identify types of rings I liked, as well as tailored a few designs to what he thought would be suitable. Once I'd decided on a design, Sam and his team at Blackacre built a truly stunning ring, one which my Fiancée absolutely adores. She also loves the fact that I was so heavily involved in the design process.

Hard to know where to begin, it was the most enjoyable experience ‘working’ with Sam & his team creating the perfect engagement ring for my now fiancée. From the first meeting over a glass of wine to seeing the Blackacre Designers in action to the finished product, the experience is everything you’d want when making some big decisions. Sam and the team have an incredible way of making you feel very at ease, helped by their extensive knowledge of all things Jewellery. The ring they created is the most beautiful ring, the attention to detail is a work of art, everyone has been blown away by its beauty it’s made me very popular with my in-laws to be. My fiancée can still be found gazing happily at it weeks later!

I would highly recommend Blackacre to anyone, their experience, knowledge and service is exemplary! It turned what is quite a daunting and exciting step to a highly enjoyable and informative experience. Blackacre have been genuinely fantastic!

Sam and the Blackacre team were really knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. They made what could have been a very stressful process really enjoyable, even going above and beyond to sort everything after a couple of mistakes on my side.

I chose Blackacre because my fiancé wanted a sapphire in her engagement ring, i.e. more specialist than only diamonds, so I needed someone who really knew their stuff. After trying out a few different private jewellers, I was most impressed with Blackacre. Sam explained all the different aspects to me and guided me through all the jewellery jargon, to get a final design that I was totally happy with. I was confident I could trust Sam and his team.

The turnaround speed was surprisingly quick, and I have to say the final product blew me and my fiancé away. The quality of the sapphire and accompanying diamonds are excellent, having been hand selected to complement each other by the team.

Thank you very much Blackacre. You will definitely be my go to for my wedding bands and any future jewellery.

I had the most fantastic experience with Blackacre!

Right from the start the whole team went out of their way to ensure that I got the perfect final product. I was kept constantly in the loop with all developments, had stones set aside for me to view that the team thought suited my brief and I even got to see some of the creative process behind the scenes! This level of service and involvement was so calming and helpful when making such an important purchase. It also made the whole process a wonderful and unique experience, which would not be possible to recreate in many places.

One other rare quality that the Blackacre team have in abundance is honesty. Throughout the whole process they always gave me the best advice that would result in the perfect end result. Never once did they base any advice on anything other than a desire to create the most memorable ring for me and for this I am very grateful.
