I cannot speak too highly of the company, and of Ben in particular. In all transactions there has been professionalism, clarity , honesty and reliability. So good to have found an expert surveyor who has answered all questions with no fudging, fobbing off or hedging of bets behind referrals for pricey second opinions. I feel very confident in recommending Blackacre . I only wish we had known about them sooner.

I chose this firm randomly on line, compared their charges and scope of work. Following a couple of phone conversations I was happy to engage them for a valuation report and was very pleased with their service and advice after they had completed their report.

Simon from Blackacre provided excellent service. It took less than two weeks between the initial instruction and the delivery of the valuation report on my property. The report was thorough and very well put together and Simon provided additional support over phone and email, always replying without delay throughout the process.

As first-time buyers we didn’t have a clue what we were doing and had lots of questions. Due to the age of the property we needed a comprehensive survey done and to go into the purchase with open eyes. Ben provided a thorough report with lots of comments, photos and recommendations which was exactly what we needed. A follow up call with Ben reassured us and clarified any remaining concerns we had. We would recommend for anyone based in Sussex.

You don’t often plan to need a Right to Light surveyor, so when you do it’s can be quite stressful, so feeing you are in calm, capable, knowledgeable hands is critical. Ben is all this and also brilliant. He helped us with a Right to light claim and was really proactive giving fantastic advice and solicitor options.
When we redesigned he also had a look at it for us to make sure there would be no further problems.
We highly recommend Ben and Blackacre for any RoL issues you may have or think you might have.
