Did a week long crash course with Dan and passed 1st time

I had around 20 hours of driving with Dave Topley and recently passed my test. He was great instructor , very clam patient and always reassured me when needed.
I would highly recommend D.B.S especially Dave Topley

I started with Paul with no experience and only passed my theory, on first lesson he teaches me the basics and fundamentals of driving and when I did something wrong there was no frustration it was nice and calmly explain what I did and how to improve it and let me carry on.he got me a test date within a few months and my first test date got cancelled but Paul got me a other test within 2 weeks which was amazing and the day of the test reassured me and I came out passed with no faults thank to Paul amazing guy funny and can actually get along with

I had a great experience with Blackpool Driving School. I learnt with two different Instructors being Dave and Paul. This was due to one instructor moving to full time automatic and I was continuing to learn in Manual. Both driving instructors were brilliant, made instruction very clear and understood how to get the best out of me in certain situations. As well as being able to have a laugh and a joke and enjoy my time when learning. Truly want to say a massive thank you to both of them as they are both absolutely brilliant at what they do, Thanks guys!

I had a fantastic experience with BDS Driving School and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. My instructor, Shane, was absolutely brilliant throughout my lessons. He made everything really clear, helpful, and genuinely interesting, which made learning to drive much less stressful. Shane was also great at helping me stay calm and confident, especially when I was nervous, and he always explained things in a way that made sense. Thanks to his patience, encouragement, and teaching style, I managed to pass my driving test first time. If you’re looking for a professional, supportive driving school with excellent instructors, BDS Driving School is the one to go with.

What can I say , from start to finish.
Help with nerves and confidence, ended up getting to a stage when my interventions were just to make me the best driver I could be, as everything else was smooth.
Mandy was brilliant , so easy to talk to. Really picked up on bad habits and eliminated them entirely. I passed first time with only 3 minors purely for hesitation.
I could not be more happy with my result. If your thinking off booking it go for it , best investment I ever made.

In February 2025, I embarked on my driving journey with Dave Topley, starting from scratch. Dave proved to be an incredible teacher, and I successfully completed my practical test in less than a year. His approach boosted my confidence, keeping lessons calm and tailored to my preferred pace. As the test approached, Dave was very flexible, arranging extra sessions around my full-time job, ensuring I felt secure in my driving abilities and maneuvers. I wholeheartedly suggest Dave to anyone eager to learn driving – having just passed, I'm prepared to tackle any driving scenario on my own. Thank you, Dave!

I passed my test today, first time after a 20 hour intensive course with Cindy. I can honestly not recommend her enough, she is so patient and calm and really helps to put your mind at ease. No matter how many questions I asked or how many times I doubted myself she filled me with confidence and made the whole learning experience feel empowering. She truly is amazing! Thank you so much. Definitely a 5* service from start to finish.

David helped me achieve more in just two months than I had learned throughout my entire driving life before. His teaching of UK road regulations, driver responsibilities, and safe driving practices was clear, detailed, and incredibly effective. I started taking lessons with Dave Topley in February 2025, as a complete beginner. Dave was an amazing instructor, resulting in me passing my practical test in under a year. Dave really helped me with my confidence, staying calm during lessons and working at the pace that I was most comfortable with. Coming up to the test, Dave was really accommodating with booking in extra lessons around my full-time job, so that I would feel confident in my driving and manoeuvres. I’d really recommend Dave for anyone wanting to learn to drive - having recently passed, I feel ready to be solo driving in all kinds of situations. Thanks again Dave!

I recently sat an extended driving test and had Chris as my instructor. I found Chris to be very professional at his job, he made me feel at ease instantly. I made a trip from the North of Scotland to sit my test. I would highly recommend BDS and Chris. A very efficient service and I passed my test!

I could not recommend Dave more, Dave was my second instructor and he welcomed me in as his own student after I had taken a massive break from driving. I struggled a lot with stress and nerves and Dave went above and beyond, reassuring me each time along the way, up to the day of the test. Additionally, Dave is the most helpful and patient person I’ve ever met. BDS had helped me so much to get a fast test which saved me waiting months until I could take another one. I could not recommend BDS and Dave more and I am so grateful to have come across them. 100% recommend!!!! Thank you Dave!

I couldn’t recommend BDS Driving School—and Mandy in particular—highly enough. I began my lessons feeling nervous, but Mandy’s patience and encouragement quickly put me at ease. She shared practical tips and tricks that built my confidence and made learning enjoyable. Her friendly and supportive approach helped me stay calm throughout, and thanks to her guidance I passed my automatic driving test on my very first attempt.
