I came all the way from Nottingham and was extremely nervous as I was a bit older that your average learner but within minutes of being in the car with Mandy she made me feel at ease using the tapping method. If not for Mandy’s help I most definitely would not have passed and can’t recommend her enough, she’s a great teacher and bds was very professional and extremely easy to work with, they literally took care of everything. Thank you all for helping me onto the next step in my life

Can’t recommend BDS enough! I was taught by Dave Thorpe who ensured I felt confident on the roads rather than just focusing on getting me test ready.
I passed with two minors and feel very confident driving safely on my own.
He explained everything super clearly and was very patient with my learning.
Massive thanks also to Donna who found me a test slot within 10 days after having issues with my first test (the wait online was 4 months!)
Very happy to be on the roads and to feel safe driving my young daughter around.

I passed my test today! Mandy was amazing, I’ve had 4 driving instructors over the years with other companies and she was the best by far. Explains things incredibly well, in a way you can understand. She was so supportive, Really knows her stuff!! Thank you Mandy!

Dave Thorpe helped my son, Dylan, to pass his driving test the first time! Can't fault B.D.S in any way. Dylan is autistic, Dave was amazingly patient with him, keeping me updated on his progress all the way through.
Shout out to Donna too, Dylan forgot his documents for his original test date, Donna found and booked him a new date really quickly which we are ever so grateful for.
Dylan is very proud of his achievement and is looking forward to having some independence now that he can drive.

I don't think I have the words to describe Paul. He has been, from the very start, a dream to be taught by. That first day, he pulled up with a beaming smile and I instantly felt at ease. He's coached me, acted like a therapist at times and shared many a 'diva strop' when I couldn't work the clutch control! What a nightmare that was. But to go from the girl that kangaroo'd a car for fun to passing first time is down to this legend. I've laughed so much, shed a few tears but all in all loved every single second.

I can't tell you how much my life will change now and I'll be forever grateful to you.

I passed my test today and I honestly couldn’t have done it without Steve.
He is incredibly patient, calm and explains everything in a way that makes driving make sense.
Every lesson felt productive and he always made me feel safe and supported, even when I doubted myself.
If you’re looking for an instructor who genuinely cares and teaches you to be a confident, safe driver, Steve is the one.
Couldn’t recommend him enough!

BDS especially my instructor Mandy Kerr is very helpful. They are fantastic! The best instructor and the best driving school.

Blackpool driving schools intense course was fab for me. I had a 20 hour course and it was great. I passed my test after this course. I couldn’t say enough how grateful I am for the help and support given by my instructor. Liz was brilliant. She was not only fun to talk to but was amazing at showing me how to perfect my manoeuvres and drive safely. I will definitely recommend this driving school to others who are looking to pass their test.

I’ve just passed my practical driving test today, and I couldn’t have done it without Dave! Since the very first lesson, he was patient with me and made me feel at ease when driving. He made sure to teach me how to drive not only to pass the driving test but for everyday life. He always ensured I understood what I was doing and why, and most importantly, helped me build my confidence in driving. Every lesson was tailored to strengthen my weaknesses in different areas and thanks to him, I passed my test first time! I’d highly recommend Dave to anyone learning to drive as he genuinely cares about his students and their learning experience!

Learning to drive with Dave Topley was a fun and enjoyable experience. He gave me excellent, clear guidance and advice, and was always encouraging, helping me feel confident behind the wheel. I would absolutely recommend him and BDS if you wanted to learn to drive.

Steve is such a good instructor. Genuinely, I passed, first time, within 3 months, started after all of my friends (since I have a late birthday) and finished before any of them. So thankful I had him as my instructor. I’d recommend him to everyone.

I would not recommend anyone else for driving instructors Steven Waterhouse is the best in the game. The ways he teaches is perfect very understanding

my experience driving with BDS was very enjoyable and i felt not only safe but welcomed too. The entire process of learning to drive and passing my practical test was very smooth sailing due to effective organising of the school, who were able to book me a test at a near but appropriate time. This combined with the clear and detailed driving lessons means i passed first time with no hiccups along the way. If your leaning to drive i would highly recommend working with BDS!!

Shane is an excellent driving instructor — patient, professional, and great at explaining everything clearly. He really helped build my confidence behind the wheel, and every lesson was enjoyable and productive. Highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive!
