I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Steve. From the very first lesson, he was patient, calm, and understanding — especially when I was struggling with anxiety about driving. He never made me feel rushed or pressured, and always took the time to explain things clearly and build my confidence step by step.
If you’re feeling nervous or anxious about driving, Steve is the perfect instructor! Thanks for everything.

I’ve had a really nice experience with BDS. I had Dave as my instructor, could not recommend enough. Taught me down to the last detail as I’ve passed with 1 minor.

I had Lorna as an instructor, she was great. Patient, encouraging and honest. Definitely recommended. I struggle with my anxiety, and I never felt anxious in the car with her. She also helped me perform tests, and reassured me.

I did a 35hour intensive course and it was everything I hoped it would be. The instructor I had was Simon who from the first moment made me feel comfortable and confident. Highlighting the faults but also the good habits during each lesson. Donna was also great at answering any questions I had before booking my intensive course with them. Thanks to Simon I passed my driving test first time!

My driving instructor was Paul and he was great. Very patient and helpful. Explained all the manoeuvres very well and how to deal with situations on the road effectively. Highly recommend, passed first time!

I had Sally as my driving instructor and I couldn’t recommend her more! She has been so lovely as I was really nervous to start learning. She has such a great method of teaching and is so thorough, ensuring that every detail is covered to make you the best driver you can be! Sally enables students to reflect on their own driving, which is such a crucial skill to have for when you’re driving on the roads by yourself. She was always so understanding and kind, even when other road users were not 😂! Without Sally I would never have been able to pass first time and I would not feel as confident as I do about now driving by myself! She truly went above and beyond to help me and I couldn’t be more appreciative! Although I’m very excited to have passed I’m going to miss my lessons 🫶🏻

My instructor Nicola was top notch, supported me through everything was so understanding and had a great personality couldn’t recommend enough.

Dave was my driving instructor and if it wasn’t for him I don’t think I would of passed I’ve always been an anxious person and behind the wheel was no different but Dave made me feel so at ease and calm and always made me realise I could do it, he has a calm aura and instantly makes you feel at calm I can’t thank him enough he was amazing

I have completed my driving lessons with BDS. The fast pass course is more beneficial for me. I was not getting driving lessons that fit with my work schedule. Also, I find the fast pass works better because it keeps me on track. Special thanks to my amazing trainer Mandy Kerr for her excellent lessons and support.

Steve was an amazing teacher very calm and patient and always up for good conversations and never felt under pressure I recommend him as a teacher

Dave was unbelievably calm and patient with me throughout and his knowledge and expertise have helped me overcome something I struggled to get past for years. I could not recommend Dave enough to absolutely anyone who is looking to pass. Thank you!

Precautious, is how is often describe myself, so I always saw the concept of driving as overwhelming. When I had my first lesson with Steve, I knew from the sheer progress made in just 2 hours, that I had the perfect instructor! 💯 His constructive criticism/feedback has really helped me build my skills on the road! A primary focal point I’d like to mention was his confidence in my growing ability. One of last lessons, he took me on the motorway for a journey and my confidence since had been ten fold !!
Now I have just passed my test and can’t thank Steve (BDS) enough !! A Top Teacher and great company to have on lessons 👍🏻👍🏻

Very Happy to have passed my driving test after taking an automatic intensive course with Mike at BDS. From the initial contact, I was pleased with the service; everyone has been kind, efficient and helpful throughout. Mike was a great instructor and built my confidence. I was grateful for his continued encouragement and understanding when I was struggling with a manoeuvre. Thanks to his teaching, I feel confident and safe on the roads. I would recommend Mike at BDS to anyone looking to start their lessons.

This intensive driving course was perfect for my daughter. Simon the instructor was really friendly and made the atmosphere relaxed so my daughter could enjoy her lessons and learn all she needed. First time pass thanks to brilliant tuition. They also reduced the number of hours she was going to need so we got a refund.

Anybody looking for a "Fast Pass" course in Blackpool should look no further than BDS. A great experience from beginning to end. My instructor was Mike who was a joy to spend the week with. "Firm But Fair" as they say, very knowledgeable and friendly. I done a 20 hour course and was able to take it all in over the 4 days and pass my test first time. Already bought a car and the world is my oyster! Thank you to Donna for all kf the advice before the course & a massive thanks to Mike for getting me over the line. Eternally grateful.
