Passed first time with Shane! If you’re looking for a driving instructor in the Blackpool area Shane’s your man!! A real credit to BDS; made driving lessons enjoyable and could always have a chat and a laugh. He got the best out of me through his patient, accommodating but thorough approach and for that i can’t be more thankful.

I had two BDS instructors, Lorna and Russell, and they were both amazing. I changed to Russell when Lorna changed to only doing automatic lessons, but both instructors were clear and precise, and super helpful. I passed first time after 7 months of lessons, with only two minor errors, having secured a cancellation. 100% recommend BDS

I cannot recommend BDS enough. Paul taught both my children to drive and he has been amazing since their first lessons. They both loved him and he was so patient, funny and relaxed with them. They loved every lesson they had. I would highly recommend BDS and Paul is amazing at what he does and I cannot thank him enough for everything he has done for them both!!

Upon starting lessons with Shane I was very nervous to begin learning to drive. However throughout my learning experience Shane has been great allowing me to stay calm and make the most out of every lesson, whilst picking up tips and new skills each lesson. After now passing my test with 3 minors I’m feeling confident in myself to get on the road and drive safely due to the great advice throughout my lessons, would definitely recommend.

Dave Watt is a great instructor and Blackpool Driving School are great at getting a test for you. I would highly recommend them!

Dave was a great instructor for me. He turned me from a bag of nerves to a confident driver in quite a short time. Would recommend to anyone.

Couldn’t recommend Dave and BDS enough. Excellent teacher, patience in abundance and tries his very best to work around your schedule. Again couldn’t recommend Dave enough.

My driving instructor was Paul Tilling. He was a brilliant instructor, as well as a brilliant support system during my time learning how to drive. He was incredibly patient, and doesn't make you feel like you're being scrutinized at all. It was an absolute pleasure, and I passed first time because of him, I probably would not have done it without him.

My deepest recommendation for anyone learning to drive, he was absolutely brilliant and made me feel so comfortable on the road, even with my anxiety.

BDS was brilliant in structure, planning and overall really supportive. The cost is comparable to other driving schools and there is a discount if you pay for multiple lessons in advance. This is what I did, and I never felt rushed for money.

Overall, absolutely brilliant. Would recommend to anyone learning to drive.

Paul made me feel relaxed from the beginning of me learning to drive to the end of passing my test first time top bloke gives very good and honest advise and also builds your confidence in your ability for driving .

So pleased we chose BDS for my son. Nicola is a great instructor. She knows how to connect with teenagers and we're really pleased with the first time pass! Highly recommend.

I started my driving lessons with Sally Hardaker through BDS driving school in September last year, and since then she has worked with me on a weekly basis to ensure I pass my driving test. The flexible hours allowed me to fit the lessons around my working hours as well as being flexible when facing a change in circumstance. With Sally’s support, I passed my driving test with no minors at the start of this month. I highly recommend both Sally, and BDS driving school.

Couldn’t recommend this driving school enough to anyone from having a bad experience with my old instructor to meeting my new one Paul my view on driving changed I was more confident Paul was excellent he kept me calm and taught me everything I needed to know right up until test date where I passed first time so a massive thankyou to him I couldn’t of do it without you

Dave my driving instructor is amazing he was very patient with me told me when i was wrong and was happy when i did right, i would recommened to anyone that wants to start driving

Couldn't recommend Blackpool driving school enough ! I had a long and difficult experience with my driving and since coming to BDS and being instructed by Dave Topley I passed. Learning new ways, new techniques and building my confidence. Can’t thank him enough ! Brilliant company with even better instructors

Paul was absolutely fabulous instructor. He gave clear instructions and built up my confidence. I felt very much at ease and comfortable with him. He was very patient and reassuring. He was flexible working around my rota hours. I could not recommend him highly enough.

I started off my driving journey with Lorna. She was absolutely amazing. Even though I didn’t really get along with her car, she was still always a fabulous instructor.(she does have a new car now though). I was only with Lorna a couple of months before moving onto Sally, but she really did start my driving journey on a high and I will forever be grateful for that. Then I moved onto Sally. She was unbelievable. Her way of teaching is so easy to understand and I loved every lesson with her. If I had a different instructor, I wouldn’t have felt as confident in passing my driving test as I did with Sally. To think I passed my test with only 2 minors, I would never have expected that! Lorna and Sally, give yourself a pat on the back as you are both amazing instructors and I couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you for everything!

Dave was a brilliant instructor and knew exactly what I needed to make me feel at ease behind the wheel and to pass first time. I feel really confident now and I am looking forward to my new found independence with my license.
