Well what can I say Shane is an absolute 💯 legend, I was nervous in first lesson as had a lot of bad habits,(old school driving) The mighty Shane soon whipped me into shape with his caring assertive attitude when nessacry, Shane gave his time and energy and advice, and over time showed me the correct way to become a confident driver on the road. THANKYOU SO MUCH SHANE, YOU SIR ARE A LEGEND.

I paid for 10 hours for my son. Initial contact was great but once he started it went down hill, the instructor cancelled last min twice then told my son she understood if he found someone else with 1.5 hours of driving left. She picked him up late yet dropped him off on time but denied that! His progress on the app hadn't been updated after the 1st couple of hours and her contact was rubbish!

We now have to find a new driving instructor and he will need to get used to a new car! He's had no proper apology and they've given a 2 hour extra refund as a 'good will' gesture! Terrible service for a first time experience for him!

I had the kindest instructor Steve and we got on so well!! He helped me so much with my driving nerves and i can’t thank him enough for helping me pass with 0 minors.

Had a great time learning with Dan in Blackpool! I passed first time with 2 minors. Genuinely easy and straight forward to learn and he was very patient. He knew the test routes and area very well, so I was confident when it came to the test. Highly recommend to hire Dan!!

Russell wheeler is an amazing instructor. He explained everything in clear and precise detail. I passed my test first time this week and I would highly recommend Russel to anyone who is looking for a driving instructor

Dave has been an absolute legendary instructor, He has patience and his experience shows! I never thought I would be driving at my age and he has helped me gain freedom and get that first time pass! Would highly recommend!!

Thank you Dave!

I had such a great experience learning to drive with Steve. He was such a nice teacher and explained everything in clear and precise detail. He went over exactly what I needed to know and adapted the lessons to suit my learning speed. The proof is in the pudding as I passed first try in under 4 months of lessons. Will genuinly miss seeing Steve each week, and it's been a pleasure to have been one of his students. Thanks again Steve.

I had a great experience learning to drive with Dave. He was always on time, a fantastic teacher, and explained everything clearly. He knew all the key test routes, which really helped me feel prepared. On the test day, he was very reassuring, which made a big difference in keeping me calm. A big thank you to Donna as well for helping move my test day back by a day! Highly recommend.

Dave Thorpe is a professional, technical and expert driving instructor. His instructions are still ringing in my ears and I hope to always follow them. His confidence in me made me confident in myself and perform well in the test. Off the road, I cannot thank him enough for his patience in answering my zillion Whatsapp messages asking for clarification on this and that related to driving. I could not recommend him enough. Thank you very much for making me appreciate the importance of being a safe driver and making me a safe driver.

I began my driving lessons with Russell Wheeler at the back end of 2023, at that point I’d only had very limited experience practicing in friends cars and that was years ago. He took me from a nervous wreck of a driver who could barely work a clutch to being a competent confident driver who now has no issues with the clutch. I passed earlier this month after over a year of lessons that were interrupted by family bereavements and other personal issues and Russell was patient and compassionate throughout. I cannot recommend him enough, an amazing instructor 10/10!

I can't thank Shane enough for helping me combat my nerves and become a more confident driver. From the moment I started lessons, he was patient, calm, and understanding, which immediately put me at ease. I had a lot of anxiety about driving, but Shane’s approach was always encouraging, helping me break down each step at my own pace. He provided clear instructions and offered gentle reassurance, helping me feel more in control behind the wheel. Thanks to his support, I was able to overcome my nerves and gain the confidence I needed to pass my test. Highly recommend Shane to anyone looking for a supportive and effective driving instructor!"

Russel has been an incredible instructor. He was incredibly patient with me during my lessons and that translated to me passing my test first time!

Amazing driving instructor helped me learn and understand everything to help me pass first time! Lovely chats as well

Thank you to Simon the driving instructor and Donna at the BDS office.

I required a full driving licence before the start of Feb 2025. So Began looking for the earliest test dates available in the UK after passing the theory test in November 2024. Blackpool was the earliest avaliable driving test centre at the time of searching, between 20th and 31st January 2025.

So I inquired at BDS for a fast pass 40 hr intensive course, and Donna was able to arrange an assessment the following week with Simon the driving instructor. After shuffling the calander about, Donna was able to fit me in the busy schedule a week before the driving test on the 31st January.

The booking was delt with smoothly by Donna and communication regarding any changes and requirements was clear and precise.

Simon provided an excellent driving experience and was able to share the knowledge and skills required to pass the driving test within the well organised 40 hrs, 1 week intensive timetable.

I enjoyed the journey, thank you.

Paul is an amazing teacher. Had the best driving lessons with him. Super cheap compared to other teachers. Super encouraging and great to talk to. Lessons flew by like nothing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a driving instructor that will get you that pass and you’ll have fun along the way!

An amazing driving school. Well organised and supportive. They take away all the extra stress that comes with learning how to drive. Dave Topley is an amazing, patient instructor and has helped me not only pass but enjoy driving.

First time practical pass, had Dave Topley who was an amazing instructor that helped me a lot and gave me the confidence I needed to pass

Couldn't recommend Dave my instructor enough, his encouragement, patience and all round teaching environment was fantastic. Great instructor became more my therapist haha, I'll miss our lessons but thank you. First time pass, he believed in me when I didn't believe in myself.

Mandy was amazing. The nerves course she has been on really helped! Intensive Course and I passed!

Came from another company that dropped me. Steven was brilliant, I had already done about 50 plus hours when joining BDS but was not comfortable with driving. Steven helped build my confidence and to stop doubting myself. Going to miss our Monday lesson but I PASSED! So thankyou, already planning with my daughter where we're going to drive too.
