My experience using Blend has been good. I find the company is very transparent and people very knowledgeable. The information packs provide detailed information and this gives me confidence that they’ve done their due diligently.

I've enjoyed using Blend Network for 3+ years now, as a simple way to diversify my investment portfolio. The platform is simple to use and they communicate well by keeping you up to date with projects you have invested in. I'd like more projects on the platform so I can invest more frequently.

The Blend team were very easy to work with throughout my project. I was referred to Blend after having borrowed from several banks in the past, and I really liked their approach to lending as well as their highly professional attitude and fantastic customer service

Blend is really focused on quality loans. It might not be the fastest to get your money deployed, but you can be confident your money is invested in loans that have gone through a serious due diligence.

The one thing that nobody mentions is how clean and clear the the user experience is. Some over complicate their sites, making them a chore to navigate. Blend is without doubt one of the best.

The return on these Blend's investments are far better than those I can get elsewhere but I did get frustrated because there were fewer deals to invest in over the last year or so. However, this is very different now with plenty of investments coming up every other day. I have only a small amount of capital in the app and when there's an investment coming up (Blend email with deals which are coming up the day before) I transfer the capital I have decided to Auto Loan. This means that there's only a small amount of capital + the interest I'm making sitting in the account and the rest of the capital is making a great return.

I have been a P-2-P investor for a few years (much better rates than banks). Blend Network are excellent. The process is straight-forward, data is transparent and easy to understand, returns are very good and their customer service is second to none. Nice people delivering a very good product.

I have been investing with B.Lend since June of 2021, the first year I was able to invest in 3 projects, 2022 was much better having invested in 7 projects, this year however I have only had access to 1 investment and similarly to other investors, this has meant that money has sat on the platform for much of the year earning nothing. I have just under 20K to 'play' with on the platform so each investment I make is 3k per loan. I do this to spread the risk rather than putting all my eggs in 1 basket. Currently, my return on my investment is 3.85%, this changes every time a lender makes a payment but is lower than I make in Savings ISA's.
The Autoloan feature is a great tool but with a large pool of investors means that you are often left queuing. The math for this is fairly simple. Investors who are prepared to invest larger sums of money will often cover all or part of any available loan therefore those investing smaller amount are left queuing if those larger investors are ahead of them in the queue especially when there are only a hand full of borrowers wishing to borrow money. And with Borrowing Interest being so high that is understandable. Though I am bound to be bias, I think that the system would afford far greater opportunities for all investors using the platform if Autoloan were set to a maximum or 50% of the total loan. This would provide greater opportunities for investors while reducing the risk to those who can only afford to invest smaller amounts. So with a £250,000 loan If the first investor in line is able to afford a £125,000 stake, this still leaves £125,000 for other investors in the queue, assuming that a £5000 limit is set this provides the opportunity for a minimum of 25 other investors to invest. This of course is assuming that B.Lends systems are either set up or able to adapt to cope with this type of investment strategy.

The Blend team were very friendly and easy to work with. They offered guidance and support where needed, and were very quick in responding to emails and answering calls. The company is run extremely professionally. Blend is a real testament to a well run business.

I'm with many of the other reviewers on here - your money simply sits around too long in their bank account waiting in a queue for investing. My money has been sitting in their client account earning nothing for 6 months. Factor that in, and their claimed 8-12% pa is hard to achieve. If only they could turn money around faster and get it working quicker it would be a great investment opportunity. Their standard answer on here about 'quality investments' ignores the issue investors keep raising with them. I think you can find better overall returns with other lenders.

A fantastic opportunity to invest in syndicated property loans without hassle. I like how Blend presents the information on each deal very clearly and transparently and it feels like the due diligence on each deal is very strong. Sometimes you do need to wait for a few weeks until your money is deployed, but certainly worth the wait from my point of view.

Product and returns are very good. I had a couple of issues regarding lack of email communication from them just recently but once I spoke them about it they did an excellent job of sorting out the problem.

The investment can only be made in multiples of 1000.00. So if you have say a little more than a thousand but less than two thousand from a previous repayment with interest accrued, you still can reinvest only a thousand into another loan through auto invest. The spare cash will have to be withdrawn or to be retained until it grows from subsequent repayments, to a thousand. So this is not a platform where you can put in a sum of money & keep reinvesting it to allow it to grow. You will have to withdraw your interest & if you wish to compound it, re invest in another platform as you can't compound it here. I did mention this to their customer service who promised to escalate it but I don't think anything will come out of it as I'm pretty sure that lots of other lenders have brought it up with them. There are other lenders like CapitalRise who too have a minimum investment of £1000.00, but in them you can invest any amount, as long as it's 1000.00 & above.

Just to respond to Blends reply below. I have now had £4k on the platform waiting to invest in a project. I have been in the lending queue for 6 months and have missed I think 5 or 6 opportunities. All the while it's earning me zero interest. I'm moving my cash onto another platform as this is a waste of time. They shouldn't accept your money if they have virtually no chance of investing it.

Think this is a decent company but there are issues you need to be aware of before investing. First is that your money can sit in this platform for months while you wait in a queue to invest. All that time it isn't earning you any interest. The second is that when you get to finally invest the borrower can repay early meaning your money is back at the end of the lending queue. If you factor this in and the risks then your money might actually be better off in a high interest bond or even a savings account. the average interest on Blend is 8% you can now get 6% on a bond. The actual returns you get with Blend factoring the loan queue and early repayment is very poor. I’m now moving my money to alternative investment platforms

I really like this company. They seem very genuine. Their project and industry updates are great and their direct communications with investors are prompt, professional and friendly.

However, the length of time it takes to Invest even a minimal amount (£1000) can be months. Perhaps during times when there are less loans available the maximum investment can be reduced?

Very accommodating and flexible when varying the terms of the deal due to COVID delays.
Would certainly use again.
