Horrendous experience. Do not use.

Honestly horrendous experience with their customer service and returns portal.
I placed a big order to give me options for an event I had coming up. I kept about a third of the order and needed to return the rest.
Attempted to do this about 2 days after receiving the order but their online returns portal would not recognise my order number, despite a million attempts in a million different ways.
I reached out via email to their Aus and UK email addresses with no response at all to this day (over 7 weeks later at this point).
So then tried their other methods - FB messenger, SMS and Instagram msg.
It always put me onto their AI bot first who couldn’t help so always ended up referring me to an agent.
However, as their customer service is based in UK, the agents would only come online in the middle of the night AU time.
They would then ask me the same questions that I had already answered to the bot, and if I didn’t reply immediately (because it was 3am my time) it would time out and when I did reply the AI bot was back and the agent had gone.

Even when I waited up in the night for an agent to respond (as I was due quite a big refund so didn’t want the return window to close), the agents still were no help or went hours without replying and then the Bot was back.

I genuinely had the same cycle of conversation with a Bot to get through to an agent about 15 times before someone finally was able to lodge the return for me!!

I finally sent the return back which was delivered to Boohoo on 03/04/26.
I had no contact from them until 27/04/26 where they say they have received the return and are processing my refund, but they have left off 3 items from the refund!!!

All these items were in the same package and 1 of the items was a pair of cowboy boots, so they could hardly be missed!!

I don’t understand how they could have lost those 3 items but now I am in a battle to get hold of customer service again to have those 3 items recognised.

It’s been a nightmare from start to finish and I would never ever order from Boohoo again.

Absolutely disgusting way at handling their stuff ups!! I paid $30 express for a tracksuit in particular and ordered a couple other things on sale , and of course my tracksuit isn’t in there , they sent me someone else’s item and have told me to send it back before i get my tracksuit that i needed this week!!! No refund, no money back for paying express and im literally talking to a robot! They have no actual people responding or dealing with there problems that they have caused. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE , the sizing is different in every item and lower quality than temu ! And after reading other reviews if u send it back u will still be paying for the items anyway with no refunds!! Looks like a social media boycott needs to happen and legal action

Makes returns too costly and hard

It happened to me twice that they will not refund you the whole amount instead will deducted handling charges from it and return postage label cost as well. This way they are forcing us not to buy online.
The shopping items become even more expensive if we spread the cost of double postage cost and your handling costs.
There's no guarantee that everything will fit right when buying online, there will always be returns . But Boohoo is such a rip off when you do returns. $15 for return and $15.5 for handling returns. Just give me $31.5 back. Never shopping here again

Boohoo systems are failing cannot locate my order or Afterpay account for a refund

I am beyond frustrated with Boohoo’s refund process. I have returned my items, but Boohoo is claiming they cannot "connect" my email, my order number, and my Afterpay account.
These are the exact details from my original confirmation, yet Boohoo’s support is using "technical errors" as an excuse to delay my refund. It is not an Afterpay issue; it is a Boohoo system failure.
I have proof of postage and my original order details. I expect Boohoo to manually override this error and process my refund immediately. This is professional negligence.

Straight in the bin

Ordered 3 lingerie items, spent over $70. None were the same as the pictures, quality is dreadful. Total and utter scam. $15 to return looks to be throwing more good money after bad.

Ordered 2 piece tracksuit and received…

Ordered 2 piece tracksuit and received top only. Asked to send the pants. Only option is to return the top for refund, or will refund half price. Top no good to me, happy to return, but at a cost of $15. When you pay $15 for initial postage, that means $30 for nothing! Or I can keep & get refund of $32 - which leaves me $50 out of pocket, donation to goodwill. Either way, I am paying for nothing. I just wanted the pants as per 2 piece item, which apparently they cannot provide. Why did they not say so initially and send half the item??? We would call this a scam

DO NOT RECOMMEND…

I am an online shopper with vast experience across several companies. However, I have had a terrible experience with this company! Have been waiting 18 days for someone to respond to me. Items sent are very poor quality and no ability to return these at sellers cost! Also no communication - I will NOT be purchasing from them again or recommending them to anyone.

Do not buy from Boohoo Australia!!

Do not buy from Boohoo Australia!!! It's no longer a trusted company. Check Facebook out and see the complaints. I ordered a dress for my daughters Formal and a bag to go with her dress. They scam you into believing the items are delivered and then you can't reach them. We lodged a complaint with PayPal immediately with all our documentation that Thankfully I screenshot the order once placed on the screen, the PayPal email, with the order number and items on it. When I got in touch with customer care they kept claiming the order number and my email didn't match any orders! I have literally brought from boohoo tons of times before so there is no way my email is not there! Clearly they are under new international scammers! Do not use the whatsapp at all! It is a scam and will drain your account or take money from you! Boohoo Australia you should be ashamed of yourselves and your being reported to the ACCC!! If I could do zero stars I would!

DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM BOOHOO ONLINE COMPANY, IT IS NOT A GENUINE COMPANY. IT IS OWNED BY SCAMMERS. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK IF YOU RETURN SOMETHING

I am very surprised that the government is still allowing BOOHOO online company to continue operating in the UK.
I bought a jumper (orders No: UK1123440168) and it was too big. I returned the jumper and I received an acknowledgement email and I was given tracking number OV550197595GB.

I have been trying to get my refund since 15 October 2025. And all I get are messages saying; (A refund has been successfully issued for your order. The total amount is 24.96 GBP. Refunds typically take up to 5 working days for card payments and up to 24 hours). And I never received the refund. Recently I received a response from someone by the name of Rebecca saying; (Whilst we do utilise AI to resolve simpler queries, you can request to speak to an agent at any point in the conversation, and the system will transfer you to the next available advisor). I have so far tried several times to request to speak to an agent and now they have stopped responding to my request.
Boohoo has now cut communication with me, they no longer respond to my messages.
Why in God’s name is the UK Government still allowing BOOHOO TO OPERATE?
They are taking people’s money every day.
This company is not a genuine company. It is being operated by SCAMMERS.
If that REBECCA who responded to my message surely exists, how does she sleep at night knowing that she gives false information to people who are trying to get their money back knowing that it’s a scam.

I PRAY THAT PEOPLE WILL READ BOOHOO REVIEWS BEFORE THEY ORDER ANYTHING FROM THE SCANDALOUS BOOHOO ONLINE COMPANY

Well furnished scam hole

I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering because my experience with the company is exactly like other reviews.
Paid for the item in full and paid for express shipping. Didn't receive any confirmation or shipping information. Contacted them after 2 weeks, still nothing.
Tried a different channel which lead to a bot which was effectively useless.
Thankfully I could get my refund through PayPal but it's a sad and disappointing waste of time and effort

Terrible company/customer service

I purchased an item over a week ago & although the funds were deducted from my PayPal account I did not receive a confirmation email. I emailed customer service 3 x times but have had no response. I also sent them a message on messenger but just got the normal ai response saying they’re customer service team are experiencing delays blah blah blah. I submitted a complaint through resolver. I did get a response from resolver but I doubt very much I will get one from boohoo. I’m going to request a refund from PayPal hopefully I can get my $$ back. Stay clear of this company. They shouldn’t be accepting payments when they cannot deliver the goods

Boohoo is likely going under, stay away!

Like other people, I’ve recently been scammed by Boohoo, they took my money, but never confirmed the order and it’s not even showing in my Boohoo account. No response from customer service so now I’m having to lodge a PayPal dispute. This company is showing all the signs of a company about to go under, stay away!

DO NOT ORDER! SCAM

Never even recieved an order confirmation, but they sure did take my money. After waiting a week and a half I attempted to reach out to the company via every channel they had. Text message I recieved a generic response stating I would get a real response at some “delayed” point. I never got a response there. Also emailed and got nothing. Sent message over their Facebook and was talking to an ai. I don’t know what happened to the company as I used to buy from it a lot pre 2020. Lucky I used PayPal so was able to get full refund
