We had a great experience during our tour in Petra. Our tour guide, Ahmed, was very friendly and kind, and he explained the history of Petra to us.

I booked the Petra from Eilat day tour with Booking-Tours and overall had a very solid experience. Pickup from my hotel in Eilat was on time, and communication via WhatsApp the day before was clear and helpful. The bus was comfortable, and the guide explained the plan calmly at each stage, including the border crossing. The border process took a bit longer than expected, but the team helped with paperwork, so it wasn’t stressful. In Petra we had enough time to explore and take photos without rushing. Lunch was simple but fine for a long day. For the price and organization, it was definitely worth it. I would recommend Booking-Tours and would book with them again.

Was really nice and chilled.... Beautiful easy to find and it was a beautiful view from the glass bottom would definitely recommend!!!

We booked a tour that was advertised as being in English.

It was ALL in Hebrew. While we understood most of what was said, I know we missed some important info.

The service was great, very comfortable car and the guide was amazing. Really intelligent guy who knew everything about the region.

We undertook a tour with Booking Tours which was booked via Tour Radar. The tour was from 7th until 26th September covering Israel, Jordan and Egypt.

Generally the tour went well and all tours and pick-ups were organized etc..., however, in most cases we were not made aware ahead of time what the arrangements were, and there was always uncertainty as to whether the next step was in place. Earlier notifications of the details was expected and would have been helpful.

Queries were generally dealt with quickly, but in a dismissive manner, with minimal information supplied. I think they have forgotten that for many people any tour might be a first one, and they should assist accordingly by providing more information.

One error that was made was to book for bed and breakfast and then schedule every pickup before breakfast was available. In our case, breakfast boxes were not provided by the hotel, which Booking Tours should have checked, They did provide a refund promptly however.

The organization, richness of the tours, and mobilizing a visa on arrival were helpful. I enjoyed Ahmad company as the tour guide.

More communication about the other activities for the 2-day tour would have been helpful. I didn't know that were options for boat rides etc.

We booked a 10-day Luxury Private tour of Israel. Overall, we enjoyed the trip, but there were some disappointments and several surprises that were not clear in the offering materials.
The best part was that the guides were quite good. Our guide on the second day seemed to be willing to stay with us until 7 pm, but we had not energy for that. Perhaps he was paid by the hour! The connections to and from the airports were flawless. One flaw was that none of the guides offered us a map of the country or locations we were visiting. We had to get our bearings on our own.
On the first three days, our guides (Gil and Eli) charged us for parking fees and entry fees. Thankfully, you have refunded these fees. We wonder if these two guides were reimbursed by the tour company as well as collecting from us. Our fourth guide (Sarah) paid for all fees. On the last day, Moti also paid for all fees.
Our guide on the third day, Gil, skipped the visit to the Dead Sea Scrolls. Instead, he just summarized it verbally while driving past it on the highway. When we said that the visit was on our itinerary, he replied: “It’s optional.” Ha Ha! He evidently wanted to get home early that day, as he dropped us off at our hotel at the Dead Sea at about 2:30 pm. Thus, we did not get the full-day tour for which we paid. Gil had incorrect information about which was our hotel at the Dead Sea, but it was cleared up by phone calls just prior to our arrival.
We did not understand that we would have no continuity of service from Bookings. Tour guides picked us up in the morning and returned us to our hotel at the end of the day. We did not have the names of our guides in advance, and were not provided with a telephone number to reach them.
As a private tour we were to have some discretion over sites visited. Some guides understood this while others did not. The itinerary in the offering materials for the days in the Galilee made little sense, but our guide (Moti) was able to construct tours that worked.
Our major complaint is that you promoted this as a luxury tour, yet there was little luxurious about it. Our Jerusalem and Dead Sea hotels were good. Our Tel Aviv hotel was less than good. Our 3-day kibbutz stay was not good. At the kibbutz, the room was not properly cleaned when we arrived. The TV was tiny and barely functional. We were nowhere near places to eat the evening meal and transportation to/from dinner was not easy. We tipped someone to drive us to and from dinner one night. However, the kibbutz breakfast was excellent. We think you owe us a partial refund for the three nights we spent at the kibbutz.
In the evenings, we wanted to watch the French Open tennis at the hotels, but the hotel in Tel Aviv did not offer that channel. Also, at that hotel, I asked at the desk clerk if they could change a 100 NIS bill. The answer: “No.” Also, in that hotel, the thermostat was set to a temperature that was too cold for us, but it COULD NOT be changed. The hotel desk clerk advised with a smile: “You could turn it off.” Though the location was good, the breakfast at that hotel was plentiful but not the best.
We added a day trip to Petra, expecting it to be of the same quality as the rest of our trip. Far from it! We traveled on 40-person buses and toured with the same large group. The walking tour was long, and we had to pay $50 for a return golf-cart ride.

it was frustrating. payment for a 2-day tour. the car was 1 hour late to pick us up. when we got on the bus, everyone got mad because we were late. it wasn't our fault. to make matters worse they put us on the wrong bus. we had to change transport to get to the places we bought. payment for 2 days tour with 2 lunches, 1 dinner and 1 breakfast and we didn't get what we paid for. I do not recommend this agency

Well organised trip. Everything ran to plan. Food and accomodation were satisfactory, and guides were very good, and helpful.

Driver who picked me up at Tel Aviv Airport 4:30am left me at Orchid Hotel to meet tour bus at 7am. Went into Orchid Hotel, told I should go to put my luggage at TLV88 hotel across the street instead as Orchid Hotel only a meeting place for tour buses. I have to walk across the street myself in the dark and could not find such hotel. Finally 3 yong men on the street helped me to find the hotel, but it was locked. I have to go back to Orchid Hotel and begged tour bus to let me keep the luggage in the bus as tour bus does not accept large luggage.

Then, after day tour 4/7/2023, tour bus does not know where is TLV88 hotel and only told to drop me off at Orchard Hotel. Again, I walked across the street and now TLV88 is open, but what a surprise. This hotel has no lobby it only shares a reception desk with the restaurant on the first floor. Hotel opens 9am to 6pm and receptionist gave me a code to enter hotel if I return to hotel after hour. Then found out my room was on 3rd floor without elevator. At age 73 I have to drag luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Then found out there is no phone in room to call hotel staff for question like WiFi. Breakfast at 9am when restaurant opens therefore, no breakfast for all 4 day stay there as tours start at 6:45am. Then, it gets worse, when I returned 7pm I was looking for hotel receptionist, the restaurant staff told me there is no hotel staff around I need to call with phone number back of the front door. Then, after restaurant closes at night, the door is locked and I could not hear anybody else in the hotel. I am the only person locked inside a hotel without staff or other residents. It is scaring. What happens if I have an emergency? How could a hotel ever operates legally like this? Do you know this hotel to put me in there. It is not even fit to be a hotel let alone 3 star, even Motel 6 in USA has better accommodation than this TLV88.

Then, when I could not find flight info from Tel Aviv to Jordan border, I have to email TourRadar in USA, they sent me a photo copy of the flight schedule which I could not read, then finally sent me a note that flight was delayed and gave me Airline name and flight number so I could even know what airline I am to take. How come no eticket or flight info given to me prior to my departnure for the 12 day tour. How irrespondsible.

3. From the itinerary it reads that I would be transferred from Jorday to Egyot border to board a tour bus 10 hr drive to Cairo from Tabot border. But, when I asked Jordan Tour Guide, he said he only to take us all back to Isarel border and does not know whol is to take me to Tabot Egypt border. I finally, called Simo who picked me up at Eliak airport to drive me to Jordah border and indeed he is to drive me to Tabot border after he drops off others at Eliak Airport to fly back to Tel Aviv.

4. The Egypt and Nile part of the tours turned out to be much better.

Therefore, I am very much disappointed with the Israel part of the tour particularly the hotel you booked for me to stay. The unclear info re: my flight from Tel Aviv to Eliak and how am I to be transferred from Jorday to Tabot border. It is indeed a nightmare. I would never recommend anybody book such a tour from such compay.

Il tour per Petra è stupendo ed il sito archeologico merita la sua visita. Il tour con il ristorante (veramente ottimo) è molto valido, tuttavia l’esperienza prenotata può essere migliorata prevedendo la partenza del tour anche dal porto di Aqaba per chi era in crociera come me (il punto di prelievo era distante 30 minuti a piedi). Un commento a parte sulla guida assolutamente inidonea, incompetente e menefreghista per questi motivi: 1) la guida ha tenuto un pullman intero con tutti i passeggeri a bordo fermo, prima di arrivare a Petra, per 30 minuti perché si è fermata in un negozio suo amico senza giustificazione. Diversi passeggeri si sono lamentati ma senza essere ascoltati. Preciso che per i tempi ristretti dell’ escursione perdere 30 minuti per niente è tantissimo ed infatti la visita si è ridotta solo al tesoro dovendo escludere il resto (teatro, convento etc) perché non avevamo sufficiente tempo per arrivarci a piedi e rientrare con l’orario di ripartenza del pullman.
2) arrivati all’ingresso del sito dopo averci dato il biglietto, la guida ha abbandonato il gruppo e ci ha lasciati da soli; camminava spedita non aspettava nessuno e se n’è fregata totalmente.
3) al ritorno a piedi dal tesoro verso il ristorante prenotato ed incluso nel tour abbiamo visto la guida chiedere ed ottenere un passaggio ad una golf car, fregandosene del tour e del suo gruppo.
4) Abbiamo rivisto la guida quando abbiamo ripreso l’autobus per rientrare.
Peccato un’esperienza a metà rovinata da questo personaggio che si è spacciata per guida ma non ha fatto il suo lavoro per il quale abbiamo pagato.
Le tre stelle sono per il sito ed il ristorante veramente top e meritevoli !!

We book „one day tour to Petra“ from Aqaba, Jordan. Our hotel is close by car to the border of Israel, where the tour bus with a lot of tourists where coming from. A driver picked us up at the hotel an drove us to the border to get picked up from the tour guide with the bus. The whole tour was great, the guide was funny. Until we get back to the border to Aqaba. The tour guide told us that nobody knows how we get back to our hotel. No one there to pick us up from the border. Finally the bus driver took us in to the city. But was not happy about the little Detour. But then, without a comment he kicked us off on the street without getting us to the hotel. He didn’t speak English or didn’t want to speak or understand. He was very rude and unfriendly. Almost aggressive when we asked and bagged him to bring us to the hotel. End of story: we needed to walk over 2.2 km back to the hotel. It would be easy for him to drop us there. So I cannot recommend booking-Tours. The don’t fulfill there contracts and keep you safe. They take your money and kick you off the bus. That’s why I‘m giving 2 starts for the operator, but 5 stars for the Petra-Experience! Booking-tour need to improve on costumer service and keeping promises :0( Sad…

I enjoyed the excursion a lot! But the formalities in the border were complicated and we didn´t have any assistance in that procedures.

Varaus oli klo 11.00 - kun menimme kysymään 10.45, jolloin meidän piti jo olla paikalla, kerrottiin, että laiva lähtee 11.30, että kapteeni ei ole vielä tullut ;-) Sitten kerrottiin, että ei ole mitään asiaa laivaan, jollette käy vaihtamassa puhelimen appissa näkyvää varausta paperisiin lippuihin toimistossa laiturin alkupäässä, no okei, sen voisi etukäteen mainita, kun varaus on tehty, jos vaikka kiireellä joku tulisi paikalle - tuota ei voi mitenkään asiakas tietää. Nähtiin muutamia kalaparvia, aika sameaa oli. Delfiinialtaan kohdalle mentiin, josko näkyisi delfiinejä - no, sen noin 3-5 min aikana, mitä siinä oltiin, ei näkynyt yhtään - eli joko niitä ei siinä ole, tai oli ihan liian lyhyt aika odottaa, josko näkyisi. Ei kovin hyvin järjestetty kuvio kaiken kaikkiaan, henkilökunta ei myöskään ollut mitenkään ystävällistä, pikemminkin päinvastoin, tylyä ja tylsistynyttä.

I didn't enjoy my trip, because 3 hours is not enough to view petra. I regret not booking a taxi and spending more time in Petra without guide - it was going to be much cheaper.

Although the lunch was amazing, and both the guide and the driver were very experienced.

We had an amazing time with the 8 day Jordan experience. Would recommend on your first down day in Amman to request a tour of the Dead Sea and Amman. Have them arrange it or ask if they can provide an add-on tour. Also, clarify times to pick up prior to your drop off.

Wadi-Rum desert and Petra were amazing! Time in Aqaba could have spent better.

Hello, we had a booking for 10:00 am by the Hilton Hotel in Akaba, Jordan. It started by 10:30 am and the Bus driver collected some Tourists in other Akaba Hotels. Same in the end, some 10 Tourists were driven to Israels Borderline. I understand, that the Tour-Guides wanted to make some more money and gave some other people a 'lift', but this was by fare not okay! I would not recommend you to any other Tourists, never.
