Worse than Dreadful - Ordered items a month ago still nothing
I ordered two x Brasher Country Roamer Walking poles back in 27/12/20 and still nothing has arrived. The money has came out my account okay, why then no products? This is the fourth time I've tried ordering something from this company's website, the other three times I've had no deliveries but items cancelled and refunded eventually. The communication with their customers is dreadful, which is a shame because they do produce quality gear. My advice to anyone reading this is not to buy from them.

As with other reviews; this is by far the worst online service Iâve ever received ( or not received!!)
Ordered goods on 2/1/21, and after 2 weeks of trying to trace my order, via multiple phone calls ,18 e-mails and 5 customer service representatives, I cancelled my order and requested a refund. Up to date I still have not received this and am currently waiting for this to return to my account?
They literally havenât got a clue, and if this is the way they treat customers before they receive their goods, there is literally no chance of after sale service?
My advice is to steer clear, and save yourself the aggravation.

Do not use this company!! Disgrace!!!
I ordered a pair of boots over a week ago, when I ordered them they were in stock. I was getting text messages daily to state my order was working itâs way through the warehouse and that my order would be with me shortly. What a load of absolute nonsense! Then I received an email to say that I had been refunded due to my order being out of stock, an absolute shambles of a company. I wish I had looked at the reviews before I placed an order. I can see this company going out of business very soon. On a positive note I placed an order for a pair of Salamon boots last night, directly from them, I got a confirmation today that they are on there way and I will receive my order tomorrow. Brasher you should maybe try being efficient and stop lying to customers!!

Tried ordering a Brasher fleece directly from Brasher after Millets messed it up and couldn't believe when it came from Millets who messed up again. When I tried emailing Brasher to complain - the email acknowledgement came from... you guessed it... Millets! Avoid Brasher and Millets websites - a total stressful headache.

Absolutely terrible sizes in their clothes, I bought an extra large mens fleece jacket.
It fits like a medium totally useless and nowhere near an extra large, first time and last time I buy brasher.
Edit, have given it to my daughter who is 12 and she wears size 8/10 women's clothes. Fits her better than it fits me!

style over substance
I bought a pair of Brasher walking boots almost 2 years ago for a trip to Canada. Nice boots and over £100 so not cheap. apart from this trip they only get occasional weekend walks now
OK, so they were great for the trip but less than 18 months down the line the stitching is coming apart and the suede padded area around the ankle is splitting.
unfortunately they don't get my seal of approval.

Order number 204090962. Yet again I have been let down by Brasher. They cancelled my order 2 days before Christmas. On Boxing Day the boots were again available on their website. I re ordered and lo and behold they have yet again cancelled the order. What an absolute shambles.

I also would give zero star if possible. Ordered online 5th of December. Used online enquiry form to chase for an update, took ages to respond even though it is apparently an automated response. No point responding to them as email address is "unmanned".
Have heard today they are only sending 1 of 2 items ordered as when they went to pick the items (only 17 days after order placed) only 1 item was delivered in stock. No tracking facility provided despite what was originally promised so no way of being able to tell them the item will be refused by me when delivery is finally attempted.

Terrible service, Avoid this company
I wish I had read these reviews before ordering some walking boots from the Brasher website. I placed my order a week ago, they took my payment without a delay, and have since had 'apologies for the delay' messages from Millets. My order number is not recognised on the track my order function on either the Brasher website or Millets, they do not respond to emails and the Live Chat function doesnt understand anything you type. It seems like a scam to me.

Trust Pilot will not let me rate Brasher at zero stars. The web site takes money very efficiently, then no goods, no communication, no contact. Whatâs the difference between that and a scam? Attempts to contact customer service leads you to Millets customer service who cannot (will not?) help. They promise to get back to you and never do. So Millets are part of the scam too.
DO NOT ORDER FROM BRASHER ONLINE. THEY ARE NOT TRADING AT PRESENT.

I purchased a pair of walking shoes from Brasher. I heard nothing from them for some time. After spending hours trying to get through on the phone, I eventually spoke to someone who informed me that the shoes were out of stock. She offered me a refund which I accepted, trouble is, they have not refunded me. Terrible customers service, a rubbish website. Avoid at all cost.
Sizing is extremely optimistic
Due to Covid19 lockdown I ordered these online. I got my usual size (10) but when the boots arrived they were actually around a full size smaller, and a very narrow fit.
Didn't bother ordering the next size up, as I felt even that would have still been too narrow. Also there other things which suggested indifferent quality, for instance the leather was very hard and also blotchy surface finish. The sole to leather bonding was cheap looking too.
The killer thing was the sizing being too small, I've had dozens of pairs of boots and never seen this. Incidentally I've had safety workboots at a 1/3 the price of these which were far better quality footwear.
Time wasters = avoid!
My wife ordered and paid for a pair of Brasher shoes from what ostensibly appears to be the "Brasher" website on 22/11. It appears that Blacks Outdoor Retail Ltd trading as Millets are the owners of this domain. During the following week we received multiple marketing e mails from Millets, including Black Friday deals and several e mails apologising for the delay in dispatching the order. One week on and "Brasher" e mail to say they have no stock left and a refund will be made . Fair play, but why waste a week of a customer's time in getting to this stage? Why offer and take payment for items you cannot supply? Brasher, Blacks, Millets do not have an IT or Inventory management system that is capable of supporting their on line shopping offering. Just checked and the Brasher website still has these shoes on offer at 21:18 on 29/11, having stated in the last hour by e mail that they are out of stock. AVOID!

Ordered a jacket, received confirmation email with order number and 3 days later an email saying they didnât have any stock and were refunding. The refund was instant.
The product and size is still very much available to buy on their website, despite the CS (millets) telling me they update their website every few minutes on stock levels.
Utter nonsense. If itâs not on the millets site itâs not available on the brasher site regardless of what it tells you.
Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. They take the payment from your account immediately. They don't send you a confirmation email so then you have no idea what is happening.
We called the call centre, who told us to order again. Again, no confirmation email/order number is sent out. But, alas, they took my money... TWICE.
Called and asked them to cancel one order - they say that they can't and I have to wait, take delivery, then make a trip into town to refund it?!
Called again when items still hadn't arrived. Was told not dispatched yet(!) but this time, I COULD cancel one of the orders... Of course...
Still waiting for the refund... called and was told to wait a little longer!!!!!! The CS agent didn't bother looking at my account - so I kindly requested she made the effort to. You know, because I would like my money back please.
Apparently it will be in the bank on Friday. We shall see.
Please go ahead and order with them if you want to take the risk...
