Excellent, the delivery guy is a star and a real help on our deliveries

If you want your product on time, don’t use this company! If you want your product as advertised, don’t use this company! If you want your product to arrive damaged, use this company. Following delivery and as instructed by the driver I emailed advising of damages upon delivery. No response. When I contacted them through PayPal, they advised they hadn’t been contacted and that I was acting in bad faith. This is now on a full dispute with PayPal whilst the supplier is still being very unreasonable, despite the fact I’m not 5 weeks of not having a roof on my property.

Happy to award 5 stars for the worst customer service and arrogance.

Hopefully we’ll get this sorted before long.

I am a small business based on the Devon and Cornwall border. Instead of using mainstream big businesses, I often look around for more local-based businesses. In this instance I was asked to supply roofing sheets for a client.

I came across this company and called up and spoke to a lady about the possibility of a trade account. I said could I have a quote emailed please and it would have to be delivered and she said we can do something on the delivery. I received a quote in the region of £350 and there is no delivery charge on the quote, even though there was a delivery address written on it.

I went back to my client showed them the quote and they said yes please to the order and I said could we add an extra sheet just in case of any potential damage or breakages, and they said yes. I again phoned up the company. Only this time I had a gentleman laugh at me in regards to a trade account. He says that unless I provided them with £4000 I am not entitled to a trade account and that he would add an additional sheet on and add the delivery cost as well and emailed it over. The extra amendments added an additional £100. I emailed the company and asked them to politely rectify the situation to which I got an abrupt email saying that this is the cost take it or go elsewhere. No apology for any mix up, or a we will make sure it doesn't happen again, and that sort of reply is not good in this day and age especially when it involves small businesses. I now have to tell the client that they will have to pay extra due to another companies mis information.

Excellent service from start to finish, problems solved no hassle.

Staff helpful and product good

A lot of promises and no delivery even though I have emails saying that they would deliver on a certain day I had 3 different days promised and the delivery cost refunded , this didn’t happen 🤔 too busy blaming each other, no consideration for man power wasting time not able to finish the job

Delivery by Tony was excellent.
This was the positive.
The negatives, delivery date of 24th suddenly changed to 29th then on the 29th time changed constantly up until 2230 to 2330hrs. No notifications and no delivery. Tony telephoned early on 30th and delivered win 30 mins.
No fixing screws were sent and totally wrong corrugated infills sent.
Delivery great the rest poor.

The initial quotation
Saw their amazing products online and wasn’t sure what I needed for a garage roof build. A quick phone call and I am met with the salesman Josh. Josh is exactly what a salesman is seen as, sells you the world, and is never heard from again.

Josh helped build the kit for my garage roof and sent a quotation with a promotion price applied. Called every day after that to check everything is good with the quote and to see if I wished to proceed.

Eventually I did, payment taken over the phone and informed delivery is 5-10 days from order day. I would receive a text message with information about delivery.

And then into thin air did briarwood supplies and josh vanish.

Purchased on 07/04. Heard nothing from the company at all, so called them on the 24/04. Josh was suddenly ‘busy’ to take my call, and was met with someone else who didn’t give me their name.

‘Due to drivers being off for personal reasons’ my delivery was delayed. Nobody thought to contact me to inform me of this. I expressed my frustration and was also understandable. I asked that the delivery be the week commencing 28/04 as the week after I can’t accept delivery. This was passed to the transportation manager.

I also sent in an email re-iterating this and also requesting a refund if it is not possible to deliver the week of 24/04. This email has been ignored. Called today, not so understanding this time. Was left on hold whilst they spoke to the transportation manager who said the delivery is estimated on 08/05. The week I explicitly said is not possible.

I then asked them to refund me whilst I was on the call, seeing as it was clear they was not interested in anything or than the fact they now have over £1200 from me. ‘Refunds have to go through emails’. How much they had to back track when I mentioned the email I sent that nobody has responded to.

Do not use this business, if you can call it that. I have to put 1 start to leave a review. They will take your money, then wash their hands. I can only assume half of these reviews are purchased marketing tools. I am still yet to either receive an order, or a refund.

EDIT AFTER BRIARWOOD RESPONSE -
After leaving reviews on multiple platforms their manager has been in contact and issued the refund. On their response they mention the email I sent at midnight, which was written Sunday and sent ready for them to look at Monday, which they totally ignored until I rang them half an hour before they closed.
The manager has also mentioned that because there is no deliveries in my area that has also delayed delivery. They will only deliver your goods if there are other orders near you. Communication is abysmal from them, I would still be very careful to chose to order from this company.

There sales services were brilliant they asked exactly what I was using the panel's for and advised me on everything that was needed

Josh handled the sales and helped me with exactly what I needed for my Shed Project.
Tony the driver, was friendly and professional and assisted with any queries I had. Top marks Briarwood!
