Love the feel that you get from this company. It’s like a friendly family business that you’re dealing with.
Like the fact that you can see all about the vehicles that are up for grabs and how they’re taken care of.
Keep hoping for a win but hey, it’s only a few quid for a bit of fun.

I stumbled across BCC by accident…

I stumbled across BCC by accident whilst scrolling and now I'm hooked! I love looking at their ongoing restorations and they strike me as a real old fashioned British cottage industry. Ok, I haven't won anything in the competitions but they do feature some interesting stuff so I'll have a little punt when something interesting comes up just in case! Keep up the good work.

Absolutely brilliant staff to deal…

Absolutely brilliant staff to deal with, and after winning a Jaguar mk2 3.4 1965 , can honestly say the help and advice given is a true reflection of their care of the cars and passion , the car won is stunning and could not be happier.

I won the TVR!! However be aware please

Update 09-12-2025 I won the TVR!!! However after one week of ownership the car failed to proceed and I ended up spending 3 months and considerable money getting the car up to usuable condition. The company were great to start with however after attempting the get an answer as to how a car failed one week into having it they proceeded to blame me and wouldn't take any responsibility as the part that failed was documented of their page. One in which they didn't fix. I didn't want to post this as I'd have hoped they would've had the decency to contact and help which their garage and main mechanic did. Only explanation given was a supposeded battery which after a week I didn't believe. A TVR specialist then inspected repaired and replaced what wasn't fixed. All of this is documented, he was stunned that such basic maintainence wasn't completed included the car not being serviced for 2 years. Yes you can win your dream car here I did and this hasn't put me off owning this car or even entering competitions as a whole. But please anyone who does enter have your eyes wide open and if you want help don't expect to get it. Maybe that's my mistake. However for a company that prides itself on integrity I was shocked.

No documents like that were given to me as I went through all the paperwork I have last invoice was from 2023 when the car was serviced and some suspension components were changed. I will glady send over the documents I have and the invoices of the money I've had to spend. I tried to deal with this amicablely and without needed to add this to a review. However I believe people that enter your competitions have a right to know. As when I wanted to deal with this with yourselves I was expected to pay alot out of pocket for a car that was broken by a part that was neglected to be fixed that was logged on your own website(fuel pump)
Thankyou Tony who drove 11 hrs to drop the car off to me.

10/12/2025 - Hi Tom, this has come as a bit of a surprise, considering we feel we have been supporting you through your issues. What you've said above is not strictly true is it? The car was appraised as soon as it arrived with us, then we carried out a full pre delivery inspection prior to it being delivered to you. Both documents, signed by the technician were given to you. I hope you passed these on to your TVR specialist as part of their inspection. They could have then seen that maintenance and service work was carried out on the vehicle. As for things going wrong, we can not predict what is about to go wrong, we can only work with what we have at the time and at the time the car was exactly as expected and ready to be delivered. Otherwise would wouldn't have made the 11hr trip. Our advice to you was to run it in to your local garage (as you are 11hrs from us), ask them to diagnose the problem and if it were minor it could be repaired and resolved much faster then all of us covering the distance. We would then happily take the car back to rectify the issues in our own in-house workshop if the problem was larger than expected. You took that advice and the next time we hear from you is now, via Trustpilot. Not exactly the fairest way to resolve the issue. On a positive note, I'm glad you now have the car up and running and I do hope you enjoy many years with it. Regards Craig

Shady practices

I entered a competition 2 days before the draw, with a 2500 ticket limit. On the morning of the draw, the competition was extended by a week.

Edited to respond - I have the correct company you extended the Boxster draw that I was a ticket holder for - only last month.

Hey James, not sure you have the right company here. We don't extend our draws. We have done in the past, when we first started out which is perfectly legal, but certainly never on the day of the draw. Morally that is just wrong.

Beautiful cars to win, easy to enter, being a mechanic my self I'd love to visit there work shop and see some proper cars like I used to work on instead of the modern rubbish I have to work on now.

Absolute waste of time and don’t keep…

Absolute waste of time and don’t keep up to their promises.

My first conversation with them was on the 15th May where we agreed for them to collect my Rover Mini for a complete check & necessary works done. It was also agreed by the member of staff whom I talked to that we would communicate on WhatsApp (as I live overseas)regarding the progress of work etc etc.

On the 6th of June I got a message on WhatsApp re the collection of my car from my residence between 8-9am. I replied to the message straight away requesting them to collect it between 9-10am as my Mrs does the school run. No reply but message seen. ( blue ticked )
I tried to call few times. No answer

On the 9th I called up the office to check on my status if this was a possibility & the owner ( this is what he said ) commented that we don’t let our staff communicate over WhatsApp. Infact he was the one whom I talked to initially , who put me in touch with his technician & we agreed to have a WhatsApp communication. ( only because I live overseas )

All I wanted to know was if the collection time could be moved by an hour.

Mentioned to the owner that if this is the level of customer communication where I am having to wait for a simple Yes or No answer regarding my collection time , it’s very difficult to do business.

The technician soon called me on WhatsApp & I explained to him everything. He said the collection can be arranged between 9-10am. No problem. He will talk to the office and finalise everything.

After talking to the office he called me back to say that the collection can only be done between 8-9am and that they don’t want to do business with me anymore.

Thanks Bridge for wasting my time. There are plenty of mini restoration specialists whom I personally know and I came to you only through recommendations.

Probably you are judging a book by its cover is what I feel. Not good for any business.

I'm Craig, I'm the owner you speak of above and the one you spoke to this morning. Correct me where I am wrong; you called me this morning to explain that you had Whatsapp'd somebody over the weekend asking whether a time for collection of your car could be changed from 8am to 9am to which I answered 'yes sure, I'm on the diary now'. That answer wasn't good enough for you because you never got a reply over the weekend via Whatsapp. Unfortunately I was unable to answer for somebody else and as nobody works a Monday other than me, I was unable to find out why you didn't get that reply. I explained that if Whatsapp was your only form of communication then it would've been better being on my private phone rather than a staff member as I am then in control of what we, as a business can do. Turns out you messaged them at 1:30am on a weekend and you are complaining that you have not received an answer yet. They are not back in the office until Tuesday and it's Monday today. As I say, I was happy to help this morning but you instead decided to complain to me about something I knew nothing about and when I confirmed I could alter your timings you said no. Now I receive a 1 star review. I acted instantly on the information that I was given, I can only apologise for a staff member not responding to you over his weekend but it is his weekend and you are messaging on a private phone. I appreciate now that you only have Whatsapp to communicate but an email or even a trustpilot message would have gotten to me over the weekend. As with all business owners, we rarely switch off at weekends but staff members have a right to and they don't deserve to be treated with the respect that you have given. Best of luck with your Mini and I hope that our 1 star review does not unnecessarily affect the decision of the next happy customer.

Postal entries

This competition site no longer seems to accept Postal entries. This, I believe that this is a legal requirement.
I recently tested this by sending an entry, recorded delivery, for the Land Rover. I know that they received it because they signed for it but no entry was issued.
Before sending I checked and double checked that I had followed all the rules correctly.
It's a shame, they have great prizes but I can't afford to use the paid entry method every time.

UPDATE

Further to my comments above Rob at Bridge has explained how they handle postal entries. Their system is far from clear for customers to negotiate but I now believe that postal entries are being accepted.

Stop sending me emails promoting your business

I had one go on one of bridges competitions
So when I filled the form out ..I made sure I didn't tick the box allowing them to send me rubbish...
So I've had 5 or 6 in the last week alone
To each one I've replied saying stop sending me emails..
So feel I need to write this review...

Hi Burke, thanks for the message. Sorry it has taken a 1 star review for us to see it but it's done it's job. We certainly don't want to be annoying you with emails. Replying to our 'noreply' or 'competitions' email address does not get monitored as we have thousands come through to there. The email list is automatically generated so if you did not tick the box then it would not have added you to the list so you must have subscribed somewhere along the lines. But that's not a problem. I can have you removed from that. Receiving 5 to 6 emails from us in 1 week is not strictly correct as we send no more than 2 out a week, most of the time it is 1. Bridge haven't posted/notified by email the winner of the Healey 100/6, drawn on 4th August '24, yet. As I entered the draw, I'd like to know! It's now the 11th August!
They usually do. Oversight?

Firstly, thank you for entering the competition to win our 1958 Austin Healey, your support is appreciated.

Immediately after every competition has been drawn, the winners section of our website is updated with the name and ticket number of the lucky winner.

We also send out an email to everyone who entered the draw informing them of the result. However, these can sometimes end up in your spam folder.

As the live draw for the Austin Healey was held off-site (at Helmingham Hall), additional challenges such as connectivity, bystanders etc can delay things slightly.

Four down and counting ! Just completed an 800 mile drive home…

Just completed an 800 mile drive home from Pettistree in a newly restored 1976 Triumph Spitfire 1500.

This is my fourth nut and bolt concours restoration project with Bridge Classic Cars and undoubtedly the best to date.

16 months work from a rolling shell to what the ex-BL Border Force officer in Folkestone described as 'simply stunning' !

Certainly beyond the standard of OE in Canley 48 years ago.

I am a totally satisfied customer of Bridge Classic Cars and recommend their services to anyone who is serious about total quality. My personal experience is that if you pay less, you will end up paying significantly more, both in money and heartache.

Crikey James, give me a chance. You emailed me over the weekend and I emailed you straight back to say that I will look into it on Monday when I have access to the system at the office. I've now come in and sorted it for you straight away (8am), before I've even had my morning coffee!! :) You ticked the box to opt in to the auto renewal on your VIP membership. Please note, that's opting in and not opting out so you chose for it to be renewed but I've even said to you that I can reverse that choice if you don't want the VIP Membership. Surely that's the perfect outcome you'd want? As for someone winning twice, that's the luck of the draw. I hardly think 1 star is necessary for someone being lucky enough to win twice.
