UPDATE: I pushed back hard via email as they tried negotiating with rubbish counter offers to get me to spend more of my money with them, like that was EVER going to happen. I copied their email and responded point by point in red with lashings of sarcasm. I even at one point when they said they "would deliver at a convenient date" that unless they have a time machine, the date was the original order date etc. I did get refunded the full amount, eventually. I also reported them to the ACCC, prior to them refunding my money.

THE COMPANY IS NOTHING MORE THAN SCAMMERS!!!
I gave them 1 star but they deserve no stars and to be shut down.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on the 26th August 26. I was not alerted to the fact that the address was "outside their delivery area" until the day of the delivery.

Its been 10 days since I ordered and still no flowers. Today, after my fourth request for a refund they again sent me this AI generated email "Dear N, Thank you for choosing us for your order. The delivery address provided falls outside our local delivery zones, we deliver there overnight with the couriers from Tuesday to Friday. We will send your order for delivery on Tuesday, we'll prioritize it and include a gourmet item as a complimentary upgrade with your delivery. Additionally, the florist informed us that they are out of stock for the exact bouquet as shown on the website and would substitute with a mixed bouquet in order not to miss the special occasion. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. If you have questions, use our Live Chat or reply to this email. Kind regards, Customer Service Team". I have repeatedly told them i no longer need the flowers as I was forced to purchase replacements at a later date and that their failure to uphold their end of the transaction caused me to spoil the surprise.

I used the shop app to complete the transaction and their website, shopify will not allow me to lodge a complaint until 30 days have past since I ordered and when I spoke to their online assistant they told me they weren't interested in hearing about dodgy businesses using their app to scam people.

Wish had seen this before ACCC have to be on their case for sure!

I left a one star review only because there wasn't a lower rating. Sent flowers to my grieving Aunt only for them left to spoil at a distant post office. Customer service offered a thirty dollar in store credit for over 130 dollar purchase.

Delayed! I haveOrdered and called by the phone to them they told me they will be delivered until 9 pm . Nothing happened. I will ask for refund

Wished I’d looked here before I proceeded.
Ordered on a Wednesday for delivery Thursday. Didn’t happen. Received an email stating delivery unsuccessful and couldn’t be reached on mobile. There were no missed calls on my phone. Rang 1800# - dealt with the rudest operator that basically got into an argument with me over a refund request for the delivery. Didn’t manage to get her name because she hung up in my ear. Called back to just hear Gregory repeat sorry mam’ with no sincerity felt at all. Well flowers arrived 5 days later - didn’t resemble what website advertised. Shipping refund never occurred.
I honestly don’t have the energy to follow up. What’s worse is these flowers were purchased for a dear friend whose husband passed away. What a terrible experience for a fragile situation. I would NEVER recommend dealing with this business EVER! Save yourself a whole lot of disappointment, frustration, anger and time.

Very disappointing – not as advertised

I ordered a beautiful bunch of flowers from Bunches & Stems for a friend and paid extra for additional stems. The arrangement pictured on their website looked full, beautiful and generous, and the website also clearly indicated that the flowers would be presented in a mason jar.

Unfortunately, what my friend received was extremely disappointing. The bouquet had approximately half the number of stems I had paid for and looked nothing like the arrangement pictured on the website. It was also not supplied in the mason jar as clearly indicated when I placed the order.

I contacted customer service to explain my concerns, but unfortunately their response was equally unsatisfactory. The only refund they were initially prepared to offer was for the mason jar, despite the fact that my main concern was the significant difference between what I ordered and what was actually delivered.

I understand that flowers can vary from the photographs, but this was far more than a normal variation. I paid for extra stems and expected the arrangement to reflect what was advertised.

Very disappointing experience, particularly when sending flowers as a gift. I would expect a florist to deliver something reasonably consistent with what the customer has paid for and what is advertised on their website.

Promised next day delivery and charged me $23 for it. Flowers were not delivered 3 days later despite numerous promises from customer service saying they would be delivered on time. Requested flowers not available so swapped out for much cheaper flowers. Ordered and paid for roses but didn't get them. Very unhelpful customer service and all I got was empty words and "we apologize for the inconvenience" Will never deal with again.

This business is as atrocious as described by every other review. It was unusual for me to not check reviews first but, alas, it was only once I got a phone call saying that “due to logistical reasons” my same day delivery would not be possible and when I then checked the tracking number and saw where it was coming from that I realised what a scam business it is. This did drive me to immediately send an email to the business so I could start building my paper trail to organise a chargeback through my bank. In the first email I recapped the phone call and the promise of delivery the following day, I also made sure to flag my concern about the product potentially not being delivered at acceptable quality (ACL Section 54) - I wanted to prepare in case they really did deliver the next day and the flowers were of terrible quality. In their response they committed to next day delivery which then failed to happen. The follow up email was a very firm and formal rejection due to their failure provide the service within a reasonable time (ACL Section 62) - the Australia post tracking info provided a wealth of evidence here on the run around they did. They then came back with an offer of the pathetic $30 store credit but as I had gathered the evidence I needed (basically the bank wants to see that you’ve tried to engage a refund through the seller) I haven’t bothered to respond. I know this is long winded but I wanted to help give a starting place for how to get your money back for the next person.

Late delivery for a birthday, will never use again. They do not care about the customer.

Very disappointed with my Bloomex order. The website did not clearly state that my address was outside their local delivery area, and I was promised same-day delivery. When the delivery was delayed, they promised a complimentary upgrade, but this was not provided. Unfortunately, the flowers also didn’t look fresh, with the roses already quite open. I wouldn’t recommend Bloomex based on this experience.

One star is generous. This company is awful (if they’re even real!) I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. The website looks legit, but my flowers were meant to be delivered Thursday, and unsurprisingly after seeing these reviews, they have not! They are “still in transit”. Even if that is the case, flowers delivered 5+ days late are not going to be in the “luxury” state that I paid for. They will likely be dead! I’m upset and embarrassed that I used this company for my Aunt’s 80th birthday. Thinking I was ordering from a reputable local florist based on my Google search and ending up with nothing but a dent in my bank balance and AI generated email responses. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Absolute disgrace of a business. I ordered the "Warm Embrace Unforgettable" arrangement (advertised as 19 premium stems) as well as a vase as a sensitive sympathy gesture for my grieving mother-in-law. What was actually delivered was an incredibly cheap, poorly arranged bouquet that was completely missing the premium stem count I paid for. It looked nothing like the elegant photo on their website. When I complained and sent photographic evidence of the pathetic arrangement my mother-in-law received, their customer service team tried to brush me off with a measly $30 store credit. When I stood my ground and requested a refund under Australian Consumer Law, they completely changed their story. They claimed their "internal warehouse and florist packaging photos" showed the order was perfect, refused to actually show me these alleged photos, and then spitefully revoked the store credit offer entirely. They take your money for a premium product, deliver a cheap substitute, and use scripted excuses about "internal photos" to avoid accountability. Look at the other reviews here-it is a repetitive pattern of behavior. I have officially escalated this matter to NSW Fair Trading for formal investigation. Avoid Bunches And Stems Australia at all costs.

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from this company, the flowers were nothing like the picture in colour or volume, just shoved in a little box and all screwed up. How can this company charge so much for such an inferior product and keep operating with so many negative reviews.

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM THIS COMPANY. they do not deliver what you want or when or where you want. My flowers were of less quality than I ordered, delivered late and not even to the address supplied. They were delivered to the local post office. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND I WILL NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN.

⭐ 1/5 — Very disappointing experience with Bunches & Stems

I purchased a Birthday Combo I through Bunches & Stems Australia, paying a total of $126.91, including $24.95 for delivery. I placed the order through Bunches & Stems, however the order was ultimately fulfilled/sent through Bloomex.

Unfortunately, the experience was nothing like what I expected when ordering a birthday gift through Bunches & Stems.

The order was not delivered as expected. After delivery issues, the recipient was contacted directly and advised that the delivery had been rescheduled. I was also emailed confirming that the delivery details had been discussed with her and that she was expecting the delivery.

Despite this, the order was not delivered to her at all. Instead, it was sent to a post office in a cardboard box for collection.

I then had to drive approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to collect the birthday gift myself, despite having paid $24.95 specifically for delivery.

When I opened the box, I was extremely disappointed. The flowers were packaged inside the cardboard box without what I considered an appropriate water source, and the chocolates/food items were loose in the bottom of the box rather than beautifully presented in the gift basket shown when I placed my order.

The finished product looked completely different from the Birthday Combo I believed I was purchasing.

This was supposed to be a special birthday surprise. Instead, the recipient was contacted, the surprise was spoiled, the delivery didn’t happen as promised, and I had to collect a poorly presented box myself.

I purchased and paid Bunches & Stems, so from a customer’s perspective, they are the business I trusted with my order. The fact that it was fulfilled through Bloomex doesn’t change the experience I had after purchasing through Bunches & Stems.

I supplied photographs showing the condition and presentation of what I received and requested a full refund of $126.91. Rather than refunding me, I was offered $30 store credit for a future purchase.

After an experience like this, store credit requiring me to purchase from the business again is not an acceptable resolution for me.

Had I known that my $126.91 birthday order would end up as flowers and chocolates in a cardboard box at a post office that I had to drive over an hour to collect myself, I would never have placed the order.

I have photos of what was advertised compared with what was actually received, along with the correspondence regarding the delivery.

Based on my experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend Bunches & Stems Australia.

Scam, Avoid at all costs, This company did not deliver flowers on booked day and did not notify me. When I contacted them they said we will deliver another day. I disagreed and requested a refund as I had needed them on the day requested. They flatly refused a refund and stopped communicating. I now have a case with ACCC my bank and Fair Trading. I now see all the negative reviews. How can this company continue to trade!?

I ordered flowers for my girlfriend who had just lost her mother and ordered a beautiful bright bunch of flowers and she got 1/3 bunch of flowers half dead and nothing that I ordered. These people are a shonk and I am still trying to get my money back. I ordered them and they were a day late. Someone phoned me to tell me they would be a day late in delivering and I asked where they were and she said Bankstown after the website says Australian company servicing southern highlands for 30 years then I find out they are in Asia. They tell me because the flowers were late they would provide chocolates or some gourmet biscuits and they were biscuits from Aldi. I was so embarrassed that my girlfriend received such awful flowers and biscuits from Aldi as she said she knew the biscuits were from Aldi. They were not interested in the fact that their flowers were nothing like their website and offered me a in store credit. Well no way would I want flowers from them. I am still trying to get my money back. They can’t speak English so it’s very difficult to deal with them. You go on the internet looking for flowers in the southern highlands and you get these people that are false advertising who they are. Please stay away from these people. They are dishonest and provide flowers which aren’t on their website with 1/3 of awful half dead flowers. What ever you do DO NOT BUY FLOWERS FROM THESE AWFUL DISHONEST PEOPLE.

Awful experience. This company is nothing but a scam and you should run a mile never ver use them.

Paid $110 for Lilly’s they sent $25 of broken cheap flowers and flatly refused to refund.
