I have recently completed the ProQual Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice with Business Safety Systems and have found the qualification to be flexible with the style of learning to enable me to fit in the studying alongside my work commitments. My tutor (Kate) was very knowledgeable, professional and approachable. She set me achievable module deadlines to motivate me to keep a good pace thought-out, was always available to give support and guidance when needed and Business Safety Systems offer additional online workshops to support with learning and the chance to talk to other learners. I have really enjoyed this experience and would recommend it to anyone who needs to balance work alongside achieving a qualification.

A fantastic course provider who goes the extra mile to help the learner achieve their goals. Kate is a great tutor and is always available for questions regarding the course, which gives the learner confidence. The course I took was the level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, and without the support of Kate I may have struggled to finish the course, but her explanations and support were a great help.

This course has been nothing short of an excellent learning experience. From a tutor who genuinely cared for my journey and also the user-friendly system to complete my work. I couldn't have asked for a better course! NVQ Level 6 completed within one year and it was made easy by the team.

A pleasurable and supported experience throughout my diploma. Some tricky times getting up to speed and and back into education but Kate was excellent guiding me through my learning. 10/10 thanks again

Offer great support with an online portal to complete the NVQ detailing all the requirements you need for completion.

As a result of not applying myself to my NVQ in the first instance, including having what in my opinion (not diagnosed) are some learning difficulties, I found myself behind schedule with completing the course in the allotted time. In addition, at times I found that some of the questions were difficult to understand. For example, writing an answer down then realising that the question was asking for something different.

However, my assessor has been nothing short of remarkable in supporting me through the entire process, as well as giving me extra time to (after course completion date) complete the course. At each unit stage of the course, my assessor explained the unit, as well as simplifying some questions when I was unsure.

Great support, self paced and remote structure.

The level of encouraging support and assistance from my tutor Kate was excellent. Always willing to offer constructive feedback on my portfolio storyboards, evidence and CPD, whilst also keeping me on track. The online portal was easy to navigate, but also kept me updated on progress with the assessment diary function. I would highly recommend BSS to anyone undertaking professional health and safety qualifications. Thanks again Kate, very much appreciated.

Kate was fantastic with the patience, support and encouragement that she provided. The Qualification seemed daunting at the start but it was well structured to break down modules and this encouraged me to push on with it. I have been working on a NVQ level 6 diploma in occupational safety and health practice for the last 2 years with help and support from Ken Fursland , he is a really good tutor and very helpful. I really liked how you could pick your own units and CPD, also the system was very user friendly
