Vandy Warhol • my new friend
Regina, the gaurdian of Vandy Warhol made everything so easy and the campervan was in excellent condition. Because it is a campervan, I could park my home on wheels right on the water's edge, it was truly amazing.

Owner cancelled at short notice with no compensation and long delay to access refund
Our motorhome booking was cancelled due to personal circumstances of the owner one week out, leaving us out of pocket for powered sites we had booked and paid for (at peak season Easter rates). Camplify made no genuine effort to help in this situation nor have offered any compensation. They also will hold onto our payment for up to 30 days before they will provide refund. Unacceptable given the inconvenience, lost money and disappointment that in no way is our fault.

I have escalated your refund through to the accounts department to be processed as soon as possible and have asked our escalations team to look into the lack of support provided in this instance.

2 star for Camplify as they rarely responded to my messages, emails or phone calls & I ended paying 3 x insurances when my son was significantly injured at the end of last year & I had to change the dates due to him not being able to fly even when supplying a Dr certificates.
5 stars for caravan Owners: The owners were very accommodating & always responded to messages.

Booked a campervan using boxing day…
Booked a campervan using boxing day sale discount code, campervan owner cancelled, camplify refused me a discount code for the new booking. The only reason I booked was because of the discount. Poor customer service. On previous booking van broke down and was unable to speak to anyone at camplify. I was left stranded my own with my dog for hrs and hrs, again camplify didn't care or show any kind of customer service. Will never use again.

Having found Camplify by accident
Having found Camplify by accident, we were able to find a suitable van for the dates and region we were looking for relatively easily. We were put in touch with owners and guided through the process to the point where we could communicate directly. Having got that far, all the rest was easy.
The van was exactly what we needed: well equipped and fitted out: easily big enough for two. Just a question of getting used to driving a 7m van and remembering to brake early on small, tight roads.
Corinna dropped the van off to us and gave us a detailed run through - gas, water, waste, etc.. Although we didn't need to, we felt that she would have been contactable should we have needed anything further during the trip.
Well, we had a great, if too short, a time.

Owner was very friendly and responded quickly to questions. This was the first time we had rented a van through Camplify: very pleased with quick confirmation of booking and receipt of funds through Camplify app, and messaging function worked well for communication with owner. Vehicle was as described and ideal for our needs.

The website is easy to use, though pricing is challenging to navigate
The website is easy to use. I found a good selection of local caravans for my dates and could make enquiries.
What is challenging to navigate is the on-costs for rental hire. e.g. It starts out as $90 per day, then you add insurance $39. After that there is a booking fee, and then there are other mandatory fees applied to some bookings and not others. This is difficult to navigate. For some bookings they start out advertised at $90 hire per day, but with all the additional mandatory costs become around $200 per day.
As a customer I would like some consistency around that.

The Components of Your Total
The Daily Rate ($90): This is set entirely by the individual van owner.
Accident Excess Reduction (Insurance): This is a mandatory daily cost to ensure both you and the owner are protected. The price varies depending on the level of coverage you choose.
The Booking Fee: This covers the platform's operating costs, 24/7 roadside assistance, and our customer support team.
Service/Cleaning Fees: Some owners include a one-off fee for consumables (gas, linen, cleaning). Because these are flat fees, they impact the "per day" average much more on short 2-3 day rentals than on longer trips.
Our Goal for Consistency
We hear you loud and clear on the need for consistency. We are actively looking at ways to make the all-inclusive price more visible earlier in the search process so you aren't hit with surprises at the final step.
A quick tip for now: When browsing, you can often see a "Total Estimate" on the right-hand side once you've entered your specific dates, which helps factor in those one-off fees before you hit "Request to Book."
