Abrupt 30-40 minute calls that arenât scheduled
Iâm just at the beginning stages. So far the team has been highly supportive and they seem friendly. The thing I would say they need to change is calling people abruptly and so many times. I would suggest sending an email and SCHEDULING a call rather than calling and expecting someone to have 30 minutes to speak at that exact time with no prior discussion (I donât consider an email saying youâll be called in 12-48 hours enough). Thereâs so many nuances to someoneâs life like children, work, vacation etc that abrupt calls wouldnât fit into. Please change that. Itâs super easy to write an email requesting when a person is available to have a discussion for 40 minutes.
