Flurina and Canine Sense have been incredible with our rescue cocker spaniel. She has helped us deal with several issues but mainly separation anxiety where we have made significant progress. Personable and friendly Flurina has a no nonsense approach however her love and compassion for dogs shines through. Thank you!

Flurina took the time to observe my dog and his behaviours. We wouldn’t let him off lead in the park and if other dogs were around we kept him on a short lead. After 3 sessions he was running around the park today and even when other dogs came to him and they ran off he listened to me and didn’t follow them. It was great to see him have freedom in the park. Flurina was really easy to talk to and learn from.

Flurina helped us so much with our nervous mini dachshund who was barking at other dogs. The difference is amazing! In our last session our little dog was off lead- (and relaxed!) with Flurina's 2 beautiful rottweilers. Thank you so much for your help!

We were really struggling with our little rescue dog, who is so sweet at home but was hostile to new people. When Flurina first visited I was beside myself and so worried, now - it's like we have a completely different dog in the house. I can't express how much Flurina has changed all of our lives! I got in touch with Flurina, after trying many trainers and nothing worked. I had a puppy that was very insecure and very afraid of other dogs, although she lived with other dogs. This puppy was also to be a show puppy, which was a real problem as she would not walk around the ring with other dogs, she would stop, pull back on her lead and was very afraid. I had given up any hope of that but wanted her to be happier when out. Flurina came along and she knew right away what the problem was, how my girl was feeling, why she was reacting the way she did. Flurina really got to the root of the problem, which others were only treating the symptoms. Flurina taught Dottie and I together to be a team and a rock for my girl. I really thought Flurina was amazing, she totally understood what Dottie needed and how to over come it. We worked with Flurina and I thought her knowledge, understanding was incredible at times I was left speechless at how she got Dottie to be confident. So we tried Dottie at a championship show and Flurina came along she helped me to remain calm and focused and to remember our training. Wow Dottie didn't stall once but she was happy and very confident. We have gone on to achieve many things, with a placing at Crufts and now Dottie has achieved a qualification of being qualified for Crufts for life. None of this would of happened without Flurinas guidance but the most important thing is that Dottie turned into a happy confident Dog and the bond I now have with her is like no other. Flurina is amazing and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Its like she speaks dog. So glad we found her.

Our Thai Bangkaew came to us very anxious and scared and reacted to many things including people, children and dogs.

We're still working with her to improve her behaviour and anxiety but with Flurina's guidance, the results have been surprising.

The thing I love about Flurina is that she's very objective about a dog's behaviour and doesn't make wild assumptions that you might have heard from other trainers.

Instead, she helped us focus on methodical ways to redirect our dog's focus, how to precisely time commands and corrections, and how to guide our dog towards the correct behaviour without the need for slip leads or similarly aggressive tactics. She also had great insights about why dogs behave in a certain way without resorting to the tired clichés.

But best of all, she's a fantastic communicator (not just with dogs but with people). She's a great listener and really articulates her instructions well and makes it easy for us to understand exactly how dog training should work.

We've just had our final session with Flurina but will likely continue working with her as she really helps us to understand out dog better which ultimately allows us to develop a deeper bond with our furry friend.

Wow what can I say. I went to Flurina as she has two rotties and I was looking for someone who understood the breed as Luna (my rottie) was a rescue who came with challenges. Luna loved her from the start. We both put our trust in her and we have reaped huge rewards. Flurina is not just a trainer, she is a behaviourist who understands how dogs think. Her kind and calm manner is a winner. I can’t recommend her enough.

Flurina was extremely friendly and welcoming and reassuring. She provided us with multiple tips and tricks to help with our puppies chewing and biting that helped us exponentially. Not only that, but she was always available via WhatsApp between sessions when we needed extra help and advice which was such a comfort when the puppy stage got hard!

Flurina quickly identified a solution to our dog's problematic behaviours (she really does speak 'dog'!). After three sessions we'd got to grips with what WE had to do and to start putting these lessons into practice. A couple of months on and our relationship with our dog has been transformed. Very happy to recommend.

We now have a wonderfully behaved cavapoo thanks to Flurina. We have had two private training sessions to help with lead training and over reacting to other dogs. In addition we did a 6 week group course covering recall, socialising, agility and many other things. Flurina helped us to understand the behaviour of our puppy with her knowledge of the
phycology of dogs. I would highly recommend Flurina, she is wonderful

We have found Flurina online when we had a lot of challenges and problems with our Samoyed Luna. Luna used to be very reactive dog to kids, dogs, buses, big vehicles. She was as also super hyperactive dog and at some point she became unmanageable, which caused a lot of stress for her and us.

We had behaviourist before that actually made things worst and we were unsure about getting another one, but just after meeting Flurina we knew she was a great choice and could be trusted. She had positive approach to training.

Right away after the first sessions we have seen progress with Luna reactivity and how her behaviour improved. Flurina explained why she was behaving the way she was and how we can resolve it. We have trained with Flurina for few months to address all the issues we had with Luna, and now Luna is no longer reactive dog, the bond between her and us has massively improved and we were able to build trust and good relationships with Luna. We can travel with her without any fear, stress or frustration.

Flurina has very good approach to individuals and she always try to work the best for your circumstances and needs. Can highly recommend Flurina.

Flurina is amazing with the dogs (or should that be the humans?), both in her approach with the owners but the dogs just seem to love her, even those with anxiety and uncertainty around humans and other dogs. She helps explore what drives your dog, what it enjoys and then adapts her training accordingly so you as the owner get the best out of the training and the dog gets to enjoy being with you and wants to do the work!!

I would highly recommend Flurina and her training - as a group, 1:2:1, or even her pack walks. Knowledgable, approachable, not condescending or judgemental, and kind.

I have already reviewed Flurina and Canine sense but felt like I needed to do another one.
She is such an amazing and talented person! Friendly and reassuring as well as being an absolutely outstanding dog trainer/behaviourist.
When I say she understands all dog...she really does.
We use to do 1-2- sessions with our fiery German Shepherd and Flurina but with that help she comes on leaps and bounds.
We take part in the pack walks.
Flurina has started doing training sessions tailored and grouped for specific dogs. The working dog group has really build up Nala's confident.
She no longer barks at every stranger and every dog and I can confidently walk and handle my dog.
She has never been put off by any dog and see the dog for who they, their personalities and traits and builds on them.
She has given us numerous support and we will continue to keep training with her because she is so fantastic!

Flurina is the best dog trainer I have worked with. She always has so much of patience in listening to the challenges, always a smile on her face and really professional with her work. I would very highly recommend her to others who are looking to get their dogs trained.

My 10 month old puppy was starting to guard the stairs, wouldn't get in his crate and some other behavioural issues. Flurina was amazing, she had our puppy sitting by the front door waiting so I can go up the stairs after only a few minutes! She has provided lots of tools and suggestions to help ensure our puppy is happy but understands who the boss is (it's not him!). I would definitely recommend Flurina to anyone who needs help with their puppy as I felt despair at times and now I'm feeling confident that my pup will get there in the end.

We have recently used Flurina to help us with our 3 year old staffy who hadn’t been socialised in indoor/social settings in a couple of years as she had a tendency to react to other dogs. Flurina taught us some initial training to implement with Nelly between sessions which really helped with her impulse control and to help us understand her behaviour, towards the end of our 121 sessions we were able to take Nelly to the pub with no reactions. Flurinas help and guidance has been invaluable and we look forward to continue attending pack walks and paws in the city 🐶

Flurina is magic!

I had come to the point of no hope with my two westies. They were barking at anything that moved outside, barking and jumping up at the tv when any programme with an animal in it was on, barking with separation anxiety whenever I left a room, barking at other dogs when out on and walk and they had such a high prey drive that they had no recall at all.

Three sessions later and they are like different dogs!! I cannot believe how calm our house now feels and today they went off lead in the woods and came back!! I was in disbelief – were these the same dogs?!!

I would highly recommend, Flurina to anybody who feels they need help and support with any aspect of training your dogs.

Flurina is amazing!

Would highly recommend Flurina. We have a very lively rescue who is about 18 months old. I could never envisage letting him off the lead in an open park/woods as I worried too much about his over enthusiastic bouncy behaviours when meeting people and other dogs. I’d only use fields that were completely empty or secure fields. On our second meeting (first was at home for some other advice) Flurina instilled confidence in me and him and we were able to let the long line go and let him run. We walked and talked for an hour with support and guidance and we both came away delighted, having met other dogs and people with no dramas. Thanks again Flurina. Next we will be joining the pack walks!

Flurina has been fantastic, we would highly recommend her. She is clearly extremely knowledgeable and worked our Cairn Terrier out immediately. Flurina is very efficient, friendly and gives great advice.

My wife and I booked three sessions with Flurina over a 6-week period for our very energetic, 16-month-old rescue Collie Cross dog. We were absolutely delighted with the results. Before these sessions, he was pulling on the lead, jumping up at people, other dogs, cycles and cars which was not good for our old bones, especially the shoulders! He is no longer doing any of these things and now has great recall so we can confidently let him off the lead. Flurina gave us the tools and confidence we lacked to train our dog properly, but she also has a really good rapport with both dogs and people. Thank you so much Flurina and I really recommend her to anybody needing some help training their best friend!
