The final feedback stated:
"While [Iâm] confident in identifying opportunities, [I] leave granular solution design to SMEs... not clear [I] can work independently."
Reality:
Clearly demonstrated end-to-end transformation leadership in my career (e.g., global contact center redesigns, AI automation rollouts).
Explicitly explained my collaborative approach with SMEs without dependency (verified by Vikas/James).
Provided a step-by-step framework for use-case identification when data is absent (shared with Laura).
Issue: Feedback ignored these specifics, reducing my expertise to a caricature.
2. Process Red Flags
Misrepresented "Informal" Chats: Lauraâs session was an interrogation, not a collaboration discussion.
Bait-and-Switch Tactics: Steven (new to the role) suggested I consider a junior position, undermining my candidacy.
Decision-Maker Confusion: Initially told Steven/Laura werenât final decision-makers, then later informed they were.

Supposedly an inclusive company offering opportunities for young Autistic people.
Application "form" is a challenge most most people would struggle with and when your Autistic son spends 3 days working on his application to get a no thanks within a few hours, you have to wonder how inclusive these people are. Not even an opportunity to have a chat or an interview which is part of a learning curve for these young people.
Capgemini - If you are committed to these guys welfare by giving them opportunity which means you need to let them see the process without just rejecting them out of hand. That is unnecessary for a cognitively orthodox person but for an Autistic person, the anxiety of rejection can run deep and get in the way of future applications.

Got ignored twice when applying for a job
I've applied to work at Capgemini twice. The first time I had an interview and all was going well, until the internal recruitment person switched jobs and I was left hanging as I had no other person to contact? I literally had to find them on linkedin to see that they changed jobs and when I reached out to them they said they had no idea where my application had gotten and apparently someone else would contact me (spoiler alert! no one ever contacted me, told me whether my interview was good/bad, nothing!)
I applied again recently as I thought things could be different however, after an email from their recruitment team regarding a few questions surrounding myself, I was left for 2-3 weeks without any response and even after sending a follow up email, I heard nothing and I'm 99% sure they have ghosted me again. I have no issues with getting rejected from the role, however there is ZERO communication from them which is my problem. A simple "sorry you have been unsuccessful" email would suffice but perhaps they're allergic from acting like a proper consultancy. I will definitely not be applying here again.

I was placed in an application process for over two months after finishing off their assessment. I made the assessment excellently and expected to receive feedback from them. I visited their office and talked with a representative and he also said that im a good fit.
However i heard nothing from them, not until o asked several times to them to clarify whether or not they want to hire me. At the end they said that they didnt have any more vacancies available. HOWEVER on LinkedIn they are still searching for a junior developer.

Very poor professional experience
For the time that I was employed, I enjoyed the work and my colleagues for the most part. However, I was online at 6:00 am every morning and for three months had to be online at 5:00 am to accommodate various time zones. I even attended meetings at 3:00 am and 4:00 am which is ridiculous to ask of anyone. There were countless certificate courses offered, but none were worth the time. I received countless emails about how you can customize your career and optimize your future...well, after a year and half, they had no projects unless I was to relocate across the country at my expense. I was hired at 100% remote, but within that year and a half, they apparently became a hybrid company. Overall it was not a good experience and there was no option to customize your career or optimize your future. I was let go because I was unable to relocate. I would not recommend this company. It is very Indian run and managers are just puppets that I could not understand half of what they said. They were abrupt and did not provide direction on any level.

Worst IT Company for contractors? - Discuss.
Over 20 years experience working in the contract IT market and I've never really had ANY 'bad' experiences except with the 3 'unexpectedly short' contracts undertaken with CapGemini :
Project 1. Over-sold role purely to get a skilled bum on a seat to compete for a bid and then had quite literally NOTHING to do on-site.
Project 2. Folded 2 months in - zero attempt to find suitable alternative roles on other project.
Project 3. Complete and utter FAIL dealing with required 'security clearance' paperwork.
In ALL cases the communications from management were pretty dire and bordering on downright rude. In the latter case in particular as this was an inside IR35 umbrella contract I really learned why NOT to work umbrella if at all possible as well as why NOT to work for CapGemini.
The impression I have been left with is of a really cheap & nasty 'body shop' that just feeds bodies through a pipeline badly - rather than a reputable IT consultancy.
Contractor or not - I place a value on the kinds of clients I am prepared to work for.
CapGemini don't meet my integrity criteria.
