really good promess, falling short on the delivery side of things.... Saw a good add saying it was easy to create content with it, but i don't agree, i think the automated edits are very bad, no one in their right mind would post as-is after being generated, and i think the animations are very disapointing, espectially for a pricey membership.

Initially really liked it, I'm a videographer and I use this to simplify social media editing, I even opted for the pro option, but when I switched to a different computer it didn't save any of my projects or my templates and I had to recreate them all over again, and then I once accidentally clicked out of that window, all I did was log in again and it did the same thing, wiped all my saved templates and old videos. I don't want to part with caption.ai because it does offer a lot of options other caption softwares don't. But this was the last straw, I wanted to keep it because I use it for work and I've established a certain look with the captions, but since the only thing keeping me was the templates and they can't even properly save those or allow me to export them to have on multiple devices, it's not worth it.

Unfortunately I can't give them zero stars. Pro subscription is awful. You can create 6 videos and than they ask for more money while those 6 videos are not what you actually need. Waste of time and money.

Non ho mai provato la versione pro, ma sono sicuro che sarà all'altezza.

Captions found to be a really helpful tool for my work. Lately I had a problem with the aspect ratio of the video and I send a message to the help center of the app and I had my problem solve just in a couple of minutes. A big thank you to my friend Sam who help me with his instructions.

Sound goes out of sync with images when you export.

Total shit app i use it only because it support Czech.

Das Gute: die Captions! Die sind wirklich mega, kaum etwas zu korrigieren und auch die Variationen und Animationen sind top! Auch das Denoise Tool ist super.

Alles andere ist extrem schlecht. Ständig ist das Bild blass und bei 99% der Exporte ist Video und Bild nicht mehr synchron, was extrem ärgerlich ist, da mir dann auch die Untertitel nichts mehr bringen...

Alles im Allen: guter Ansatz, aber sehr verbesserungswürdig!

This app wasted hours of my life by extremely slow loading. Plus one of the exported videos came out with unexpectedly washed out colors.. and one made my sound out of sync.

Don't Use it - full bugs. Terrible service - with unbelieveble answers from their staff.

This app is terrible, they charge $1,000 for the high end app and it constantly has server issues. If you switch from the app to the desktop it's even worse! Total scam. Don't give them your money

I use Captions in an Iphone 12. This app is terrible, fully buggy, the app closes automatically every time, It's not easy to understand how to add a video in the background and a lot more...

The browser version is very buggy, and often has issues exporting and it unsyncs audio.

Every time - EVERY DAMN TIME! - I export a video from Captions, the audio goes out of sync (obviously when importing the video is perfect).

It's very frustrating and makes a simple job extremely complicated. Even though I constantly change export parameters, the problem still occurs every time.

I use Captions to easily subtitle my reels, because compared to other platforms I have to say that it has a very good transcription accuracy. However, it doesn't allow me to have a decent output, so I am forced to rely on other platforms.

Sorry, but due to this bug I would absolutely not recommend it.

Scammer app, doesnt even tell you its not free until you decide to export the video

L'application rame tout le temps et si elle ne rame pas elle ne fonctionne juste pas, vous perdrez énormement de temps juste pour écrire des sous titres automatiques, les autres fonctions sont globalement inutile ou fonction en demi teinte

I initially opted for the Pro Plan, expecting comprehensive features, but was dismayed to find that it still imposes watermarks on content. This tactic seems designed to push users towards the Max Plan, which is three times the cost of the Pro Plan—a pricing strategy that feels both misleading and exploitative.​

Technical issues further mar the experience; the system crashes frequently, disrupting workflow and wasting valuable time. To make matters worse, the support feature is unreliable, often unresponsive when assistance is most needed. This inconsistency in customer support is unacceptable, especially when seeking help or requesting a refund.​

I invested four hours attempting to create an AI-generated video. The final product was subpar, with poor audio quality and intrusive watermarks that rendered it unusable. Ironically, the free trial without a subscription offered a better experience than the paid Pro Plan.​

In summary, Captions AI overpromises and underdelivers. Its deceptive pricing, technical instability, and inadequate customer support make it a platform to avoid. I strongly advise against using Captions AI for your video creation needs.​
