This was a return visit having been the previous week to see the items we were interested in. Armed with all the information, we was able to narrow down our list and make an informed choice so returned back to place our order. Arriving at the Brierley Hill Showroom you are taken by the clean, well laid out showroom which is divided into sections Lounge furniture, Wheelchairs, Travelator's of every description, Bathroom equipment, Beds etc. The choice is impressive everything you need to help you live independently. With plenty of room to walk/wheelchair around, such a bonus. Greeted by Shane, we were put at immediate ease. Polite, knowledgeable and patient, he talked us through all we needed to know in respect of the differences in the products we were interested in. Never did we feel under any stress or felt uncomfortable our dignity was respected at all times. The items were not available in stock, it is a Showroom after all, he ordered them online for us. They arrived 2 days later along with a host of informative information that I will make good use of. All the staff were engaged with customers, the place was a hive of activity, it was such a relaxing atmosphere. It really does allow those who are mobility impaired to obtain equipment to allow them to live in comfort and safely in their own homes. The customer service is second to none. They really do want you to have a First Class experience. Buy with confidence from a Company that genuinely do put the customer first, we truly do need to support them and in turn they support us.

I placed an order on Monday 24th August 2026 for a new riser recliner and electric bed for my mum, explaining that the situation was urgent as she was in hospital and we needed the equipment in place to help get her home safely.

I was initially surprised to learn that the normal turnaround was around seven days, but CareCo were absolutely superb. They completely understood our circumstances, were genuinely sympathetic, and actually rearranged their delivery itinerary to help us get the products much sooner than expected.

The order was placed on Monday 24th August and, incredibly, everything was delivered today, Thursday 27th August 2026.

From the moment I placed the order, the service was first class. The goodwill discount was greatly appreciated, and the professionalism from everyone I dealt with over the phone was excellent.

The delivery service was equally impressive. We were told the drivers would be with us in around 45 minutes and, like the Red Arrows, they arrived in about 35! They assembled everything properly, cleared away all of the packaging and rubbish, and took their time explaining exactly how everything worked. Nothing felt rushed and the whole delivery was handled very professionally.

A big shout-out and thank you to Josh and his colleague on the delivery team, and especially Katie, the Sales Manager, for going above and beyond to help us at a very difficult time.

I also really appreciated CareCo being honest about not being able to supply the electric hoist we needed and instead recommending another company who could help. That company turned out to be equally professional, which made a difficult situation considerably easier for us.

Fantastic customer service from start to finish. CareCo showed genuine compassion as well as professionalism, and their willingness to help meant we could get everything ready for Mum to come home from hospital as quickly as possible.

Wanted to buy a 8 mph mobility scooter for first time.
Visited the Braintree store (head office) and met by Gosia who listened to our wishes and steered us away from the highly priced Which? recommended models and picked out 2 medium priced - 4 mph and 8 mph, dressed me in a vizi jacket and i spent about 3/4 hr driving around car park. I was still apprehensive so iIcame back on the Saturday morning for another session, and finished off driving indoors, around a difficult rt. angle turn.
The whole experience could not be bettered and Gosia was excellent - patient and giving the right information when needed. (Vega RS8)
It is well worth buying a pannier bag for the back of the chair, and delivery package ,where Clark went through necessary information and answered questions as needed to my address.
Both the staff named provided the kind of service you would expect but don't always experience in other. stores. We were even brought refreshments!
From my experience i cannot rate CareCo too highly.
Very caring, responsible team

I came into store with my 91 year old mum, we were served by Marie. Marie was helpful and patient, she answered all our questions. My mum was very happy resulting in her purchasing a walking aid.

This was our first time at Careco and we were very pleased with the service that we got, I needed a new wheelchair and therewas so many to chose from, then I found the one that was best for me as I have to be careful of my spine. Maria was excellent with us making sure I got the right one that was good for my spine, so a big thank you to Maria and not forgetting Bob who showed us to the wheelchairs and explained the different backs that would be good for me.

I urgently needed a wheelchair at a reasonable cost. Initially, I was led to believe that the model I was interested was not available but Marie, at the Peterborough branch, wasn't taking no for an answer and after searching the stock she found what I was after. Perfect.

I am beyond disappointed with CareCo. My 80 year old mother purchased a bed for approximately £2,000 and 1.5 weeks later they will not take it back, as said we only had a 48 hour cooling off period. This bed was purchased as recommended by the manager and is not suitable for function. Medical experts have said this doesn’t meet my mum’s needs and she will need a hospital bed. The bed is immaculate and inappropriate for the elderly. Medical experts said a bed should rise and fall as a whole and the bed doesn’t lower enough to suitably use. The customer service team said they would call me back, alas they did not and I’ve called a day later, still no manager available. I’m told to have no hope and that I will be called in a few days. The most vulnerable have not been cared for by this company. Took the money immediately and do not have care, compassion or understanding for the elderly or their needs. Also do not have decent morals in communicating with me as this has not been seen a priority and happy to miss agreed return calls.

Excellent customer service

The customer service at CareCo is second to none. Had my delivery today which was exactly as arranged. Drivers called in the morning to give me a time they'd be here and they were bang on time, they were fabulous delivery lads a total pleasure to have in your home. I have found the the staff at CareCo are not only helpful and polite, they are very professional. I am 100% happy with my chair, and the service i recieved in the process. The help from staff at Chester were terrific and Mr Harrison was a gentleman and extremely helpful. I have a comfortable new chair and I'm completely happy. If you hit a snag with CareCo you can rest assured it will be dealt with promptly. You can order with complete confidence. I would very highly recommend CareCo.

I bought a Comet Rollator and found the spring pin used for adjusting the handle height had disappeared inside the handle. I have tried phoning their customer service about twenty times over a two hour period. Every time, they disconnect the call after 2 or 3 minutes on hold. This was the first time I have used Careco and there won't be another.

Update: After the umpteenth time of trying, customer service answered the phone. They immediately offered a replacement or refund without trying to keep my business. Clearly they get a lot of complaints. On packing the unit up, I found another fault with it - the locking brake on one side didn't work.

Since posting this review I was contacted by Careco who were very apologetic and offered me a free rollator. I have turned this offer down but have increased the star rating.

I just wanted to say thank you to the care co team in particular William and the delivery services. Due to my health I was unable to make it into the showroom to try the product I purchased, delivery was seamless but unfortunately the product was not right for me.
William became involved with my problems and went the extra mile to resolve it.
In 2026 is good to meet a company that genuinely cares about customer experience even when it’s going wrong.

I had a problem with trying to contact the sales department, on Sunday the 14 June i had a phone call from Mr William Harrison Innovation Director of careco, he couldn't have been more helpful and he resolved my issue the same day, i have always found careco a very good company to do business with , i have found their prices very good and delivery very fast, i highly recommend careco,

My recent experience with them was exceptional.
I had a recent problem with my scooter.
I received a phone call from William who was very sympathetic and understanding. He offered to replace my scooter without question . He went that extra mile to make sure I was happy.
I received the replacement scooter promptly. Staff communicated with me efficiently and were accommodating.
If you want peace of mind and good after sales care you will get it from CareCo .

When I notified CareCo of a problem with my recliner chair Tuesday 09/06/26 they immediately touch action by ordering new springs and arranged an engineer.

The engineer arrived Friday morning 08:00and the problem was fixed and working by 08:24 without any mess.

Visited the Swansea store to get mum her first wheelchair. Josh was very helpful and explained the products. The wheelchair was delivered the next day. Very impressed with the quality and value for money

Never again! Poor customer service. Wheelchair still under warranty but because we're going on holiday in a few weeks time. They cannot do anything as repair could take as long as 3 weeks. I was advised that I could pay for repair elsewhere. Also my warranty didn't cover an engineer call out I would need to pay which wasnt the issue, the issue was an Engineer would probably take a few weeks as well. Not helpful in an emergency situation at all.

Was helped by a very professional and polite friendly staff member to choose the chair that was right for me and the insurance for it from start to finish a very enjoyable experience so if you are in tunstall care co look out for Polly ann she can and will help you x
